Had the same problem (only with JM5), mail no prob only calendar.
Throw away your current exchange account and reinstall it, that did the trick for me!
Hey Guys,
I am a newbie with a galaxy note n7000. I love this phone but had a question.....if you go to setting-account and sync...I have a samsung account showing but when i press sync all...it doesn't do anything. It is grayed out, is it supposed to be this way or is something wrong with my phone. If i press on the samsung account it gives me options like account information, privacy, and etc, but will not let me sync all or manually sync it. Please help and sorry for the dumb question.
The Samsung account does not really have that much to sync. As far as I can tell it is just used for some Samsung apps such as find my phone
http://account.samsung.com/membership/service/getServieInfoList.do
and to put your mind at ease I also cannot sync of Samsung Account.
PS try to make your title a little bit more descriptive next time.
Samsung acct on galaxy note not syncing
Thanks for the tip!
So this does not stop the international galaxy notes from getting updates (like ICS)?

Hello, I have new galaxy note from 1 week.
This is my 3rd android phone so I know the system
With my new note Gmail doesn't sync immediately with push system even if all is configured well.
I tried with stock gingerbread rom, now I have kingdroid 4.3 but same problem.
I tried to clear app data etc without result.
Anyone have an idea (please don't say to use k9 mail)
Nobody can help me?
First try to remove ur google account from settings-accounts then add it again, make sure that background data is enabled then do a sync to c it works or not,if stills not syncing check if u have any firewall or tool that blocks gmail or service sync as droidwall or so,also as a last resort u may try remove google account then add it again while using 3G not with WIFI,i am sure ur problem will be solved,

Check for a Samsung service center in your country and you will find it there.
I disabled the Samsung Account app yesterday and then realized today that the Theme Store wasn't updating, nor could I download new themes. So I re-enabled it but I still am unable to download themes or even add a Samsung account from the Accounts page in Settings. I also found this thread documenting the same problem.
Any solutions, other than a Factory Reset?
Googling your problem leads me to believe that a factory reset might be the only solution. AoN

I have exactly the same problem. Now there is Dark Theme in Theme Store and I can't download it! :crying:
I've enabled all disabled app, but still can't add or activate Samsung account. Do you think they make it to be so for a reason?
Please someone help! Factory reset is the last option here.

There's no easy solution that I've found. The simplest is to just do a Factory Reset, which really wasn't nearly as painful with Lollipop as I expected. I just backed up my Pictures, DCIM, and Downloads folder to my computer, backed up my texts with SMS Backup & Restore, and factory reset, using the new app device restore function when you set it up again.
Guys, i have the same issue. Did several full wipes/factory reset but still i'm unable to login with samsung account, it does nothing when i try to add the account.
- after i do a full factory reset i don't even get the Samsung account popup at first boot. After i put in the google account and try adding the samsung account manually it just does nothing and goes back to the previous screen. Everything related to samsung account is not functional.
I've had the phone for just a few days, bought as new, and i can't use this! I think i'll send it back for warranty, as it's really annoying!
Tried deleting my old samsung account/recreating it, but same issue.

Had the same problem, more specifically: reactivation lock was on (but greyed out), Samsung account was missing in the active accounts list, but trying to add it did nothing, just returned to the active accounts list screen. Also unable to sign-in to Gear apps, etc.
I solved it this way, no factory resed needed (Note 4, latest stock FW):
Went to backup & reset
Choose "factory data reset"
Tapped "reset device"
Entered backup password (don't know if it makes any difference, but I used the password from my Samsung account)
Then it asked me to login to Samsung account, which I did.
Cancelled the "reset wizard"
voila!
I didn't perform factory reset, but the Samsung account is now back in active acounts list and i'm able to use GearApps and other stuff that depends on it.
Also able to control reactivation lock.
Good luck!
The factory reset menu does indeed allow you to add your Samsung Account back in! Good catch...
MarsRover that finally worked for me too. Thanks!
Btw, the problem started after I changed the email address for my Samsung account on their website. Within moments I received a ghost notice on my phone saying 'this account is no longer valid, please log in somethingsomething..'
