Hi,
I have K50-t3s and it is still running with the shop ROM. The phone is rooted and debloated.
Now I would like to setup cloud print. Problem is, in SETTINGS/SYSTEM there is no print section to setup. When I install google cloud print and try to activate, the app always fc.
I am looking for a solution, but without installing a custom ROM.
Please give me some advice
Kind regards
J.

Hi....I have the same phone, rooted, with stock android 6 and am having the same issue
Can anyone advise on how to rectify this problem
Thanks
Try to factory reset your android and if possible try to change your rom. Before rom change try unrooting your phone i think it is some sort of malware. Factory reset must help.
And it is also possible in debloating some system files were deleted. I would recommend you to install a custom rom and you said you cannot, so flash your own stock Android

Good morning Friends, First of all, my greetings and respect to all
I have a note 5 Model N920T in Firmware 5.1.1 stock
I sold it Released by box, therefore the process that Find out for that was that it is put a Custom Kernel Autoroot, in this case the SkyHigh kernel and from there with a box the following release of Band ..
I am very interested in personalizing and modifying my note 5, I have always done the same from S1 of samsung and all notes, but due to FRP and DRK is always better to prevent than to regret, I am also aware that there will always be risks for safer than Look like the Procedure ..
Here is the doubt, if I wanted to Modify the Rom Stock had to YES or YES to make Root to the Device, something that I already gave it doing to Release the Band!
But I can not make a Hard Reset from the device in Settings because it sends me to the Recovery Original and in the Lower Part the Legend of" DM-Verity Failed"
I do not want to do Hard Reset from the Recovery doing Wipes, that's clear ..!
That is Normal in this case as I indicate ..?
*
1_ Should I ignore the message and give the next step that is to install TWRP ..?
2_ Should I Reinstall the Original Stock Software that is Installed on my Device using Odin and start again by doing the root myself from the Start ..?
I must clarify that the system works without problems in 5.1.1 but I need to upload Nougat and if it is with a custom Rom Much Better ..!
Please all help is very grateful ..!
Greetings from Ecuador..!
Hi,
I got a Mi 5 two weeks ago. The hardware of this phone is awesome but unfortunately I discovered that it was flashed with a fake ROM and I didn't like it.
I was able to restore official Chinese ROM, and then I did an upgrade to the latest MIUI 8.2.2.0 (Nougat). The problem is that, besides the language problem, Gapps were not working well with chinese ROM. So I unlocked the bootloader and upgraded to the latest Global ROM and so far so good. It works great, even Google apps.
Today I installed and app called Koodous, that detects malware, and it detected a system app called SpacesCore (com.securespaces.android.settings) as malware (but I got no more details on what type of malware).
My questions are:
1. can be a false positive?
2. can malware be still on the phone after flashing the official ROM and resetting to factory defaults?
3. if it's not a false positive, how can I remove this? Obviously flashing a new ROM and resetting is not enough. Rooting?
Regards,
Kurt.-
Hi,
about 2 years ago I rooted my S2 Galaxy Tab (T719) and now I would like to upgrade from Android 6.0.1 to Android version to 7 or 8. I have googled for instructions on how to upgrade a rooted S2 Tab but did not find anything useful (most info is on OTA upgrades which no longer works on rooted devices). Could someone please post step-by-step instructions (please bear in mind that I only ever deal with this kind of thing once every 2-3 years so I do not have much experience). I have TWRP v 3.0.2 installed (do I need to update this as well?) and the tablet is not encrypted (so hopefully I won't have to wipe the system partition and re-install all the app?!?). Thanks.
I also noticed that there is now a huge variety of ROMs out there. How can one know which ones are trustworthy? The main reason I rooted the tablet was to be able to increase privacy (control app permissions with XPrivacy). So I do not want to install some custom ROM that maybe contains spyware or other compromising features. Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated. Given my motivation (privacy) for rooting, would it maybe be better to go back to Stock ROMs (i.e. non rooted) and simply control web access via netguard (by preventing net access for some apps, they may still spy on my contacts, location, or email but cannot phone home to transmit the information)? At least I would still get OTA updates because being excluded from the OTA channel also poses a security risk in itself I suppose. Ok so any advice would be appreciated.
Thank you in advance!
There is no official Android 8 for our device. If you want 8 or 9 you have to install a custom ROM like LuK1337's LineageOS port. It is as safe as LineageOS is by itself on any device. Only problem you might have then is that calling is not possible anymore for now, but LTE works. If you want to use LOS, you HAVE to format data because it's not compatible at all. If you wanna stay on official Android you might keep it. Installing is done by flashing the official firmware with the correct country code over Odin. This will remove TWRP at first so you have to reflash it by Odin afterwards. For firmware download I always use: https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-tab-s/general/tool-samfirm-samsung-firmware-t2988647 and Odin is found by google. If you wanna got the way to LOS you have to do all the steps I mentioned before too anyways to have a recent Modem firmware and bootloader. In that case you just have to flash LOS and OpenGAPPS by TWRP and delete /data aka Factory reset.
Regardless what you do, after ODIN is done, you HAVE TO boot into TWRP immediately to keep it from being removed by official firmware. While you are in there anyways you can install magisk to keep it from encrypting /data
Many thanks emuandco. So I guess I will stick with the Android 7 as I do not want to reformat the tablet and reinstall all the apps. I have started to download the Android 7 stock ROM, but it is taking quite long so in the meantime just to confirm, the steps to follow are:
1- use odin to flash the stock ROM (no steps required prior to this? I simply overwrite the existing ROM? I suppose that I will loose root then and need to re-root the device using the standard procedure as explained here: http://www.samsungsfour.com/tutoria...nougat-7-0-using-cf-auto-root-all-models.html ?)
2- use odin to flash TWRP (I will need the newest version I guess and cannot use the same as for Android 6?)
3- boot into recovery mode to ensure that TWRP does not get overwritten
4- done
Is this correct? Do I then need to reinstall Xposed, SuperSU and Xprivacy or will they be preserved?
Thanks again!
P.S.: BTW, I also found these instructions: https://forum.xda-developers.com/tab-s2/development/twrp-3-0-2-1-galaxy-tab-s22016-sm-t713-t3390627 which are slightly different from http://www.samsungsfour.com/tutoria...nougat-7-0-using-cf-auto-root-all-models.html and require a wipe of the data partition. Does this mean that for an update to Android 7 I definitely do need to wipe the data partition? If this is the case then this would be a major disadvantage of rooting in the first place and maybe I simply flash the stock ROM and do not root at all but go the "netguard" route as mentioned in my original message?
I never used the official Firmware that much. Fist thing I did was going on LuK1337's nerves to get a port of LOS for it up and running So no clue if Samsung manages to keep /data but I guess so. Yeah, looks fine what you list there. You COMPLETELY overwrite ANY modification in kernel or /system, so reflash your mods and root (Magisk). I always recommend to uase the MOST recent TWRP. (https://dl.twrp.me/gts28velte/ should be it in your case).
Ah and looking at your manuals... Check OEM unlock just to be rather safe than sorry if things go mad.

