Using CM13 and this update drivers, I noticed a graphical improvement. But with the BHB27 things got a little unstable.
I know the title says Marshmallow. Just checking, not for 5.1 Lollipop -- like CM12.1?
After using for several days only CM13 of 06/20 with this update in normal use I had no problems except some reboot to make calls. But playing heavy games like Real Racing 3 for a long time, the phone heating up a lot, and restarted. With the stock kernel everything is working great.

This release contains a developer preview of the user-mode driver binaries for Qualcomm Adreno 3xx/4xx GPU on Nexus 5, Nexus 6, and Nexus 7 devices running Google Android Marshmallow. It has been tested with Soak Test 4. This release is intended only for developers, and does not meet our customer release quality. Please refer to the included readme file for installation.
Install zip nexus 6 via TWRP will work perfectly in any Marshmallow ROM !!
The openGL ES has been updated to version 3.2!!!

As I said in a previous post, I decided not to use the kernel for now.
The newly released driver, despite the early stage of development, brings me more personal advantages and has been absolutely stable with the stock kernel.
I have no problem to wait for the graphics driver version that will be interesting to consider for the development of this kernel. My intention was to alert about the incompatibility and know the position of the developer.
This is it. Everything is ok.

Have you check the zip before flash it?
That is a Nexus 6 zip you are sharing, we don't have a Nexus 6, Moto doesn't build Maxx ROM like Google.
So resuming, on Maxx (Custom or stock ROM) the firmware folder is not on vendor folder it is at, etc/firmware, if you flash that you have two adreno firmware, and probably the one that is running is the Maxx using Nexus libs so maybe that alone is the problem not my Kernel.
Have you enable open GL 3.2?
Probably not, if that update enable 3.2 how about enable it on the device to see the effect and improves...
How?
Change build.prop line:
ro.opengles.vrersion=196608 or 196609 to
ro.opengles.vrersion=196610
Open GL version:
196608 3.0
196609 3.1
196610 3.2
After the changes and a reboot + long use, then start report any thing related to the kernel if you have prof that the kernel is the problem in a way I can understand and reproduce, I don't really like user with minimum knowledge of what they are doing report bugs like that, this may not be your case you may know what you are doing but it doesn't seems to me, so if you know sorry.
Again I'm not trying to be impolite...

I don't think you understand my post as you are still sharing a zip that will flash files on the wrong place, again we have a MAXX not Nexus 6 please read this part that I wrote before:

I copied the new driver files to the right folder on the MAXX and adjusted access rights.
Anyway, even before doing so, always using the kernel of stock SOAK4, everything worked well. No reboots.
Still now working well, even after the old drivers are overwritten by new ones - without erasing the original wrong folder.
Using smoothly from the beginning.

Fully understood, thank you again for clarification and apologize for having shared this zip, just wanted to make clear that only shared because it caused no problem here in my Maxx, but since it does not work already made sure
if I was not very clear apologize again because I am using Google translator because my English is very bad
For those who are doing tests with this early version of the driver - for desenvoledores only - there is an update in June, the "m" version.
Do not forget to copy the drivers to the right folder on the MAXX and verify the files system permissions.
I have already installed, and everything is normal.
I will use for a few days to evaluate effects.
Is there any possibility of getting compatible with custom roms?
There's no way to carry the Resurrection Remix? His performance is very good @bhb27

What kernel is this based on? My hope is he's recompiling the (I think 2.6.35?) kernel native to Gingerbread, rather than the other ROM's which have been using a variation on the original LG 2.6.29 kernel. If so, I'd hope we can port that kernel over to CM7.

Agree. Amazing really, especially considering how old the hardware is, not supporting flash, etc. At least with 2.3 we have some hope of using some of the newer apps.

