Best rom for HTC HD

Looking for best rom for my htc hd, first time i am flashing my htc hd, but don't no which rom is the best with win6.5.

there's no best rom. its always a tradeoff. u want something stable, go for older releases, or go for something spanking new and nice, but with bugs. what's best for me isn't always the best for you. screenshots are an indication of what you can expect. just download something, flash it and try, if there's something you don't like, then move on to another rom.

there´s no best rom, the best rom is the one according to your needs...
Is the same to ask wich is the best cooker, or, wich is the best theme...

Hi! I'm newbe so if i did smth wrong, take my apologises.
Can anyone who already got official Froyo on his Legend (i've read that Vodafone got it) show how it looks without HTC Sence? I think that the pure froyo's design, like on Nexus One, is the best and i will be very disappointed if HTC will add something to froyo for Legend. Thank you!

2. look around a bit, Custom ROMs as Juicy, CM 6 and other(senseless) ROMs are what you want..

[ROM INQUIRY] Android Revolution HD

Hey guys,
I'm pretty experienced Android ROMs developer and want to ask, if you want me to cook Android Revolution HD series ROM for you? I do not own Incredible S but my ROMs are based always on stable official bases, they have no visual changes just confirmed tweaks and other stuff like su, busybox etc..
Here is my ROM for Desire HD - LINK.
I'm already downloading latest RUU but before I start to work on it I need to know if you are interested.
Sorry for posting this question in development forum, I hope it will be forgiven. If there will be positive reaction I will change first post and place here my ROM.

if we got more roms for our IS we have more possibilities to select the right one. its a shame that u wont customize the visual thing, like u said, but with a rom like yours, i am sure there will be a few devs how like to edit your rom visually xD that would be great !! xD

you should build it anyway, its allways nice to see some different roms right?

Apache14 was building kernels for my Desire HD / Inspire 4G ROMs. I haven't decide yet how it will working in this case

I'll drop him a line then. If I can finally get this thing to build you might be able to use that

Yes, your ROM for the DHD almost made me get that phone, but I just prefer the 4.0" screen form factor better.

Beginning to regret purchasing this phone...

Im sure I'm not the only one who's thinking this but I really wish I purchased the original mini. The reason for this is the only ROM at the moment for this device is CyanogenMod and nobody seems to be making one. Anybody else feel this way?
Also just in case are you involved or do you know anyone making ROMs for this phone?

Thank God that we have at least cm.... I agree with you, and since I have this phone from July, I have been asking for roms since the first day, but this device isn't so popular yet... Vi there are kernels and mods, better than nothing. This forum sometimes is dead for weeks, I wouldn't be surprised that there is no interest in development

Absolutely.... Preferably lollipop xD

@Will972 is one of the biggest contributors, as he gave us stock roms for every update

A sense rom based on lolipop will be planed soon on 2015 .. we must first have a kernel dev for a possibility to have it earlier but we don't have it.
The only thing we can have is a custom rom with 4.4.2 base

I just miss xposed since there is no idiot rooting guide.

I will make a rom with some stuff like xposed and sense 6.0 toolbox and maybe harman kardon mod instead of boomsound

I know rooting a HTC is not as easy as rooting a Samsung but still it is not hard. The most annoying part is unlocking the bootloader, but even this is easy, but killing time. Once this is done, you need 2 files: twrp recovery

You are not the only one thinking this, read my Statement(s) under Johann A. Sutter in this Forum!
I have made the same experience, for some reason or another it is obviously, that it is not so interesting (or to complicated) for developers to keep them busy with this device!
Good Luck, I'm keeping myself busy, to buy another one, looking before, if there are already valuable possibilities, to be my own Boss about my property.

Hi guys, I recently unlocked the recovery of my phone after the warranty ended.
I really don't feel the need to change the rom because I really like my stock Sense rom, the only rom I would like to try is one with the new Android Marshmallow. Are there any Marshmallow roms already for our phone?

This was already asked a few days ago so I'll simply answer the same thing:
Android 6.0 isn't even fully deployed to nexus devices yet, you'll have to be much more patient . We will probably see 6.0 CM or AOSP roms relatively soon. I'm not expecting any 6.0 rom based on HTC Sense UI. CM13 development started about 10 18 days ago btw.

You can easily find that there isn't any 6.0 roms yet by visiting the One (M7) Android Development and the One (M7) Original Android Development sections of this forum. When there will be one available, its will probably be really easy to find in these sections :good:

As you can search on XDA. Now there are plenty of cm13 unofficial roms for the htc one m7 that bring marshmallow. Sadly I haven't seen any that are based on sense, however, there are many ways to get CM to look like htc-sense if that helps. Do note that the roms have bugs. Yes I have run the custom roms and find them to be very stable but couple of bugs such as FC when taking picture and phone rebooting when plugging in headphones really annoy me because i like to listen to music and take a lot of pictures.
