Unable to change screen when in call / after call end

I've got this issue and its driving my users nuts.
When your in a call, you cannot press the start key, or tap the start menu with the pen, you can minimise the call screen if you turn the device off and on in call, but you cant access the start menu. Also, once you've ended the call, you have to turn the device on and off a couple of times before you can use the start menu.
All devices are using the vanilla HTC ROM.
Any ideas how to fix it?

it doesn't help you, i suppose - but for reference this works fine on the TyTn II with vodafone UK ROM

[Q] Stuck in Silent Mode

Hello, this is my first post, but I've been checking out this site for awhile now.
I've been having trouble with my samsung captivate. Somehow when I left my phone charging overnight something went wrong and now my phone is stuck in silent mode. This is what I mean:
When I hold the power button and it says Silent Mode is ON:
I go to my sound settings and it says Silent Mode is OFF.
I do not get any sound
When I hold the power button and it says Silent Mode OFF
I go to my sound seetings and it says Silent Mode is ON
I do not get any sound even if I put the volume up to the highest setting
Things I've tried:
Hard Reset
Loading a new ROM (the newest Cognition)
3rd Party Sound App
None of these worked, so please help me if you've encountered this problem before/know what to do. I DO get sound with headphone and I can get it to vibrate, but I would like to get this fixed asap.

That was the first thing I tried (as stated in my post). That way and through settings.

I think its hardware related. They are going to send a new one. New questions though..
I reset with Odin. Would ATT notice that it previously was rooted? (aka is my warranty still valid)

[Q] Captivate Haptic Feedback issue

Hi guys,
Just had a quick question for someone else that has a physical samsung captivate running a froyo rom ....
Can you please go to settings>sound>Vibration intensity , turn it all the way up,
come back to the main menu and press the menu button. Does it vibrate twice?
Whereas if you go somewhere where there is no command invoked for a double press, e.g. if you go into settings and press it, does it only vibrate once?
My menu button randomly presses itself and Im outside the return period so wanted to know if this is an issue with my phone or normal behaviour.

[HELP] Home key stop working

Hi, last night my T-mobile G1 hangs up, I have to remove the battery to bring the phone back. After that the "home" key stop working and I couldn't receive calls any more(is not carrier related, I can call and s/r sms). In recovery mode the home key works fine. Also some features like airplane mode have dissapear.
I have cyanogen 6.0. I t
Please if someone can help I would appreciate that.

Did you try reflahing you rom or triying a diferent one remeber to wipe before you flash

[Q] Power Button Ends Call - Stop it!

Hi,
I have the latest LG G2 stock OS, rooted. The problem I'm having us that the power button automatically ends calls. I checked both the accessibility setting and call setting menus, and both have this feature disabled. I ran the phone in safe mode, and the issue persists.
How can I stop my phone from doing this? I unfortunately keep hanging up on people.
