I rooted my device a couple months ago and obviously got the Deep Sleep issue, that I fixed with Dr.Ketan's DeepSleepFix tool but that only worked for a couple of weeks. After that I got the problem again and the tool seemed to do nothing. I just went with it like that because I always had a power outlet around but yesterday I decided it was time to fix it. So I restored my phone and went to get the tool again, I downloaded it from XDA and flashed it with TWRP which then prompted me to a restart. Well, it didn't work and my phone got stuck at the "Samsung" screen/logo since then. I can't do anything, not even turn the device off as it turns right back up immediately. The only thing I could access is Odin mode. I had to leave my phone overnight to drain the battery so it would shut itself off, thankfully I only had ~30% and shortly after waking up it turned off. I plugged it back in to maybe a working phone but no luck, same thing. Please help!!
TLDR: Phone won't turn on after flashing something.

Flash stock firmware via Odin.
To fix deep sleep flash supersu via TWRP (latest one is advised) or CF-Autoroot.

Could you help me find a link to it? I have trouble finding something that works. I get redirected to file sharing sites with 14h download times... I have the N920C variant of the Note 5.
What is CF-Autoroot?
Thanks

I got it, put it overnight and it was done just now. Thanks
I still have to root it back and see what's up with the battery and if the deep sleep issue is still there. Anyway, do I have to be rooted to be able to flash SuperSU? Thank you again for your help.
EDIT: Do I have to flash SuperSU or can I get it from the playstore?

To flash SuperSU you will need a custom recovery like TWRP.
Download SuperSU > http://download.chainfire.eu/supersu-stable
Move the .zip to your device.
Download TWRP > https://dl.twrp.me/noblelte/twrp-3.0.2-2-noblelte.img.tar.html
Boot your device into download mode
Flash TWRP in the AP section.
As soon as the file flashes hold volume up and home button.
This will boot your phone into download mode, then 'Install' the SuperSU.zip you downloaded and reboot.
Or
You could try and use CF-Autoroot.
For that, download > https://download.chainfire.eu/839/CF-Root/CF-Auto-Root/CF-Auto-Root-noblelte-nobleltejv-smn920c.zip
Unzip it and extract the .md5 file.
Boot your device into download mode
Flash the .md5 in the AP section.
Let it do its thing and you should have root.

I bricked my SM-T900 Wifi while attempting to root it. Can anyone help me get it un-bricked?
Here's a step by step list of what I did and what happened:
1. Turned on USB debugging mode
2. Downloaded and installed Samsung kies
3. Downloaded the file for SM-T900 from autoroot [dot] chainfire [dot] eu/ (it won't let me post outside links)
4. Turn off tablet, get into custom firmware installation mode by holding power, volume-, and home, then confirm the warning
5. run Odin (v3.07, came in the zip file)
6. plug in tablet, tablet showed up as a com port but did NOT show any other information. I don't know if it was supposed to show anything else but I hadn't though about that at the time.
7. Clicked on PDA and selected the file CF-Auto-Root-v2wifi-v2wifixx-smt900.tar.md5
8. Clicked start
9. Waited, it said it was doing something with cache, I don't recall exactly what it said
10. after about 3 minutes the screen looked wrong, all the pixels were different colors, (rainbow static?)
11. Waited about 10 minutes just in case that was not a sign of failure, then Odin reported that it failed.
Now when I press the power button, I get the screen that says "Firmware upgrade encountered and issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies and try again"
I tried using that in Kies but Kies can't connect to my tablet any more. When I try to use Odin using the recovery with power, vol-, home, it detects that I plugged it in but when I try to click start it fails and nothing happens.
I have exact the same problem.
I have read many articles, who said it was easy to root.
That's not true !!!!.
Maybe because the tablet became an update today ?
What I did to recover the tablet: (phew !!!)
Download this bootloader:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=2591013&d=1392923580
Connect to Odin and flash it.
A few seconds, it says OK, reboots and voila: there's your tablet again revived !!!!.

Unfortunately Odin fails before it manages to even connect to my tablet so I'm not sure it will work for me but I'll give it a try. It managed to connect before when I tried to flash the root files but now it fails every time. I'll update this when I get home and try flashing that.
Edit:
Got home, tried your fix. I am happy to report it worked and it only took a few seconds. Thanks!
Edit:
To anyone reading this thread, if you tried rooting your SM-T900 using the SM-T900 files for rooting, try using the SM-P900 files instead! I just tried that and it seems to be working fine.
I'm glad I could help. :good:
It's bad for your heart when you see that your expensive tablet is bricked.
Hello everyone. Where do I flash the bootloader in odin? Do I use PDA or Bootloader and do I need to check the bootloader update box? Just wanted to confirm before further messing up my tablet. Thanks!
Edit: Never mind, figured it out. Thanks for the help!
This method just worked for me. Flashed the bootloader with Odin after getting "stuck" and it booted right up.

