Htc Desire 626 stock boot.img - Desire 626 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

The recent update to SuperSU (2.72) left me with no root. Thankfully Chainfire has released a fix for this (2.74), but the stock boot IMG is needed to re-root. If anyone could pull this from a TWRP backup or somewhere else, it would be greatly appreciated.
Here is a link to the updated SuperSU (2.74)

If your looking to regain root try this method. first uninstall Supersu if it's installed..reboot phone..and follow the steps here HTC Desire 626 root

Thanks. Worked perfectly!

Edit: [Q] SuperOneClick + Recovery for IS after rooting

Hi,
I just rooted my s-off phone with SuperOneClick.
Now it would be nice to have clockwork available
I guess I need a special recovery for this phone and cannot use any other custom recovery for another model?
Should I use the one from GoAPK or is there a better method?
Could I compile one myself or is that very complicated?
Thank you!
Max

Just installed llnhhy's PG32IMG.zip. Worked like a charm. Thank you very much llnhhy!
Now I got my OTA updated stock rom rooted without any modifications other than su, busybox and recovery.

Click to collapse
Just install root again, same as you did it last time.

[Q] Problem Rooting

Hey folks,
I've just recently done the following:
1. installed the 4.3 OTA update for the Sprint HTC One.
2. Unlocked my bootloader via process provided by HTC
3. installed Clockwork Mod Recovery, Touch version
4. used CWMR to install super user for root
Well, the application is there, but I don't have root. Root explorer says I don't have root, and Root Checker says I don't have root.
I have no clue why I don't have root, or what to do to get it that I haven't already done.
Help?
EDIT: Downloaded a newer copy of SuperSU, and that seems to have done the trick.

Can't root (3.62, stock)

Hey guys,
I've just received my replacement phone and I'm trying to route it.
It came with 4.3 already installed.
I've unlocked the bootloader and installed CWM but want to s-off so I'm trying to root my stock (Three UK branding) ROM.
I've trying flashing superuser an superSU from recovery (CWM and TWRP) and they flash successfully and install onto my phone but don't actually give me root access!?
It also won't let me update the binaries in SuperSU
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.
Edit - I'd somehow managed to download an outdated version on SuperSU. It's working now. Silly me.

Can't Root using TWRP...?

Hi guys, I've unlocked the bootloader, installed TWRP and although it sticks a SuperSU app on the phone, it doesn't actually root it like its supposed to...
Can someone point in the direction of a tutorial to root through adb/fastboot please.....or offer me a fix/solution....please.
Hi eskimosound, it's easy download the superuserSU zip file from the net...just Google it.
You want the 2.7. version because the 2.8 one is buggy....once downloaded just boot into recovery and install it from there...easy when you know how!! Good luck with S-Off, Sunshine wants you to relock the bootloader......after all that effort you put in!!!
Lol
