I think its very possible but it is a matter of devs bothering to do that. Only viable way to do that really is dual boot and thats always hard, why buy an android phone only to completely replace the OS.... but then again tegra has always had problems so maybe there will be a compatibility issue there.

We are not alone

Just found out that the the top trio of LG phone: O4X, Op Vu, and Op G apparently have their bootloader locked

Maybe we can join forces with Op Vu and Op.G users to push the manufacturer to change their mind.

Optimus G and O4X are not that different.. but I believe there will be much more devs for the OG, so if one of them manages to hack the bootloader, perhaps his method will be ported to the O4X ?
Optimus G is running a Qualcom Snapdragon S4 chipset, while 4X is running Nvidia Tegra 3. There won't be any cross-develpments I guess.

Ubuntu Touch Port

Is it possible to port Ubuntu Touch to the TP? I think it'd be as awesome OS on this tablet. I used it on my Galaxy Nexus and it was nice but didn't have mobile data or calls. Since our device only needs WiFi that wouldn't be an issue. Just wondering if anyone has any plans to port it.

This is the dev section, not the question section...
Look in other development where there is dev for this ongoing

It probably wont be a fully working daily driver until Canonical releases a fully working daily driver though. So unless you want to have it for developing, dont bother.

[REQUEST] Port to Pantech Flex

Can someone? The phone lacks roms and I feel as though this would be a giant step for the phone and further rom development for this phone. I don't have the resources to do so (I have Ubuntu, just lacking a good Internet.)

Well, speaking that the volt only has one speaker, it won't even be much of a difference that this phones besides the mounting location.
But alas, I highly doubt anyone without a lot of skills would be able to pull off a swap like this.
