Vibration Motor on WiFi model? - Galaxy Tab S2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Does the T713 or any of the WiFi only tab s2s have a vibration motor (for haptic feedback)? I've heard from somebody that it doesn't but I want to confirm.

No, T713 Wifi model DOES NOT have vibration module.
Someone said LTE model has, but I can't confirm that.

I can confirm that the unlocked LTE version has a vibration motor. The wifi version does not.

Note 4 Battery Thread!!

Post your battery stats and screen on time here.
This is from first day of use and from the first full charge. I was using it heavily and running around 10 apps in the background, Bluetooth GPS on, all data from lte and no WiFi.
You really brought that Note 4 battery to its knees.

Please, everyone who is about to report their stats, let us know which model do you have (Exynos or SD) and also don't forget to report your brightness settings!

Well, it's was more like my Note 4 brought it to its knees! It is really a power house and given that the battery lasted that long on the first charge with heavy use, I'm quite pleased with the result.

I am looking to get 2 battery + external charger. Who would I get it from?

Yeah, I keep most of my apps running with a BLACK background. I wonder if Sammy could make a hybrid ultra power save mode that puts everything in black and white but allows all apps to be run, rather than the basics.

Wait until companies like Anker produce 3rd party batteries or wait until Samsung has them up in their store and use a 50% off code.
Battery time looks rather disappointing at the moment. Even the iPhone 6+ has almost double battery life from the screenshots posted here =(
Then go buy an iPhone
I'm worried that this may be another step backwards in battery life. Was annoyed a bit by my Note 3 doing worse than my 2 already...not sure I can stomach it going down more, 9991343212312.2323 pixels more than before and all...curious to see more results!
Keep in mind the Snapdragon version usually gets better battery life than the Exynos one in the OP.

Not sure that SD805 can get better battery since the Exynos are on the new 20nm fab.

Cell Standby battery drain fix for AT&T

From the Android Central forums:
Settings. . Mobile networks. . mobile data .. enhanced 4g
Since turning off wifi also stops the drain, I might speculate the bug is actually in the voice processing for wider bandwidth and turning off wifi or enhanced 4g shuts down that section of voice processing, which is keeping the radio alive when it should not.
Thanks for that. I'll try this..
Does enhanced 4g mean LTE? What does turning it off do (besides save battery life supposedly)?

Thats HD Voice (AT&T's version of VoLTE). Turning it off disables the Voice over LTE feature.
Does anyone have proof that this is related to cell standby? I am skeptical that this is the smoking gun for battery drain. I have noticed a substantial drain even compared to my old Moto X (2014) and that is saying a lot since that phone's battery wasn't great. I am trying to see where we can make stride to determine the reasons for it. I have different results in my details. Sometimes android system is the culprit.
I turned off Enhanced 4g last night and cell stand by isn't even on my battery usage list today. It was the top one last night before disabling.
How's the overall life now? I just shut it down myself.
Anyone do this and leave WiFi on and still have good battery. Seems to me that no matter what I do WiFi still causes the battery to drain far faster than it should.

I switched off enhanced LTE but if I leave the wifi on I see a battery drain. With wifi off I get a stable battery. My Edge (AT&T) is on Android 5.0.2.
I remember first T-mobile users mentioning battery was ok until 5.0.1 which was later updated to 5.0.2 and the trouble started.
If we could just figure out how to get rid of Google Play services
Im gonna try this too. I keep wifi on. Time to charge up to 100% and see how quick it goes down
So today I decided to keep wifi on and wow. Battery life not as good. Not having horrible drain, but it is most certainly effecting my battery life. So tomorrow I will go all day without wifi and see how it fairs. But I'm thinking that unless I know I'm gonna be at home a lot where I can easily charge, then wifi will remain off indefinitely. Good thing I have 30gb mobile share data

I'm about to try leaving it on all day. Anything that it turns off I don't really need so might as well. And let's be honest, who needs all the power this phone has all the time. I'd say 95% of the time I don't need anywhere near the processing that this beast is capable of.