Hello,
As a preface I have to say I'm less than a newbie in this matter.
My Huawei P8 Lite 2017 (PRA-LX1) had problems with lack of internal memory, so I decided to find a solution.
Following suggestions coming from some forums, I decided to root the phone to move the apps to an external microSD card and free the internal memory.
I got the unlock code and I used Multi-Tool for Huawei v.8.0.7.1 to root the phone.
After rooting I found in my phone only few apps and even Google App Store and keyboard were missing. To fix this last problem I downloaded and installed Gboard apk and then Firefox (no browser ar all in the phone).
Nevertheless, I can't even setup the Google account in the phone because in account settings is not available any Google option.
I'd like to setup the phone to install the apps and then change partitions and move the apps to the external SD card.
These are the installations I applied via the Multi-Tool:
- TWRP-3.1.1-2_by_greatslon.zip
- SR1-SuperSU-v2.82.zip
Please, could you help me on try to fix this issue?
I'm available even to do everything from the beginning if better, but I need to fix this issue.
Thank you very much in advance for any help.
Bets regards,
GP
Hi,
You need to format data using eRecovery. Flash it back if you have twrp, format user data then flash twrp and root etc..

Could you write me the link to the original firmware ROM? If needed, how can I get the IMEI number for my phone from the TWRP? Is it possible? I think is needed to identify the single/dual sim model, is it right?
At the moment, after trying to restore the phone, I can only get access to the TWRP. The phone is bricked :'-(
Thanks,
GP

I recommend you to look at htc mania for a ROM (you can find the phone there as Huawei P9Lite 2017, altough I can't say for sure that the phones are exactly identical so I don't know if it will work for you but gsm arena says that they are the same phones with different names). I'm on mobile right now, sorry can't give you the link.
I need to ask you (unrelated to your problem), what command did you use when installing TWRP?

Hello Jhon_Locke,
first of all, thank you very much for your answer to my message. I'm going to check htc mania to try to fix my issue.
About TWRP installation, I used Multi-Tool for Huawei and Honor v. 8 to install TWRP in my phone, so I didn't use a direct command.
Thank you very much again!

Hey!
I Can't install lineageos 20.0 on my Mi Max 2 device
I used TWRP Recovery to install os but i couldn't install it ...
Please help !!!
I don't have a computer or i would have done adb sideload ....
I am posting this thread by my recovery tablet.!!!!
Hello, if I'm not mistaken I think the bootloader must be disabled to install the rom, did you disable it? If you already did it on the xiaomi cloud official page, you should do a complete wipe and try again.
There is something else that I have thought about, you say that you have a tablet, this could also be used to do the installation from it by connecting it to your mobile.
Tell us more details about how you carry out the process so that we can better guide you.

Thank you. But a thing to say that my recovery tablet is useless it's an broken touchscreen tablet which runs android 4.4 . That doesn't say that I don't have anything i do have a phone which runs Android 10 (Realme 3i).i tryed adb sideload using termux. but it shows sideload requires an argument. So I thought that I should use pixel experience recovery.but i did a complete wipe though so good night!☺ thank you☺
