Hi guys,
I'm on newest firmware and have installed teamviewer quicksupport from playstore.
Although it installs just fine when I remote in from another PC the screen is just black. Has anyone had any luck. I would love to be able to support friends this way.
Would you also suggest I try some VNC software?

I just bought the chromecast last night, it updated itself.
I see that there only like 5 apps that work with it through
the Chromecast android app.
Are there other apps (developer or google) that can be sideloaded?
-if so, where can i get them?
Do i have to be rooted and/or use flashcast?
I figured there would be a way to play
games through it or have full app support
through android or Chrome Browser.
(Im not a complete n00b with android, ive been in the
android community since the OG Droid- Fascinate- Droid3-
Galaxy nexus, so i should have a grasp at some technical
stuff.)
Thanks in advance!
You cannot use flashcast because you had to have one the original(?) firmware version because it had a vulnerable bootloader. You would have had to root and then block all OTA updates. RemoteCast (Beta) is an alternate app.
need help now ...

Im also having a problem...
So i got it working on my phone no prblem.
My laptop on the other hand, idk.
I installed the windows app and it finds it,
but Chrome Browswer blocks the Extension
and says my computer is not supported...
Its windows 7 64-bit... chrome is updated,
idk whats going on.
EDIT: Its working after the computer did Windows updates... weird but true.
Thanks anyways haha
So what's the point of remote cast? It's the same thing as chrome cast app.... So it seems.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda app-developers app
No no - Remote Cast is a lightweight remote control only for whatever you're casting.
Still in beta, needs to support more apps but very cool for what it is.

Alright Fellas:
Before gettitng trounced I want to let everyone know that I did my search on the forum as well as all over the internet to get guidance and finally have to break down and just ask the question.
I have the latest firmware on my Gear with Nova Luancher running fine. But I have the paid version from the Playstore and for the life of me I cannnot figure out how to get the paid version onto my watch. I know how to do port over APKs via the ADB process. SO I looked into APK Downloader and other apps to get the Play store app over. But those vehicles do not handle paid apps, even tho I have paid for the app.
SO, can anyone help me figure out how to get the app from the Playstore onto my watch. I do not know how to do tethering and perhaps that is the way to go. I am open to suggestions
Do a trial of wondershare mobilgo for android. Google it and u will be uploading pass to Gear in no time.

Hello guys, could anyone provide me with a Facebook 5.2 patched xap? The reason I need this is to install it on the windows phone emulator, I am going to demonstrate an app in the local imagine cup soon, and my app requires facebook authentication and it does that using the facebook app. And as you all know the emulator doesn't allow you to install apps from the store. So if anyone could help me I'd be grateful.
Thanks
I've been using teamviewer quicksupport to control my sister's samsung galaxy 5 from my pc (200 miles away). Its a great app to assist family/friends who are inexperienced android users. I couldn't get teamviewer quicksupport to install on the nook hd+ (Error package file is invalid) There are many programs that allow the tablet to control the pc, but the reverse is harder to find. There is airdroid, but it doesn't allow you to see exactly what is on the screen. Has anyone here have found such a solution?
Update: I've switched from ART to Dalvik and Teamviewer is able to install. The problem is can't install the add-on that is tablet specific so it still wont run. In the past week I also had problem with facebook and yahoo mail. Switching to Dalvik has solved all these problems. I'm on CM11 M12. Hope that info helps out.
What OS (B&N, CM) and version are you running?

Well recently my fire updated itself to 5.3.3 without my permission. Now Firefox will not connect to the internet despite also updating to the latest. I was using a User Agent Switcher to fool some websites into thinking I am using a PC version of firefox but I disabled it. Anyone know what is wrong there?