N910T3 vs N910T What are the differences?

Ok so now we have seen that there is a N910T3 out in the wild which comes with 5.1.1 out of the box.
Does anyone know the differences? Has anyone taken the time to compare anything?
I have heard that the GPS chip is different? Does anyone know if the GPS is the same or not?
Lastly, who ever has had both models do they notice any differences? Notice any bugs or issues with the T3?
I am currently dealing with some issues with the T3. Some people have told me they have experienced tons of issues and some have reported zero issues.
I'm trying weigh out my options. I am considering going back to a N910T but I would like to make an informed decision before doing that.
Thanks in advance for all of your help.
One thing i did notice is that the T3 doesn't have that gap on the sides of the screen like the original model does.
I'm assuming that the T3 model is gonna be the one that gets the future updates though.
One problem I do have is that when an app crashes (and this happened when i wasnt rooted) is that an app would crash, and I would get a series of Haptic feedback on max vibration intensity like vibrations. It would vibrate once, pause and then vibrate 3 times really hard and I don't know why it does that.

Bad battery life

I got an exynos version (I think) and I am only able to get maximun 4 hours SOT. Lately it seems to have gotten even worse. I know this has already been discussed, but there seems No solution. Anyone been able to fix their battery life without compromising the phones cababilities?
This is my current battery stats
Maybe use more wifi and disable the bloatware. Here's my package disabler pro list

Turn off always on display and developer options (except when you need it). Clear the cache through recovery once or twice a week.

I have always on display enabled and it doesn't really drain that much. I can still easily get 6h SOT or 2 days of moderate use. I would go through your apps to see there isn't one that could be dodgey, draining in the background but hiding under system usage.

Using the s9, for gaming and social media, browsing and crap and get a tad over 4 hrs. Lets see with my habits if I can get 5 or 6 with the N9.

Developer options has extra processes and features that get activated when enabled. That's more processes in the background, hence why it's called developer options. Its meant only for "developers" for testing and extra features.

Never seen that mentioned anywhere here in 6 years on XDA...interesting, thanks! In my mind it's a hidden options menu, and we're not activating new options simply by unhiding it. Would be curious to know which specific processes are being activated and what type of impact they actually have on battery life... My bet is that it's very negligible.

I got the 6. I think the 8 is overkill for me. It's great for peice of mind but with much last galaxies that were 4 and 64gb of storage I always had about 30gb of storage left.
Also, I think I saw somewhere on this forum that the 6 and 8 version offer almost no noticeable difference as far as speeds. So far I'm loving the 6. For sure signal reception is alot better. I'm coming from the s9, prior to that the S8+ and reception and signal at work was garbage. I have alpt more bars now on the N9 and have verified speeds with speed test app.
I do game a bit pubg for the most part. I will need to try Fortnite on here but I am using one of there free themes (red one) along with good lock and it's a perfect fit.
I have never rooted my phones, but I am surprised really is there no root yet for the N9? I need to spend hours to see all the content on this section for the N9.

Cellular strength and throughput

We know how much you like to stream, ahem, "videos", and so cellular data is mega-important. Rate this thread to express how you think the Nubia Red Magic 3's LTE performs. A higher rating indicates that it's fantastic: throughput is excellent and signal strength is top-notch.
Then, drop a comment if you have anything to add.
I cannot get LTE Carrier Aggregation to work when I know the processor and modem can definitely handle it. Is it something Nubia has intentionally disabled? I have heard of other Chinese OEMs like Xiaomi and Lenovo doing the same thing. I don't know if its to save on licensing costs or another reason.
Thanks

Definitely understand, no issue with display either. The screen protector it comes with is a little bit cheap. Going to buy Front and back protectors from Mobile Outfitters. They make great products especially for hard to find phones.