ODIN MODE
Product Name: SM-T900
Current Binary: Custom
System Status: Official
KNOX Warranty Void: 1
RP SWREV: A1
How do you use that recovery.img file?
For the top most problem flash cwm or TWRP recovery through Odin or through recovery mode then boot into cwm or TWRP recovery delete all files and install a supported rom.

it's 2022 & my T900 finally went into bootloop in model logo, does anyone know the real reason for this? is it hardware or software problem?
- I can flash any version via odin but still bootloops
- TWRP worked once after that can't get in anymore
- the only button working is for the download mode PWR + Vol Down
- before all this LED Stayed on until batt drained then bootloops
it's a good tab to watch movie while on a treadmill

I tried to flash stock firmware( using both "N910TUVU1ANK4" and "N910TUVU1COD6" ), or full files stock firmware ( included PIT files),but it hasn't worked. I also tried to flash by Smatch Swich, everything seem OK but it can not fix.
I attached some photos of my problem for your reference.
Please help me.

It is pretty hard to brick these phones. Just in case you have a bad file or something. Grab the zip and follow these instructions. I know that all these files in this zip are good so it is worth a shot.
Even if you know what you are doing, follow the instructions exactly, you may be overlooking something. It happens to everyone sometimes.

After you odin whichever firmware you flashed, wait about 10 min or so on that boot screen that is stucked. Then pull the battery out. Go into stock recovery but power+home+vol up. Then select wipe data/reset. Reboot and it should boot just fine.
At least that's how i fixed my phone that stuck few times like what you going through.

The problem is my phone can not access to stock recovery or TWRP recovery. It just stuck at first bootscreen which is shown "Samsung Galaxy Note 4 powered by Android", then restart and stuck again. So that I can not wipe data or reset to fix.

Since you can still get into download mode, what happens if you flash TWRP through ODIN? Step 10 in the instructions I posted assuming it is still rooted or start at step 8 if not. Just to see if you can get recovery working again.
You are wasting time...start over, it's your best and quickest fix....

Hi,
My Note5 N920C is currently softbricked. It occurred during the rooting process, where Odin crashed as i was flashing a kernel and rendered my phone virtually useless. When the phone turns on, it goes immediately to a blue screen with a message telling me to use the "Emergency Recovery feature on Smart Switch." Smart Switch when ran on my PC would not recognise the phone, so that option is out of the question.
The phone from this screen can be put into the TWRP recovery mode too, but as the Note5 has no MicroSD slot, this is not that useful. It can also enter download mode, which is where i think the solution could lie. Would i be able to flash onto the phone using Odin and the download mode, or would that not work/make things worse?
Any ideas welcome,
Cheers,
James

Enter Download mode and flash your official variant firmware. Since this is result of an Odin crash it MUST be a full official firmware so you can be sure all your partitions are correctly flashed, bl,sbl,cp, etc...

That's great news! If you want to root again i recommend flashing supersu in odin (to allow boot of Twrp) then Twrp in Odin, Reboot Twrp then BACKUP, then do your wipes and flash Rom of choice (please already have downloaded it to internal storage! Lol) according to the rom devs Instructions...

This morning I saw that I can update to the new Android 10 version on my Galaxy S10.
I was happy and of course updated directly.
Everything worked fine, the update was downloaded, installed and the phone rebooted.
And from there it hung in a boot loop.
I had already unlocked the bootloader 2 months ago, but only to flash the original firmware again because of an unsuccessful attempt to install TWRP.
Now the Galaxy S10 starts up, shows the information that the boot loader has been unlocked and then the boot logo and vibrates.
Then it goes straight off and starts again.
I cannot use the key combinations to get into the recovery or in the download mode.
How can I solve this problem ?
(Sorry for my bad englisch i come from germany)
You can try following:
Plug your phone in the PC with the USB cable. Then press/hold Bixby + Volume Down and hopefully it will boot to download-mode.
Otherwise try (still plugged in) force shutdown/restart by pressing/ holding Volume Down + Power - as soon as the screen turns off shift to pressing/ holding Bixby + Volume Down for download-mode. Try it at few times as its all about timing.
If still no luck, unplug your phone and let the battery run out. Then press/hold Bixby + Volume Down and plug in to get to download-mode. This may take some time as the phone needs to recharge a little before it reacts.
Once in download-mode flash your software before the update via Odin - I would use Home_CSC first trying to save your data.
Got exactly the same problem today. Don't know which one I flashed in november though
So how to keep (maybe) the data? flash only HOME_CSC?

Yes to using Home_CSC but to be safe I would flash all 4 files (AP - BL - CP - HomeCSC) as some people have reported their storage gets corrupted/ shows wrong capacity.
Use either Samsung 10 (BSKO) or latest Pie (ASJG). Both should be ok as you are flashing the bootloader when using all 4 files.

