Hello,
I am curious to know if there is any ROMs in the general Note 4 Development section (Snapdragon of course) that are compatible w T-mo variant. Is flashing T-mo specific ROMs more to keep certain features? Like wifi callin? My device is unlocked cuz I'm w ATT and I'm prettymuch just looking to explore other ROMs. Thanks!

This is something I have thought about myself.

Hi All,
In terms of which version of the NOTE 3 to buy, should i get the ATT one? in terms of development to the device.
I see that the android development forum is currently empty, are roms of other version (not ATT specific) are compatible with it?
thanks.

The AT&T note 3 currently has a locked bootloader. No flashing roms until someone finds a way to unlock the phone. People who seem to need to flash roms are buying the t-mobile one (which has an unlocked bootloader) and bringing it over to AT&T.
I have a rooted and flashed Att Note 3. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2474422

What he meant to say was flashed with stock root injected rom, NOT custom rom
Sorry did make it sound like custom Rom. Stock Rom with root access.

Honestly if you're looking for s-pen functionality plus some customization.. rooting plus wanum modules pretty much does the trick. It would be nice if we could flash roms but I don't miss it with all the features this phone has

I would buy the T-Mobile note 3 if you want to flash stuff and rom development. I've been running ATT on the T-Mobile phone for a while now and all is well.

This.
Root on the stock ROM is great, it allows you install must have apps like Greenify, DroidWall, AdAway, Root Explorer, and Wannum Xposed Framework. Plus is stable, being based off the official stock OS.
That's all you really need, and allows tons of control over the phone, without an actual ROM or need for unlocked bootloader.

Yes, if you have a tmobile or att SIM card. Lte won't work because the ls995 doesn't support their bands

Flash in recovery. Make sure you wipe cache, data, system and dalvic cache. This is only for Sprint phones. The link posted is a stock at&t Rom made to work on Sprint to use att network. As far as I know everything works but nfc

If you updated to kitkat then downgraded to 4.2.2 knock on will be broken. You need to go into the hidden service menu 3845#*950# and go to hw device test , touch test, then update touch firmware.

I'm sorry for a noob question, but I just got my hands on one of these, how do you flash the ROM on this? I saw someone claiming there were no custom recoveries, is this true? Mine is rooted so far..thanks in advance!
I have installed custom roms but this kind is new to me, ummm how do I install it? any help would be greatly appreciated.
Good day. I flashed this rom on my Sprint LS995 and now unable to get gsm connection. In settings network is grayed out. Is there a step by step process to get this rom working. If anyone else has had success using this rom on their LS995, can you explain what procedure you followed. Thanks in advance.

Any progress on the T-mobile rom for the Sprint LS995?
Okay, I did my obligatory search of the forums and of Google, but I've come up empty.
Is it possible to install Cyanogenmod 11 Nightlies on our beloved N900A using SafeStrap? I know one person has had reported luck (but I can't find the link, sorry), but they didn't elaborate on jack squat. A yes or no will suffice but an explanation would be nice.
Yours truly,
The Sphere.
AFAIK, we can't install AOSP ROMS on our version of the note 3 because at&t locked the boot loader. So, no, it wouldn't work for our variant.

OK I have the note 3 N900A, I have it rooted and twrp on it, what roms am I able to use? I have tried a few not 3 roms that are not specifically for the N900A but for different version and they boot up but just goes to a black screen.. The lights and sounds work but not the screen. So do I have to use N900A roms only or is there a certain way to get the other roms working?..

1. The 900A At&t Note 3 has its own threads for a reason.
2. Take a moment to research before doing something foolish. You'll end up with a very expensive brick. ..

The specific forum for the att note 3 in the devopment section. Any ROM in there will work for your phone. HOWEVER- please do some reading first related to what version and build number you are running. The precautions taken by Samsung and att to lock the phone down require specific steps to be taken based on what stock ROM you currently are using. All the info you need is in the att note 3 forum somewhere. Happy reading.

@J0386, it really depends on what you are looking for with a custom ROM. I am assuming by TWRP you mean safestrap.
I have tried several ROMs, including Dynamic, Dynamic Xtreme, FireKat and FireRom. I prefer a stock ROM, as close to AOSP as possible, with little to no bloatware. As such, I landed on Dynamic Kat Xtreme, which unfortunately is no longer supported. Dynamic Kat is a great ROM with fantastic customization, and FireKat is about as strong a ROM as you can get for an optimized experience, but it is heavy on the app side. So, what kind of ROM are you looking for?
I have been trying a few aokp roms but neither of the ones I tried would boot, they flashed fine but when they loaded the screen wouldn't Come on but then lights and sounds worked..
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Did you flash to the stock slot or to one of the others? Most of these only work when you flash to the stock slot. Also, some take several minutes to boot. I'm currently running Dynamic Kat Xtreme 1.0 with a few modifications and loving it!
As some will know, user arter97 has created a rom from note 5 dumps that is smoother and well optimized, but unfortunately only supports G920F. From my research, all the differences I can find between variants is the radio bands they use. Given that these can be changed by the app advanced signal status, would there be anything else to change when running unsupported roms? Good luck trying this with me

From what I know you need to have a 5.1.1 bootloader of which the ATT doesn't have . a
Unikernel is on g920a and that's 5.1.1, is kernel separate from bootloader?