Good if its easy but just like compiling kernels on linux, newer kernels cause some big headaches with drivers. I'd rather have the older kernel and have it working correctly then wait for the newer kernel to function properly.
Anything in the newer kernel that we need/want?
First of all yes this is an advantage of having 2.3.1 aswell but its hard to put in words.
second can i ask when would it be updated to the latest 2.3.3 from aosp?
third i got the phone on 28 sept 2010 and on that day was my birthday and also on that day joestone released the rootgt540!
look at the progress of openetna and you will realise that we will get new kernels, just that we need to establish a fully working rom first.
what is CAF?
MROM-Olympus. Custom ROM for the Atrix 4G
This is my attempt to build a stable, complete, and fully functional custom ROM for the Atrix 4G completely built from source code; Atrix-MROM is built on top of Cyanogen ROM latest source code, my branched and modified faux123 kernel, and Motorola proprietary drivers. I recompiled all components to guarantee maximum efficiency and performance. Along the way, I realized that I needed things to work different for the Atrix 4G, so I also made some changes. If you like my work, consider a donation to my cause.
BUILT FROM SOURCE PROOF https://github.com/MROM. Every developer should provide proof that he is building from source.
Atrix-MROM is entirely build from source. You will see the difference when you run it. Just to list a few features:
Boot time in about 10 seconds
Optimum battery life, better than any other ROM I have tested
Quick, responsive
Contains all the most common Atrix tweaks
MIUI Camera for a better picture experience
QuickPic gallery application
While I tried to maintain the main core small, size is not the main focus.
Few user comments:
ahmedbeik: this is the best rom i ever had on my atrix.
Larac: Liking this rom so far, good battery and smooth.
RFOX100: cant belive. this is the only smartphone who can handle 2 days without drain so much battery
ravilov: I don't remember when I took it off the charger
stanekskc: i have to say it. THIS ROM I AWESOME
P05TMAN: Seriously, this is the best, most stable ROM I have EVER used (I've tried countless ROMs for the Atrix in nearly two years). Great job.
alberto88a: I felt as if I had a new phone, an 8-cores phone
samiam21:This rom with it's new design is as good as it gets. F#$% ics!
Neroga:it's the only truly stable CM7 ROM I've ever used.

[EDIT] - This question has been answered, and the ROM is "usual sized".
Is this ROM really only 12mb or did I grab the wrong file from your Github? If so, you should advertise this...this is smaller than the leanest ROM by a long way... Thanks for developing for the Atrix.
Please follow the Download link, github is only for GPL compliance...

Hey, this ROM looks very promising and I'd like to try it out, but...
Before I flash something on my phone, I'd like to at least check that it downloaded properly. Good news - you provided the MD5 file exactly for this purpose. Bad news - the MD5 file is not for that ZIP file at all. The ROM is called Atrix-MROM-20120816.zip while the MD5 file mentions cm-nightly.zip, and of course the MD5 sum mentioned in the file doesn't match the one calculated from the ZIP. On top of that, the web server you're using doesn't send the total size of the file (while it was downloading the progress was alwasys xxx MB of Unknown) so I can't even guestimate based on the file size (ie. it's supposed to be around xxx MB, my download is about that size, so it's probably fine).
The downloaded ZIP file happily opens in any archive manager which is definitely good, but I'd really like to check it against its MD5 file before I actually decide to flash it. Hope you fix this soon!

Hello, I'm slightly noobish with some aspects of Android but here is my issue: I did exactly as the installation guide instructed, and I can't get the manager installed. Same app recommended, managed after couple of hours to get the files on my Nexus 5, run as SU, but says options can't be found. it lists them, but follows with saying they are not in the folder or available. And i can't manage to enter the command.
If this is major nooblike text just take it easy here and help me out.
Hey guys! This might be a dumb question, but does this mod have any potential for conflict with the dalvik and bionic mod, listed here - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2537299?
I ask, because I'm thinking of compiling an AOSP build with both mods baked in, and I want to be aware of potential pitfalls. Thanks for any/all feedback, and thank you for (what appears to be) an excellent mod.
Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
Hi jjhiza,
No issue between both mods (I've tested), it's two different things.
You can test by yourself before if you want, you just need to edit the build.prop and add manually (at least more convenient for me than running the script) the different lines from the script here or from the source link and flash the Dalvik/Bionic patches.
About the real improvement of this mod (I mean this Adreno Catalyst mod), I let you judge by yourself...

