Anyone having problems with Netflix on MM? - Galaxy Tab S2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I've got mm on my 810 and I'm finding problems with Netflix? It won't play most things and comes up with an error message. I've done all the usual things to try and fix and it's not Netflix itself as I tried the same programmes on my nexus 6p and it streamed no problem

I had issues with netflix. I tried resetting my tab and bricked it. My error was 0013. I did stumble onto a solution here somewhere about changing a file name. Can not find it on my phone.

Play Store Problems?

Anyone else having problems with the play store tonight? I did DG's root earlier, but I think it's unrelated because I didn't notice it until tonight.
I've tried clearing cache and data, in the play store and google services. I've even tried removing and adding my google account with mutliple reboots.
It fixed my original error [RPC:S-5:AEC-0], and now I'm just getting a server error (500).
Anyone else notice this? I want to know if it's google and I need to be patient, or if it's just me and I need to keep troubleshooting.
Thanks!
I also have this issue

I have the same issue... I have tried clearing app data, doing a restore and even removing all play store updates. Nothing seems to work. I am going to keep trying, but if anyone figures out how to fix it, please post how. :good:
Just tried on a non-rooted phone and it gets the same error

I was 10 seconds from starting a thread myself, getting the 500 error myself as well. I tried all of the following:
1. Go to settings -> Applications -> Manage -> All -> Market
2. Press the Force Close button, press OK to acknowledge this is what you want to do.
3. Press Clear Cache, press OK if it asks you to confirm your actions
4. Exit the screen
5. Go to settings -> Accounts and Sync
6. Click your Google account
7. Press Remove at the top right corner. Press OK to confirm this is what you want to do.
8. Exit the screen
9. Launch Market
10. The Market app will ask you for an account. Put your Google information back in.
11. Once you put the account info in, you'll get the disclaimer. Press OK.
12. Now try to download an app.
But you said you tested it on a non-rooted phone and it gets the same error at least puts me at ease a little. Are you on a custom FW or Stock?
I am on the new root. I have an s4 one another line and it is not rooted at all and it is getting the 500 error

Just checked a couple of popular youtube videos for this issue and the comments sections are filling up with this same issue!! Example below, so its not just us and thankfully not because I rooted!

I'm convinced it's on Google's end. I started having problems on my 1st gen Nexus 7 tablet. After fighting it for a half hour I decided to see if my Evo 4G phone was also having problems, and sure enough it is too.
Searching google for "google play store error" discussions in the last 24 hours I am seeing lots of other people chattering about problems too.
Me too, stock

Z1s YouTube issues, anyone?

I just recently got my xperia Z1s and it's also my first Sony phone period. I'm really enjoying it but all of a sudden my YouTube videos play about half way through then stop and go back to the beginning again? It never makes it past that half point. I've only noticed this with YouTube so it could be an app issue, vevo plays fine, but idk cause YouTube was working fine until yesterday and today as well. My other devices are playing videos from YouTube fine so I'm puzzled as to wether this is an app problem specific to the Z1s or if it's my phone itself maybe?? I don't have too much longer to make a return. If anyone has this issue as well please let me know, or any suggestions? I already tried clearing cache and data as well. That's about all I can do since I'm not rooted of course.

I open a thread about this since 4.3 rollout but no one cared/had this issue..I cant skip to an unloaded part of the video, only way to do this is restoring to factory version on YouTube

So you wouldn't say it's a problem with the phone itself then Right? Most likely just YouTube or some weird YouTube bug?

I hope its the youtube app, since I noticed the issue there's been like 4 updates but bug still there, my other devices have no problems. Also worth noting that in-app players (for example when I open a vid in flipboard or pocket) don't suffer from this

Its the youtube app.
Read the comments about the app...https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.youtube&hl=nl
I reverted back to the old ap by removing the updates in "apps" and the problem is gone.
I have the same issue. I try to reverted back to the old one

Reverting back to the old one does work, but still it kind of grinds my gears America! Lol. We should be able to use the latest version of YouTube on a high end phone like this. YouTube needs to fix this ASAP.

Music dl

Anybody know any good apps to dl music? I use to use a couple different ones but they all seem to suck now. Frostwire use to be good. Anybody have any recommendations? Tia.

I got this downloading app from the android Play Store a while ago and they have since removed it about 1-1.5 years ago. It's pretty good at locating mp3s and so far have seen it is the most efficient way at finding music on the go instead of searching in google. Since then i kept the APK backup. Enjoy!

Not sure why it deleted but we'll try mega upload! Here you go!

I use Deezer to listen to albums offline, but it doesn't allow you to save items in a standard file format (I'm guessing due to piracy concerns).

A really weird problem here, guys. Official YouTube app freezes very often, once it happened, it doesn't work properly until reboot. No other problems with another similar apps. No root. SM-T715. Stock MM. MM came at the beginning of June (via wi-fi). Any suggestions, folks?

Stock nothing ever rooted or installed,

If this just stopped working without changes to the device (OTA update, app update or something), then I would contact the xpressbet customer support. I'm assuming they control access to features including streaming of races to account holders.
