Please see here for sim unlocking http://forum.xda-developers.com/sprint-htc-10/how-to/unlock-t3396891

If the above fails then see below for my Remote unlock service....
Same method as my M9 Sim unlock not NV method.

HTC 10 Hardlocked from Telcel Mexico
Hi, is this method only valid for Sprint HTC 10? I recently acquired an HTC 10 but from mexican carrier TELCEL, they are hardlocking the phone so no sim unlock prompt when I enter a different carrier SIM, so even if I purchase a code I can't enter it.
I followed the debrand tutorial in hope that changing the RUU to the WWE will show the prompt and surprisingly it worked! Sadly the code I purchased after didn't, lol.
Do you think this method will work on non Sprint HTC 10? and in my particular case with the debranded ROM?

Second man with same issue. A guy unlocked my 10 for me on eBay but he beware me that the data wasn't going to work with T-Mobile, not sure if with another carriers it was because i gave the phone to my cousin and he will send it to México soon. But it would be great to know if there's a way to make it work for the future.

Unlocking the phone for use with GSM Sim without Sprint service is not possible as Moto only releases the codes to the specific carrier and Sprint will not give it to you.
If you do get it unlocked, it will not work in the US on a GSM network ie: T-Mobile or ATT. They're hardware restricted from working on local GSM networks p/fca allowances. I have seen a few devices like some black Berry's work locally after being unlocked but they are few and far between.

Hi all. If I purchase one of Moto X Sprint, ATT, Verizon
version, can I use it on our Europe network regarding
SIM lock?
Sorry I'm rookie about Moto X, I use so far other Moto Droid2 and Droid4 only.
Att you have to Sim unlock but its pretty easy to find some place online to do it for $10-15
The verizon and t mobile ones come unlocked.
Sprint and us cellular ones I think you have to be a customer to unlock so not easy to do.
You could also get some of the pre unlocked Latin ones.

I bought the Moto X one or two weeks after it was launched, I'm in Egypt it was sim unlocked however I know that all carriers except ATT and maybe Sprint can be officially unlocked.
I rooted it installed several firmwares, now I'm using ATT 4.4 leak, It's perfect.
Our N/W here is GSM same like Europe.

Surely you just check the bands on the network your trying to use it on. Look up your networks bands.
I checked before I bought, 2100 is supported by the phone and I'm using 2100 without issue.

Hi there, I'm posting here because it's nearly the same question but I'd like to be as sure as possible
I'm looking for this device, 'cause I really like it! The problem is that I live in Italy, and, as everyone, I want to be sure it will work here!
Reading other topics, I've seen that it all depend on the band it's used in my country.
As you che see here (http ://allworldcellphones.com/gsm-frequencies-list. htm), Italy use the GSM 900/1800 frequancies and it should be fine for this phone (or am I wrong?).
Now, if so, what does it actually means? If the frequencies match, does it means that I'll be able to call, send sms, use 2G/3G/4G or there are more parameters I need to check?
And second question: I really like the Moto Make idea! Is there any way to personalize my device and get it shipped to me? Because, if I'm not wrong, Motorola only ships to USA..
Thanks for reading (and, possibly, helping) and sorry for horror typo!

Sprint doesn't have 900 3G band used in Europe, only ATT has band 7 4G, all other models don't get 4G in Europe, only 3G. Check, not sure if I am right here. My GS4 has all 3G and 4G bands for USA T-Mobile and Europe

GSM 900/1800 that's for 2G. All MotoX support that. Then you have to match 3G, and then 4G bands.
Looks like ATT is the best model for Europe but its also SIM and bootloader locked! Next in line is T-Mobile, followed by Verizon, both have same 2G and 3G bands, no 4G for Europe, SIM unlocked, but Verizon has bootloader locked

First of all, thanks for answering
Then, don't you think that the developer edition (GSM) could be a good option? For what I heard, with that I should be only missing the 4G network, wich would be unavaible anyway, wichever brand I choose..
Or am I wrong?
The other plus il that I wouldn't lose the warranty in case of modding..!
Hey guys,
I currently have the SM-N920i and my phone won't connect my carriers LTE network (ROGERS), I was wondering if I could flash the canadian firmware on my device, is this possible without rooting?
If so could you guys please leave the link or version name that would work for me. I'll leave some more information about my phone below if that helps

Model number: SM-N920I
Android Version: 5.1.1

Flashing the firmware would not enable bands that are not there in the beginning. It's strange you can't get LTE. It has almost all the bands for LTE that Canadian carriers use which is majorly 1700/2100 bands aka AWS

Hi Kingpin12, i ever faced the situation here in Indonesia when i first bought the Note5, what I did is go to the provider office and change the sim card into a 4G simcard. Maybe you should try to change the simcard first then give it a shot. Hope it helps.

Hey,

Was the last device you had on your line LTE capable and activated? You should be getting LTE unless you're in an area that uses a different band that the n920i doesn't have.

I got one too, but when you put in a non-AT&T Sim it is supposed to ask you for the code then. Mine didn't ask for the code when I inserted my VZW Sim. It just works without the code. This makes me believe that the watches are unlocked even though AT&T says they aren't
I believe the same.
Asks for a security sim unlock pin if the sim card has one set up, but doesn't ask for a network unlock code if a non At&t sim.

hey mates. I bought this watch and it is working in KSA. I checked the frequency check website before buying it and the result was positive. I really want my watch to work with a standalone SIM card. Any help please.
Bell Canada
It seems if I pick one up in the US next month it would be unlocked.
Can someone let me know if it is compatible with Bell Canada? I know someone here said it works with Rogers Canada - thank you
Check your provider 4G bands coz this watch only support LTE band 2(1900), 4(1700/2100), 5(850)

You might need to manually put in an APN for Sprint.
Go to Settings>Network & internet>Mobile network>Advanced>Access Point Names and see if there's one for Sprint. If not, try going to following link and use the information there to create a new APN.

If imei is blacklisted it will not work on US networks and setup APN manually.