The Script is still in Alpha, which means the code is compiled and the base features are existen but i cant get it to execute its main features without hiccups, im going to rebuild it now to see how it goes...

Their different mods, and thank you, , however this mod does not work atm as its in Alpha, u can place it in ur AOSP Build however warn users that it is not stable and or DD Material,
Just tested a new build and it always fails, i moved to system/bin and it dosent work, ive tried so much but it fails all the time! If any devs can help its highly appreciated, however it looks like the nexus 5 has issues executing scripts, :/, ive tried so much but it dosent work and the code looks legit! anyways on the good note ill push the alpha v13 update to github,
WIll there be mantle support?

Xcelerate™ Custom Kernel, Kernel for the YU Yureka
Contributors
kairi_zeroblade, DooMLoRD, RohanAJoshi
Kernel Special Features:
Version Information
Status: Stable
Current Stable Version: Production build 4
Stable Release Date: 2015-04-11
Created 2015-02-16
Last Updated 2015-04-11
Reserved
Short Credit list:
DooMLoRD for assisting in the compilation
Rohan Joshi, Prithvi Raju and Raj Gopi for testing
Cyanogen
ARM
Short Feature list:
Basic Governors(I won't add Ripoffs)
Built using my own GCC 4.9.x Toolchain(with fixes specifically Aimed at Cortex A53 erratas) built across the standards of Google's own Toolchain..
Simple and no fancy stuff..(more does not guarantee it's better)
Uses a simple free and user friendly application called Synapse by @AndreiLux for configuration purposes(slightly adding more functionality)
A few Notes:
Be advised that this kernel is best used "As is" i do want to prohibit the use of scripts that they say "enhances performance and battery" just use the kernel as it is..everything is managed automatically by the kernel and rest assured continuous innovations are en-route.
**Camera might be broke on OLDER CM11 and UNOFFICIAL BUILDS since this is built using the latest source from Cyanogen use this FIX
Compatibility list:
According to testers/users feedback the Kernel works on the FOLLOWING ROMS(tested)
CyanogenMod 11(Stable)
The list will grow as soon as Testers/Users can provide means and ways to make this compatible with everything..

Nice work mate :good:
BTW could have been much better if u could just left cm commits on git
so would have been easier for other devs to track earlier parent commit changes Rather than using : initial dump of Yureka source from CM snapshot 2-13-2015
Anyways no problems .....
Proud to be tester of this kernel..
working amazingly..
charging speed is double than before now..
also smoothness is awesome, thanks bro..
in call battery drain is dramatically reduced from 12% / hr to 6% / h..
will seek for further features..
does it shutdown cores when low usage ???
Not a fan of Custom Kernels, but...
but, yeah, but for the first time 'll be trying this (don't know why but I have this voice inside of me that's compelling me to try this out), hope everything goes well, will edit to share my experiences once I've used it for a couple of days, till then, thanks for this and appreciations for your efforts.
more governors please?
Thanks a lot! I had been waiting for this kind of a custom kernel!
hey, could you add smartassv2 governor to the kernel?
*downloading the kernel as i type*
Cheers!

Flash the updated kernel I have posted, it includes the libs, then flash xcelerate kernel, camera should work.
Op can add those libs.
No UCI support detected !
Damn ! OP enlighten me on this error when I try to open Synapse.
I'm rooted, I have the stock room that came with the cell, the ago had superuser permissions, but still I'm not able to get that app to work. Did a normal flash, booted into recovery, selected the zip that I downloaded and record again.
Googled for the error, found a post in which a guy having Xiaomi had the exact same problem, there you our someone suggested to flash normally, so that's kinda what I did, what m I missing ??

