First of all, you are doing this at your own risk!
In this guide i'll show how to force YouTube app to play the 1080p 60fps videos on your OverPower 3 device.
You'll need:
- Root, Xposed, and YouTube installed on your OnePlus 3
1. Search and install 'Device Faker' on Google Play. (Made by PLP)
2. Activate the module in Xposed app and reboot your device.
3. Open Device Faker, tap 'Select a device' and select "Samsung/SM-G920F/5.0.2" (Don't worry it's just a simplified build.prop editor, you can restore by tapping 'Restore Original Info')
4. Tap Apply
5. Force close YouTube
6. Open YouTube, enjoy
Hope i helped

Could this be done without xposed just editing build.prop?

Yeah. I think it's possible.
Just find/create these in you build.prop, and edit them:
Model: SM-G920F
Brand: Samsung
Manufacturer: Samsung
Board: SM-G920F
Name: SM-G920F
Device: SM-G920F
OS Version: 5.0.2
Display ID: LRX22G.G920FXXU1AOCZ
Fingerprint: Samsung/SM-G920F:4.4.2/KOT49H/eng.bz.1430385425:user/test-keys
I copied them from the app. Hope it'll work
Edit: Or you can try the app without Xposed. It may work.
For those who don't want to do all this, you can get 1080p at 60fps by using the desktop version of YouTube in your mobile browser. YouTube will eventually have this working through the app.

Is this a one time thing or does it need to stay as an Samsung phone?

Are you rooted/stock?
Sent from my SM-N910T using Tapatalk
Stock, T-mobile. Also, no lag other than the usual loading time of a few seconds.
Stock for now. You on a Rom?
Darthstalker.

Works fine for me.
Do you have hardware overlays disabled in developer options?
---------- Post added at 01:07 AM ---------- Previous post was at 12:43 AM ----------
Also, you can always try to reset data and cache of Netflix using app manager in your settings option. That may help. Cheers.
Works fine, stock, stock rooted, and rooted with fire Kat v4.
Not broken:
Firekat v5
It was the ad blocker I was using. Changed ad blockers and it now loads with no issues.

Wipe data and cache on the app and force stop that usually work when a app has a issue. Also maybe reboot before restarting app

I reverted the host file and made a reboot but i'm getting the same error, no connection to netflix, did you do something else?
I just checked, Netflix works on Darth stalker with adaway.
Speaking with Netflix's customer support they say that is not their issue, that definitely is Samsung's problem. Anyway i did a lot of testing and i was able to fix this by using an old version of Nextflix, the 3.3.3.
See attached. (This is the original Netflix 3.3.3 app)

I just switched from RAPTURE ROM to DARTH STALKER and Netflix worked, I also tried Dynamic Kat and it didn't work. So my conclusion is "Netflix works for FireKat and Darth Stalker".
Stock rooted NK4 with AdAway and MinMinGuard, latest Netflix from the Play Store works perfectly.
I've used Darth stalker since my galaxy s3. Jovy23 makes fantastic stable roms. Keyword STABLE.
My Netflix came straight from the play store.
Hi guys!
Found this wonderful plugin from chinese forum, which enables an extra plugin for us to take 3D photos, similar to Phogy.
Just install the plugin APK file and swipe left at main camera mode and you can see the plugin enabled automatically.
Snapped photo will be able to view in Stock Gallery with 3D viewing mode working!

Well there is a thumbnail but not sure if the effect will actually work, didn't seem to when I just tried. Essentially you record a video of the item, process it in the gallery then when you look at it you can move your phone around the item just with movement. The only thing I can think similar is a 360* camera set up that was used at some sci-fi conventions to create a 3d photo
It was announced at the end of last month, but I still don't have it. I just received an update to the Oculus app and got excited, only to open the app and it still not have it...

i dont have this option either on my Galaxy S7 (with latest update's).
i have red somewhere that somebody has an Galaxy S6 and an S8 with both the same oculus software.
on the S6 the casting is working and on the S8 it isnt.
does seem to be an bug or something but oculus isnt communicating about this.
Probably a dumb question, but when I take a picture I cannot see an option to share the image unless I open the gallery app. I'm sure one could and an inage directly after it was taken via the camera?

If you've opened the camera without unlocking the phone the share button will not be there since the device is not unlocked. Once you unlock and view in gallery it should be available to share.

Can you please explain further about un locking the phone part. I don't have any locks on my phone. I simply went into my home screen then clicked on Camera to launch camera. Once I launch camera from the home screen , I take a picture, but there is no option to share.

Then it should be available to you. The only time it's not available that I'm aware of is when you have a lock set an the phone is locked but you hit the power button twice to quick launch the camera. In that instance the share feature doesn't show up.

When using the stock Oreo ROMs, while viewing streaming videos in Samsung's internet browser, you could long press on the video, and an option to save the video would appear. You could also have the video pop out into a separate floating window. Both these options are missing in the One UI beta. Has anyone figured out a way to re-enable them?