I got into the download mode.
I used SamFirm to download the firmware but it was Android 10
Right now i am downloading Andoid Pie from updato.com...
No premium, i am just a free member, so it shows me "20 Hours left"
Where can i download the latest SM-G973F Germany (DBT) Android Pie Firmware for free and without that high speed restriction ?
I think i have to put the home_csc file into the CSC field in odin ?
Didn't work for me, neither ASJG (Pie) nor BSKO (Q).
Had to wipe data, beause system nerver booted again.
Lost all my data. Congrats Samsung to this very best update mechanism. Nerver had on any Nexus nor OnePlus.
Maybe you have more luck.

I flashed G973FXXS3ASJG to my Galaxy S10.
First i tried only homeCSC but it was still brick.
Then i flashed only AP, it worked.
But after I set up my smartphone again, I saw that I only have 32 GB of storage even though my Galaxy S10 is the 128 GB version.
Then, as you said, I flashed all four files (AP - BL - CP - HomeCSC).
It still shows me that I only have 32 GB of storage

When I first read your post I thought:
Seriously…. Seriously…..
I mean, why the heck would you only flash one file (you were actually warned against this) when it is just as easy to fill-out all 4 slots in Odin? People amaze me!
Okay its Xmas, so back to helping:
‘What you have experienced is a side-effect of using Odin to flash an AP file to your device with the CSC slots left empty. Never flash a full AP file on this range of devices without also filling at least the HOME_CSC slot. It is safe, however, to flash only a recovery image in the AP slot.
To attempt to repair the damage, you need to boot to TWRP, select Advanced Wipe, tick Data, select Repair or Change File System followed by Resize File System. Your /data will return to its former size, but you will probably find you have lost some data.’
Above is quoted from #ianmacd
So, if your phone is on stock Pie (minimum ASIG), with OEM unlocked, try this to get TWRP installed in order to use above rescue.
Go here and download Multidisabler: https://forum.xda-developers.com/ga...ynos/g97xf-multi-disabler-encryption-t3919714
Go here and download TWRP Magisk Patched: https://forum.xda-developers.com/ga...ynos/recovery-twrp-galaxy-s10-magisk-t3919248
Now read post #2 in the TWRP thread for installation guidance…. When you get to no.10 flash the Multidisabler you downloaded instead and then skip to no.12
After no.12 reboot, boot back into TWRP and try the Data fix above.
If all goes well you will have full storage capacity again, TWRP installed and rooted with Magisk.

If the first two of my suggestions doesnt work for you then you have to let the phone bootloop until the battery dies/ runs dry and then try my third suggestion.

Can someone send me a prepatched magisk ap file for HK 9730 Android 10. I don't know what I did. I just pre patched it myself and flashed with odin just like ANY other update but this time, it gets stuck at Samsung logo. I waited a good while too. My suggestion is to download the complete stock firmware- be it Pie or 10 (Q) - and then when flashing all 4 files via Odin use the Home_CSC file to try to retain your data.
I use FRIJA to download firmwares as the d/l speed is very good.
Bear in mind, if you at some point intend to root and/or install TWRP your phone will be wiped in the process so backup your stuff before going down that road.

Hello,
I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 9 (SM-N9600) that will not boot. So far I have flashed 2 official firmwares with Odin, and on the first boot attempt after flashing, it will show a percentage bar that counts up to around 5 or so percent before skipping to 100 then looping again. It only does the percentage thing on the first boot after flashing. When I try a factory reset from the recovery I get a no pdp scenario error also. I have tried all that I can think of and even took it to a Samsung Service centre but no solution. I would really appreciate any help I can get.

I tried rooting my phone with Magisk then flashing the AP file via Odin in download mode then flashed twrp how ever when I boot I get the error message. Your phone isn't running official software and the phone just keeps rebooting so I think I have tripped Knox.
I can't seem to enter download mode or recovery so I am wondering how can I restore it back to stock rom and relock the bootloader? Or is my only option to RMA the phone?.
Yes by rooting your device you are actually tripping your KNOW built in fuse.
Now try to do few thing:
Download the stock firmware by using Frija-v1.4.2 software.
After that unzip the firmware file and use odin3 to flash the firmware you can read more here.
If you need TWRP use this link to install it.
after that use this link to install kernal which is having magisk inside it so you dont even need button combination.
you just need to flash kernal zip file in twrp or you can read official post here.
The problem is I can't enter download mode the phone just keeps endlessly rebooting so I might have to wait until the battery runs out then try entering download mode.
Update: Okay so I waited until the phones battery died and the phone ended its reboot loop then I charged the phone and tried entering download mode and I was successful in that then I reflashed the stock rom via odin and restored the phone back to factory settings now it's working again.
