Anyone else buy it with their P9000?
Just wondering how its working with your phone. Mine is terrible, disconnects / reconnects all the time. As you are not supplied a lead (I have many around the house) I have even tried different leads and still does it.
I use my sons cheap wireless pad he got of eBay as I ran out of patience with the elephone one and works flawlessly
do you have the name or link to the ebay item ?
I bought it at same time as buying my P9000 - the individual item is here: (its Elephones original wireless charging pad)
http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Orig...9000-CE-FCC-ROHS-Helio-P10-4/32655464695.html
You may find it cheaper or more local elsewhere, as this is via china. Mind you, my advice is just buy another wireless pad. As said above, it isn't working to good with my P9000
I have a few QI charger pads floating around the house, wasn't going to fork out more money for another if any worked... They all work brilliantly.
Just for info
I tried it on a samsung pad and it worked fine
I have an elephone pad, and it works... but the blue led light never turns off when charging, and it's very annoying, especially when trying to sleep.
Can anyone tell if this is a problem with my pad or if it's the normal operation.
thank you in advance.

I has been searching and didn't found this option. It seems that the blue led light of the wireless pad is not configurable throught the phone options.
It is .harlequin led settijg

No, that is for our notification pulse. That blue pulse on the touch button(back, home and recents). Wireless pad is unconfigurable via the phone.
Has anyone tried to take apart the pad and just disconnect the LEDs? Will the charger work afterwards?

Anyone know where to buy an lg style i that comes with a wall charger?Everything on ebay only came with a travel charger. Black would be nice, but thats not really important. Any feedback would be appreciated.
The travel charger is a wall charger. Incidentally, any mini-usb charger like the ones that come with most headsets will work.
I'm using the same charger for my X7500 and LG Style-i.
At home I plug the wall charger of my X7500 to the dock station and I place the X7500 in the dock station then I plug a USB cable to the dock and plug the Style-i to that cable so I'm charging both at the same time with only one wall charger.
At work or while I travel I use a spare wall charger I got and I charge the Style-i and the X7500 using the same charger, but I charge the X7500 first and then the Style-i (or viceversa). When traveling I use to charge the Style-i just using a USB cable connected to any PC and the X7500 with its charger or both with the X7500 charger.
USB power plugs really rocks.
Thanks for the feedback, I bought a black one on ebay. They have several for $10 plus about $6 shipping.

Anyone know diffent button combinations to activate things on Lg Style I? I found some, we'll start with the obvious ones.
1.Power on\off by holding 'end' button.
2.Reset hole on back. As far as I can tell this does nothing more than turn the thing off.
3.Adjust microphone gain by holding 'CLR' for about 3 seconds.
4.When conected, dial last number dialed by holding 'send' button.
5.When connected or not, hold 'CLR' button for about 5 seconds, device reads 'pairing'. On mine, I can't get this to do anything other than simply connect to my tilt and athena. Maybe we could connect the style I to athena, and pair style I with bluetooth vibrating bracelet? Just a thought.
6.When connected, press te 'send' button to activate voice command.
7.When not connected, press 'send' to look for devices.
try to read the manual ?

Thanks, mine didn't come with a manual. I don't know if they were displays or surplus, but mine was in perfect condition minus owners manual. And it came in a ziploc bag.

Thanks for the update. I tried the application from JETware, but that did not work either.
Hello all,
I have strange problems while charging (wall charging only) my NOOKcolor: the touch screen is not responsive (either at all or very sluggish). On home screen I could launch programs, but not rearrange (drag), have to type very slow in order to get input, on lock screen cannot even unlock
If disconnecting the charger (from wall or cable from nook) it starts to work perfect.
My NOOKcolor is fully rooted, but the problem remains after un-root/factory rest.
Anyone else seen this behavior?
Any solution/suggestion?
Thanks,
Darky
Your problem is not unique and has been noted by many others. No fix was discussed yet though.
Mine doesn't do it. I saw on google it's one of the possible problems with a new unit. You might want to reflash to stock and exchange it.
I've noticed mine does it while playing Pocket Legends. If I have it on the charger, it will automatically tap-click on the screen when I'm using the joystick, so it starts to open all sorts of menus. So I pretty much can't play the game when charging.
Hello Everyone!
So i'm really stuck over here. I have an international Samsung Galaxy Note N-7000 that is working but with a black screen!
First of all i want to discuss exactly what i have done:
1.i had a problem with the charging port where it works sometimes and most of the times doesn't. So i decided to order a new charging port to replace the existing one.
2. When i received the new charging port i instantly started to dissemble the device (The device was working perfectly before starting replacement)
3. After i removed the old one and installed the new, i turned on the device and it showed only a black screen, then after some time i saw the touch buttons light, but still the screen is black:crying:
4. so i decided to return back the old charging port and this time when i turned on the device it sounded like it's booting and working but still with a black screen. The phone even received call and the touch screen is working but with black screen.
What do you guys think has just happened to my phone? could the new charging port cause any problems with the motherboard?
i'm really stuck and don't wanna go to a service center
I have recorded a video of the problem. Please see it below
since i'm new over here, i'm not allowed to post youtube link.
please head to youtube and type my username and watch the video : nadeaa0a
thank you very much
My younger brother always liked to disassemble things with a hammer wondering after why it wasn't possible to assemble it the other way around.
It took him a few years to understand that real knowledge of things is a clear advantage.
Go to a service center and get help from a professional instead of making it ...

