Well recently my fire updated itself to 5.3.3 without my permission. Now Firefox will not connect to the internet despite also updating to the latest. I was using a User Agent Switcher to fool some websites into thinking I am using a PC version of firefox but I disabled it. Anyone know what is wrong there?

Im trying to browse youtube on the desktop version. Im using dolphing 4.2, stock rom with autonooter. Although i change the user agent. I keep getting the mobile version. I've also tried the stock browser and skyfire getting the same result with any of them
One of the websites that i use for work requires Internet Explorer to view. Is there a compatible android browser or a way to trick it?
try with firefox beta and use the phony add-on. Then change user agent to IE.
Currently using a Nexus S 4G running Pete's GPA 19 and current Pete kernel. Reading news reports on the new Cluzee app which appears to be a Siri "like" app for android.
When I try to download the app from the web based market it states that my device is not supported. Anyone running the same phone/equipment as I able to run Cluzee?
TIA - Cabotcat
Patience is a virtue...... the program is now downloading and installing.
cant find the app in market, on ICS in UK.
I accessed market.android.com on my laptop. After logging in with my google credentials I simply indicated the device on which I wanted the program installed. The web site did the rest. However be advised that I am not on ICS.
The android browser does not keep me logged in. Whenever i close the browser, it logs off sites I was logged into and so very annoying. I have had this problem since I did the software update throught the settings. The Firefox or other browsers don't give this problem. But i find the android browser simpler and better to use. How do I fix it? I obviously tried clearing cache and passwords and all the options in there.*
I'm using a galaxy tab 8.9''.

Have you tried the chrome browser? It is overall similar to the android browser (thanks google!). It may help keep you logged in.
I just bought the chromecast last night, it updated itself.
I see that there only like 5 apps that work with it through
the Chromecast android app.
Are there other apps (developer or google) that can be sideloaded?
-if so, where can i get them?
Do i have to be rooted and/or use flashcast?
I figured there would be a way to play
games through it or have full app support
through android or Chrome Browser.
(Im not a complete n00b with android, ive been in the
android community since the OG Droid- Fascinate- Droid3-
Galaxy nexus, so i should have a grasp at some technical
stuff.)
Thanks in advance!
You cannot use flashcast because you had to have one the original(?) firmware version because it had a vulnerable bootloader. You would have had to root and then block all OTA updates. RemoteCast (Beta) is an alternate app.
need help now ...

I installed the windows app and it finds it,
but Chrome Browswer blocks the Extension
and says my computer is not supported...
Its windows 7 64-bit... chrome is updated,
idk whats going on.
EDIT: Its working after the computer did Windows updates... weird but true.
Thanks anyways haha
So what's the point of remote cast? It's the same thing as chrome cast app.... So it seems.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda app-developers app
No no - Remote Cast is a lightweight remote control only for whatever you're casting.
Still in beta, needs to support more apps but very cool for what it is.
