Hello everyone,
I just came across Some threads where they said that some of the MI3 have the MSM8974 which has LTE modem so I checked mine and it has the MSM8974 one by using "QPST configuration" and found this

so i continued looking around so i found this thread which is made to unlock other bands for the opo and he used "QXDM pro" to change some values so i tried using it and found that there is actually some LTE config values like this
So Does it make it possibly to make the LTE work on our device !?
and anyone else could verify that they got the same ship MSM8974 !?
and i know that this is nearly impossible to do but who knows
I also had done some research on this matter and I found out that mi3 is not lte
They changed the motherboard which is actually MSM8274 NOT 8974...
You can check it yourself by using atutu benchmark.....
Some people even say that xiaomi have cheated us but the fact is that they never said mi3 is 4g to begin with

So why the qualcomm tools shows that it's a MSM8974 because that sounds weird
but i guess the only thing that could prove this or no is to rip off the device and check the chip directly
Also Cpuz shows that it is 8974 I don't know why...
But there is no way to use 4g bcoz there is no proper hardware (antenna)

as the lte config have no value i may try to input some values to test out but it's risky i think
No matter how much you tweak with the system how can it work with missing hardware.... ?

Just got my new Galaxy note. And I cant find the FM radio app that
is suppose to be on this phone. What am I missing?
It is suppose to be a international unlocked version, but I see a lot of ATT apps on the phone.

I'd check the ROM version, and consider upgrading/flashing the latest e.g. official version
In case you did Flash a ICS-Rom you won´t find any Radio App.
You could try Spirit FM. It´s the only ICS-App that works.
But it´s not easy to configure and it´s not guarantied that you will get it to work.
Might Google for working settings in that app.

Does your phone have a big hardware home button with a capacitive button on either side; or does it just have four light-up capacitive buttons under the screen?

As far as I know, the Galaxy Note I717, doesn't really have an FM Radio build on the device....
you might be better off getting the international version if you want to have the FM radio right off the bat....
what is your phone model written on the box? GT-N7000 ?

There are supposed to be ZERO at&t apps on a genuine international note. You've been had. The best sign is as stated that the N7000 has physical buttons and not simulated, onscreen ones.

Hello, new to the Nexus 6. I'm having a little issue. I keep getting an exclamation and an R, then back to H on my Nexus 6. I noticed that I wouldn't get connectivity if I didn't have Roaming enabled. I got it from Amazon Prime, which says it's a local edition of the Nexus 6 (not imported). And right now, for example, I'm on wifi. I see the Wifi symbol and then an R appears. It says I'm on roaming and then no? Hmm...
I've recorded this video of it, would you mind checking it out and letting me know?

Thanks.
Suggests that your service provider may have a weak signal in your area, or possibly they are experiencing technical difficulties (tower going on and off... I've seen this kind of thing happen lots of times). The fact that it switches to 3G/H *ever* means that it actually is compatible with your carrier.

I know it's not the issue. I have a note 4, same service provider. Also my partner has a z ultra and same service provider. No issues either.
I went into the sim toolkit and changed the roaming settings. Now let's see if it fixes the issue because it's driving me nuts. Lol.

I'm using a rom that is close to stock, I've had similar issue before. Try playing with the mobile data settings to see if this solves it. My carrier is Verizon.

I've been wondering about what to expect when undervolting. There's only one kernel for this phone that I know of, the Render one; if there are more, feel free to point them out. Additionally, what kind of global offsets can I expect, and what are your settings?

Does anybody tried undervolting yet ? Is it worth to play around with lower values and save some juice or not ?

i've tryed to set lower voltage setting via kernel auditor on custom Krait kernel but, as i think, had random reboots while CPU loading growed up in short time...
Still testing on new kernel build

No undervolting but try interative governor tweaks. There is a guide how to in Nexus 5X general.
A stock Moto gets 5h 35mins

So, I have two of these T-Mobile devices. One of them originated from australlia, and another one has an unknown origin. So, the one with unknown origin makes me think that it is a prototype model. It has a weird custom android 1.6 firmware, and it lacks any safety notes, model names and notes in general under the battery, while the second one is bloated with them. I will attach a photo of both devices side by side on this thread. (the one with minimal text is what im curious about)

Instead of a prototype, it may be a clone (IDK).
Can you what do you mean with "weird custom android 1.6 firmware"? That's the only really useful info.
maybe it was made by a unknown man. all of that pieces taked from different places (ex: locations like one for a samsung board or nand memory). if you know about repair the entire device of something i can think you will know what happens really easy.

Hi everyone,
I am about to purchase this phone, but I couldn't see the "ac" standard under WiFI (it is on gsmarena, but not on the local reseller website). Can someone confirm (or not) that Redmi 9 can (or can't ) connect to 5GHz networks via WiFi?
Thank you!
According to the official Website. Yes, it's support 5G wifi.

Thanks! I also went on mi.com and saw that, but I was wondering if anyone actually tested this.
Oh well, I guess I'll see tomorrow if it does, I took the risk and ordered it yesterday (green version).
I'll come back with a definite answer.

After some testing, I can now confirm that Redmi 9 connects to 5G WiFi network, and has a high speed ( 280 Mbps). This matches the results from a 2 year old flagship, that's good enough for me.
not in the Indian version
It does support 5Ghz wifi but not in India. Everywhere else it does.