maybe you disconnected the wire you were changing ports ! don't worry and don't freak out just take to any shop and they will check it i don't think the screen is burnt because if it was it would be more expensive ! go to any shop and ask them to change ports and check the screen
for what you described, my best guess would be either you unplugged the lcd and didnt plug it back in properly.... or you damaged the flex for the lcd... the charging flex wouldnt cause the problem... just inspect the lcd flex and plug for damage... if no visible damage plug it in again and try it again... lets hope its just not plugged in right...
I have the same problem
Hi,
I have the same problem. I had never disassembled my phone and the screen slowly turned purple and started blackening out. It was fully functional. This I knew because I connected it to my Windows 7 computer and used Android Commander. I ordered a new screen complete with bezel etc. I have two batteries, the first didn't even charge after I put it in the phone (it had drained totally during the wait for the new screen), the second was partially charged and allowed the screen to boot. It is however behaving like the first screen did before it went black, that is purple. I am sure I have not done anything wrong with the connections. Could it be the batteries? or the adapter flex? I just hope it is not the mainboard. It is not on warranty and we don't have that many honest phone specialists around where I live. I am almost sure others have experienced the same problem and someone on xda knows what the problem is. If you do I would be indebted.

it shows as color black, or nothing (like locked device)? I used to face this problem too with my infuse 4G, but it was because of installing custom rom. Had problem with few rom i installed but nothing happen on my stock one. If your device is just not lighting up(like locked device), then i guess because of ROM, but i'm not sure yet. But if it shows "color black", then i don't know.
THIS IS NOT A SOFTWARE BUG. Its the Screen flex or the ribbon. Disassemble the back part, and take a look at the flex or the ribbon connector of the screen, clean the conector with a tooth cleaner with alcohol and let it dry for a few minutes. Put it back on and mount the back part again. Test it, it should work.
Same thing here: changed the usb port, booted fine, had issues with the sim, turned off took it apart again to check, put it back on and black screen.
Yea having the same issue here, dismantling the usb module and put in new one, power up black screen!! The menu and back button did lights up, and the phone is working too, can hear the booting tone, anyone got any solution for that yet?

I have unplugged and replug back few times, same result. Guess most probably i have damaged the flex cable. Replacement part seems too pricy to change, rather buy a new phone.

I keep my phone docked near my bed when I go to sleep, and I like keeping my room on super darkness..
Unfortunately the phone ruins that for me..
The orange LED for charging is perhaps accepted but if I receive a message / whatsapp / email .. the blinking LED would make my room to an awesome party club..
Is there a way to SHUSSH it out?
to put it on a silence mode or something that when I'm docking you and its nighty time, you don't show me the damn lights..
I'm sleeping you stupid! your suppose to be smart-phone. aren't ya..?
I tried to use Tasker app for this,
Condition: Docked + proper times..
But couldn't find task that remove LED lights or something..
How about you experts?
Could you think of any solution for this please?
Help will be extra appreciated!

settings/display/pulse notification light. check it off. that should stop the blinking, but doesn't turn off the red/orange/green charging light.
I know it isn't ideal but I keep a little bit of masking tape next to my dock, just stick it gently over the LED and boom...sorted.

You should see the extension lead next to my bed, it has some silly little LEDs in it to tell you which socket is powering something...I gave up and covered the thing in tape, all except the actual holes.

This really seems to be a problem with several Sony devices. I don't understand what Sony is doing there ...
I'm currently searching all threads here but didn't find any working solution for a similar problem with a Sony Z3
I already invested a lot of time in finding a proper solution for the Z3, but maybe here someone found a solution in the meantime which would also help for the Z3?
Any tips highly welcome.
Just fyi.
I found Light Manager (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.koo.lightmanager) to solve the problem at least partially (see also http://forum.xda-developers.com/z3-compact/help/light-flow-t2889567/page3#post57060492)
What are we, savages? Duct tape over the phone? Unacceptable. You might as well smash it with a hammer. )))
Leaving joke aside I found your fix. I've tested it on my XZ stock rom. You need to be rooted and with xposed framework installed.
Module is called XLED. It allows you to control charging light, and per app setting. Tested with whatsapp, hangouts and pushbullet.
Install it, activate the module and reboot.
You can disable the led control anytime and reenable on the go without reboot. (it has the switch inside the app).
You're welcome.

Hey Sebi673,
Thanks a lot for the feedback. Your suggestion is great and it would help a lot if it would be my device which needs to be "fixed".
Though the problem is, that it is the device of my girlfriend and I would really like to avoid rooting her phone.
This is really something I should have remarked upfront. Sorry and thanks again for your feedback.
Best,
Tom
How do you install that XLED module?
My Xperia Z2 tablet is simply awful when you cannot turn off that damned led. 99% of the time it sits in the docking station acting as a digital photo frame and the led is blinding at night and distracting during the day.
Try this plastered app - works quick and we'll on my z5 compact:
Disable Charging LED
Hi guys, so I think I've identified what might be causing this issue but I want to see if this is specific to my device or Samsung in general.
When I'm using Google Maps in landscape orientation and charging wirelessly, the hardware buttons would have random phantom presses which causes it to leave navigation or open recent apps. I have a tempered glass protector and I thought that might be the issue but it's not. I've used two wireless chargers (one desktop and one in the car) to see if it's the charger but even with the desktop charger, I still see the bug.
Can someone test this out? Use any wireless charger and Google Maps in navigation landscape mode and see if it bugs out. It'll take a min or two to have the phantom press.

I am not sure how quickly or frequently you see the issue. I watched my phone for 6 minutes and nothing happened.
