I have recently upgraded my note to official JellyBean via kies and after tht i am having horrible battery problems.
And if i use builtin internet application, the screen starts to flicker and then phone shuts down.
No matter whts the battery at the time of using, after crash battery always shows 1%.
Also when charging it gets charged 10% in 5mins, 20% in 15mins and if i unplug then it automatically gains power like frm 20% to 22% suddenly.
Have done factory reset, cleared cahce, calibrated battery but nothings working.
Do i have to reinstall fresh JB frm external usb OR battery is dying
JB version: DDLSC
Could be that the battery is dying... I had to change my battery about a month ago as I had the same symptoms... The battery should last about a year before it starts showing these problems.
Yup, buying new battery.
Have checked everywhere today, but Samsung itself doesn't have stocks of battery and its almost impossible to procure one from any shops/distributors.
Some guy off ebay is claiming genuine battery costing USD12 but in OEM loose packing and has Samsung logo of authenticity sticker, wonder if I should go with it... BTW, retail pack battries in my country is USD 24.
How to differentiate between fake and genuine batteries ?

I got the same problem with me. Its of no probs with JB but with your battery. Seems now is the right time for all those you bought their note during the initial launch of the product.
I bought an extended battery today and it is good from ebay and looks fine. Be wary there is no warranty but based on the previous purchasers feedback I opt for it and I don't regret.

PS : I do not promote/linked by any means either with this product or seller. Just I got a good battery doesn't mean you will also get one. But the seller seems genuine and takes seller 1 month replacement in my case.
hello dr!!!the new battery solved the problem that you were facing????????
coz i m facing the same problem too!
I can confirm it's the battery issue. Same symptom as described in the OP.
Back to normal when changed a new battery. No more flickering or sudden drop of battery.
Attached picture is the old battery. It swelled at the center. You can see the gap on the edges.

Hi guys, I research the battery to replace my old 1 1/2 year old battery and found out this
http://www.ebay.com.sg/itm/3300mAh-...LS980-VS980-/201392264411?hash=item2ee3ea14db
The battery seems to have more capacity than OEM LG G2's battery.
Does anyone tried this battery before?
If you purchased and tried it, which reseller did you buy from?
How is the result and battery life?
Thanks!
If it has risk of explosion stay away from cheap Chinese brands.

Try and let us know
Those Chinese batteries always indicate higher than they actually are. Stay away from them, they're junk.
I had the same experience with the Samsung S4.
It's a marketing scam. The 3000mAh battery is pretty big itself, cramming extra 3300mAh is impossible without size increase (think about cell count)
Save yourself from stress & problems, get the 3000mAh one (and OEM if you find)
I tell you from experience that do not rely on the Chinese mh, are not real never
Go with a genuine part. If it swells or leaks, it will damage your phone.
Hi,
Yesterday i buy new battery for my old lg g2, but i'm not sure is it original.
My New battery is non stepped like this http://tanstartrade.ca/images/LG%20BL-T7.jpg
Do you think that it could be authentic?
Thanks in advance for your help.
I just got replaced battery in service - they told me that they use original LG parts. When I checked it under the cover, it shows manufactured date 6th of January 2016. It is not allowed by antena strips and curved back cover to have thicker battery and thinner would have less capacity. You could probably try but I don't see any benefits in that.
EDIT: After few days of usage I had to get my battery replaced by the old one. May be bad luck with not properly working battery but more probably faik one (runs for 0-10 mins, weird force charging in no OS mode). When they showed me the "new" battery in service it is thinner than the original, does not have the stepped back and thus makes gap between back cover and battery itself - 2mm of medium hard press. So it was like yours - flat design - no additional stepped part. The service was not authorised service but looked legit and had plenty of good reviews. So it's my experience of flat lg battery replacement stated as original.
Be noticed that all of below information are not yet confirmed.
I discovered the difference between original and fake since searching trough forums and own experience. :victory:
Design od LG BL-T7 battery has not changed ever since. Still the only one with the stepped back side. Should look like the battery on right side of these pictures, otherwise it is nor factory replacement (aka fake):
http://i.imgur.com/2Yt8cvDh.jpg
http://i.imgur.com/hkVpceYh.jpg
http://i.imgur.com/XtEH5AQh.jpg
The main difference is in litle bulk under printing "BL-T7", arrows under the NOM icon and next right is noticeable differnce in T in that symbol, fonts differ and last letter of chineese behind the manufactured day,...
There is a believe that non-original batteries are not that bad at all, only they have poor wiring and connection port which often makes them behave unexpectedly.
How to calibrate battery after replacement or when needed here.
I replaced my battery recently, they told me that it's not the original one, its a Chinese made but works well. So far, no issue.
Where did you get that one?

Note that if you face any issue regarding charging since these batteries are years old, then feel free to contact the seller and you will get a replacement.
I bought that same battery. It had no glue residue and the year was rubbed off.
It looks genuine but I won't be able to tell until my replacement screen arrives and I can install them both at the same time.
I bought a 3950mah high capacity battery from aliexpress (so clearly not geniune but for the money I decided to give it a shot). it works fine, got my Screen on time from 2-3h to 5h or more. However, when charging, it will charge up to 95-99% and then, while still plugged in, go down to 83% and stay there. Then when I unplug it and start using it, it first goes back up to 90-95% before going back down like normal. Has anyone experienced something like this and/or know a way to fix it? I tried some battery calibration methods but no luck. Also, since the phone rarely reaches 100% (indicated) it doesnt always reset the screen on timer properly... this makes it difficult to keep accurate track of its performance. when it does work 5h seems to be the usual value.
That one sounds weird.
Definitely not normal.
Only solution is to buy another and test it or return the one you haveDefinitely and try another one

