Try holding the power button and up and down volume button 4 seconds together then off then 4 seconds again... that will get you in where you can wipe your partition...

Are you in the bootloader screen or the recovery? To get to the bootloader pull the battery and hold the power and volume down buttons.
Sent from my HTC PH39100 using XDA

Vol. down?
Hello, I recently had the xposed framework on my rooted (but on stock rom) HTC one. I removed the framework, but when I restarted my phone, it got stuck at the logo screen and will not enter recovery from power + vol down, nor restart. What can I do to break out of this? It is not a cycle where the phone keeps booting, rather in just stays in one state.
Thanks in advance.
EDIT: When I hold the power + vol down keys, the back and home lights flash but nothing happens

Wha...how...I have no idea why this works, but it does, that's amazing!
However, it still freezes when i reboot. What do you suggest? Reflash the stock rom? I've read some thread that say an "erase cache" via ADB is necessary?
Reflash stock rom. If you removed framework, then it wont boot

Thank you both very much! Just wanted to say after sideloading the rom in TWRP everything is running okay!
I've just updated my HTC One to KitKat 4.4.2 (un-rooted and unlocked)and experiencing some lag. I want to clear system cache entering recovery mode but it ain't let me enter. Method I'm using is pressing power and volume down keys and selecting recovery mode but it get stuck on screen with cell phone on it.

If you hold the power button for 2 seconds the menu should pop up. Or try flashing a custom recovery.

Worked for me. Thanks a lot but can you please suggest me something? I'm experiencing some lag on my HTC One after update (from 4.2.2 to 4.3). I've cleared cache from recovery, is it okay or do I need to apply factory reset as well?

4.4 is faster than 4.3 unlock your bootloader and install a custom recovery and a Rom
I have a new HTC M8 form Sprint (it's the boss's phone) and since last night the phone will not boot. It is on the stock rom, not rooted and boot loader is locked. The phone won't HBoot, Fastboot or enter recovery (get the phone with the red triangle). Any ideas or help is appreciated.
What where you trying to do?
From your description it sounds like a brick.
If you can get into bootloader you could try to enter fastboot flash recovery recovery.img or put the recovery.img in a zip with correct android.txt zip it and name zip 0P6BIMG.zip and put that in root of external sdcard and boot to bootloader.
He wasn't attempting to do anything. The phone was on the charger overnight. Not sure if there was an update the was downloaded and installed overnight. Bu, as of right now it seems to be "bricked".
From the screen with the red triangle, what happens if you hold the power button down? Does it reboot? If so, when the screen goes black, try holding the volume down button and see if it will go into the bootloader. If so, you can try to RUU.

Shouldnt it be you hold volume up+ power it should reboot you, then volume down +power to boot to bootloader? I assume the same since it shows the default recovery (no ROM installed image)
I can't remember about the rebooting part. I know for a fact that if I reboot my phone I can hold volume down to get into bootloader once the screen goes black. I was stuck in the stock recovery the other day and can't recall offhand how I got it to reboot.

I have an htc one(m7) fully stock unrooted.
It is stuck on bootloop.. htc splash logo comes on for around 5 seconds and then reboots.
I tried getting into fastboot but it stays there for about 3 seconds and then reboots so I can't get to erase fastboot cache or flash new recovery or unlock the bootloader.
Help please anybody!!

So the bootloader is rebooting itself after 3 seconds? Not good at all....
Yes. Have tried everything including All button pressed for 30 seconds, volume down + power under a bright light. Nothing seems to work!
I had a htc one m7 for a year, unlocked and rooted with custom ROM and never had this kind of problem.

if the bootloader is rebooting itself, its most likely an hardware issue. You need at least a table bootloader to do anything. Sorry
Alright! Thank you for your response.