I saw ur post regarding that, but I may not have mentioned this but I'm not so good in technical side of android. Being a java developer I never bothered about them but for the past few days I'm actually inclined towards learning android development too, say just as an additional hobby, and to my surprise it's Java too.
Now that I have already flashed the kernel, I can be of some use for sure, but conditions apply. I am not available all ( I can update you on a daily basis in between 10-11 pm IST, and on weekends if that's ok with you) the time and someone will have to guide me or provide info on what I'm supposed to do, coz I have no idea what needs to be done while testing a kernel.

Thanks.. But which kernel should should I flash first and which one next.. Can you give download links pls.
This is a 100 percent STOCK EPF1 ROM, Odexed
There are no mods to this rom, though I have injected Root and Busybox
Knox is still present, this is 100 percent STOCK
Comes with 100 percent STOCK Kernel
This is for the G920T FLAT, not meant for Edge Devices, if you flash this you will damage your device
This is meant for Future ROM developers, as I do not have the time to dedicate to doing a proper build
If this does not flash properly, it is probably a simple error in the Update script though I see no reason it should not install.
You must be on the EPF1 Bootloader, and Modem for this to Install properly
BTW This ROM is not currently bootable for some reason, it is for developers use only, I'm currently working on a bootable ROM, no ETA Available

Mine too
Welcome!
Looks like you got everything worked out and install is working now!
Good job.
If you need anything, you know where I'm at, just let me know.
Very nice to see some new development here!
Good luck with your project.

I've been meaning to do this for quite a while, to throw out a ROM of my own.. I'm moving to another State soon, so I don't have the time to go through the motions of doing a Vanilla version... Most of my work has been with my Galaxy Tab.. Which was far easier than this was.. lol

Remember this is the BASE ROM, no mods..
I'm going to be moving this week and I won't be set up at the minimal by maybe the second week in September..
This was meant for anyone else could use this for their own work. However I do plan on doing my own build..
My build will be mostly Vanilla with Unrestricted Tethering, I'll be playing with the Firestorm Kernel @Maqical with permission of course..
there will be some Basic Frame work mods, and of course it will be debloated among a few other Build Prop tweaks..
Please no not make any requests until My Alpha Build is complete.. I have plenty of experience in building Nexus ROMs, and I have my own personal build for my Galaxy Tab 4, and those were very easy to do.. @stangdriver44. There are just some issues I need to work out that other Devs have worked out them selves.. Also from what I have been reading here and there, that there will be another Android Security Update coming for our device.. With in a few months... Though who think we will get Android Nougat, we might.. However it might be in July of next year..
Be patient, don't be afraid to experiment, I recommend using Linux, that's what I use.. Google TheSickness Github.. That guy does it right..

I'm not going to make a tutorial about a ROM Base where it is not intended for every day use..
When make my first release of my Official ROM, I will then post a tutorial..
Not sure if I will stick with Ultra Stock/Ultralite which one is slightly debloated, where the other is brutally debloated.
I might just create a basic modified rom, streamlined with some tweaks..

Hey, Send me a pm later and we'll talk more. I'm just getting sorta back into my everyday life after fighting a cold, my update is near so if you have a upload build date let me know privately and I'll see if I can get you something more updated or complete by time you're ready, I'm doing the same thing with Stangdriver, as we're pretty close and I'll always have a goodie for that rom before it's uploaded.
You have permission to include my work, and any questions or a more complete build of my v3 if you want I can surely send you a copy within these next few days of me getting back into things, if you're also just looking for a close to stock one with most of the necessary fixes I can also build one like that as well, and I saw that Android Security thing that was trending a day or two ago and I'll have the fix for that exploit in my kernel as well. Just hit me up and I'll see what I can do for you