I have contacted the seller but so far they are not replying... I tried the Ampere and 3C Battery monitor the check the voltages and currents while charging. At first, I thought the phone showed the wrong percentage as it was not calibrated for the high capacity (so 80% was actually 120% relative to the standard battery capacity) but it showed that the phone was actually discharging once it reached full charge. Also, my assumption of it being 120% was wrong since the percentage probably comes from the cell voltage. So, next I checked the cell voltage using both ampere and 3C but the values were all over the place, jumping from 4.36 to 4.2 and back. this made no sense. The battery has a top voltage of 4.37 when fully charged so maybe the battery monitoring software of the phone is confused by this?
In any case I will wait for the seller to get back to me and if the problem becomes worse I will get a new battery to test out.
Thanks for the update.
Keep us posted on how it goes.

Hello guys, I am looking to buy new battery for my 2 and half years old g2. So here are my options:
1) Pollarcell - they says it's great battery, but still kinda expensive for a non-oem battery. It would cost me about 25e.
2) OEM LG battery - in LG official service, I have to check it they still got them, price was about 30e if I recall correctly.
3) Some random battery - I guess this is lottery.I can get good or I can get bad battery. There are many brands, and their price is from 8-9 to 15e.
OEM is best choice for sure, but I don't feel like investing 1/3 of phone price in battery, especially cause I don't know how long I will keep that phone. Dunno what to do
Edit: Did anyone tried this battery? It has quite high rating
https://m.aliexpress.com/s/item/32572840069.html#autostay
Beware of Pollarcell batteries I have read cases of burning
Bought my new battery at PhonTrading24 ,
Battery is class and from new production 12/2016 .
fake or original?
I also changed my battery after 3 years at LG service however I have some questions in my mind whether battery is fake or original one. Although new battery has same capacity like old one but it doesn not last like new one ( it lasts almost a day ) Pictures are attached new and old one. What do you think guys?

It looks like the original one and it might well be. But that also means it is not new, as the production of original batteries have stopped several years back. So what you have is probably an unused but ageing battery.
Batteries start degrading the moment they are produced, just that it degrades at a slower rate being unused (depending on temperature it's stored etc), compared to it being actively used everyday.

thanks a lot for the comment. I have been using this battery for a month now and the battery ends after completing one day. As and old production not bad as you said.
Dimensions of original battery BL-T7, taken off from LG G2 : 55.4mm x 66.4 mm x 5.6 mm (thickness in the middle), Weight: 45 G.
Hey guys! So I am having now turning 3 years old Xiaomi Mi3. It is still working pretty good with all these roms we've got credit to the great developers we have at XDA. The only problem I'm having is with the battery life. Previously it would last whole day. Now I'm charging it thrice daily.
So I ordered a new battery and replaced it.
The problem is at around 20 % of the battery, the phone died suddenly and when I put it in charging it flashed the notification light as if the battery is completely drained. Mind it that after replacement, I straight away charged the battery to 100% and then calibrated using battery calibration app by Nema.
After the phone died, I put it in offline charging and didn't reboot the phone until it was totally charged and then rebooted. It is now working fine!
The battery is holding better than what I was having but still, it goes down easily.
I am a heavy user! Lots of browsing, ebooks, emails, whatsapp, camera, etc.
Is anything else needed to be done.?
I am currently on second battery cycle of the new battery. Right now I got 2 hours 10 min SOT and 45% still left.
I am pretty sure, even this is not going to last the whole day as it used to do once back when the phone was new!
BTW am on NOS and it is pretty stable and generally always on 3g.
Please advise!
If you got the battery from official service center only then expect it to work as it used to do when the phone was new. Batteries from eBay, amazon and other websites won't give backup as the original one does because they aren't original ones, typically such batteries have 60% backup when compared to original one.

The thing is that the service center guy tells me that they have stopped importing parts of Xiaomi Mi3. I tried it in another center, they told me that it will cost 1500Rs for the battery and 600Rs for installation and service charges.
So I got it from ebay at 300Rs and replaced myself.
Probably you are right and this won't be giving any improvement to me! I just gave it a try so that I can wait for a month or so for newer phone launches. But I guess I have to rely more on charger than on battery
got a new battery for 300₹ from ebay..replaced it myself..3 yrs is more than enough from a single battery..battery backup ki great..m getting around 4.5-5hrs of SOT..probably which i was getting when i bought this phone..currently on DU. i am on wifi almost all the time.

Can you post a link?Does the device shut off at 20% battery?
Also can you check the battery temperature while charging? The one I bought from ebay never goes above 25.
Hi guys, my battery has been used for over a year and half, started to drain very quick, the recent Android 10 update helped but still draining quicker. Today I myself installed a new battery from eBay.
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/REPLACEM...859434?hash=item5481cba3aa:g:uUwAAOSwYY1enbmT
I highly doubt this is original, and I understand companies do not sell original batteries in bulk to any company, I simply require a high quality battery, not fussed about brand to be honest . I asked the seller to confirm if this OEM battery has the exact same performance MAH as the original, he claimed it was original, when arrived it had the Huawei logo and looked good quality.
looked exactly like the one below.
https://www.aliexpress.com/w/wholesale-huawei honor 10 battery.html
The original was around 50grams and replacement 53grams.
I want to know if anyone else has replaced the v10 battery and how it turned out?
Thanks
" Today I myself installed a new battery from eBay."
And how it is? What is the Screen on Time(SOT)?
Can You give more details about the performance of the battery as you alr3ady have IT installed?
