Is there a working version on lollipop update?
bump
what is so hard to understand? xposed for lollipop currently needs a custom recovery to install. there is no working custom recovery for the z3c yet.

And why not looking around in the XPOSED section. And there is an alpha version out. so Yes, there is.
Well I installed a prerooted version of Lollipop on my Z3 D6603, and installed the Xposed Framework while in recovery. It worked before I tried to install Lolistat, after which I was stuck in a boot loop. So no, it doesn't work right now.

It has nothing to do with lolistat, I expect. I have a rooted D6633 running stock LP; you flash the .zip, first boot is ok (the art optimizer runs on all app) - but it starts bootlooping once you reboot after that first (successful) boot. The only thing I did was, install a bunch of updates - not even the Xposed apk.
And btw, I did that after the first attempt, during which - on first boot - I installed the apk, appopsexposed and serjar's thing, then enabled those 2 modules, plus the greenify one which already existed (I assumed it was one of those) - but nope, it wasn't, unless the framework somehow enabled the greenify one behind my back and that caused the problem (which I find rather unlikely).

I posted this ages ago...I have Xposed fully working now. If you're still having problems, there are solutions.
You can either install AndroPlus Kernel, which patches the thing that breaks Xposed, or install this fix http://www.theandroidsoul.com/havin...n-your-sony-xperia-device-try-this-fix-76894/

You have to be joking.
I mean, seriously? You're pointing me to my own fix, mirrored by somebody else?! (rofl)
It's here btw, no need for externals links. And 2.1 is pretty old, too

Hey, no worries It just felt pretty damn strange - "hey, use your stuff, from over there..."
Hey...
I am using the xposed framework for a long time now on my S2 without any problems. A lot oft different custom roms has been running like a charm and my experimenting with a lot of modules has never ended in such a strange issue. I try to explain....
I can install the framework including every module without issues. A reboot activates the framework and still all is good. But when I activate some modules and restart afterwards, all user apps are gone. Even those which have nothing to do with xposed. Looks like a factory reset but only app-wise. My settings are still like I did set them.
Trying to reinstall them ends in an "app was not installed" error. Now I need to factory reset to resolve this. I installed different builds, including the latest build from yesterday. But I always end up with the same. The experimental xposed installer also did not change anything. I even tried to get rid of this by doing a rom-nuke with the Hawker core script before installing the rom. But still the same.......
I really dont know why I am not able to activate the modules anymore like I always could before and hopefully I could explain my problem clear enough to understand without forgetting anything important I can not see myself. Well, it's not my native language so it may difficult for you to read. If this is the case I apoligize.
What should I try to resolve this. I really want my beloved mods to work again. Thanks for any support.
Cheers
I recently updated my module's xposed code, and now sometimes get stuck at boot when I updated the Xposed module before, although I didn't touch the Main class.
I released it yesterday, and now several users report the same issue. I and the users were able to fix the bootstuck by wiping dalvik cache, for some it worked instantly, but I had to wipe it several time to get it to boot again.
Now I am not sure if my module is the cause, because I don't see any errors, it sometimes just works, and although it first seemed so, the app isn't always the last Xposed module which gets loaded, thus not definitely the reason for the bootstuck.
UPDATE: Found the issue. It seems that referencing other package classes which are not part listed in xposed_init cause this bootloop. @rovo89, is this fixable?
"Note that this is still an alpha version and for Lollipop on ARMv7+ devices only.
Please install it only if you're willing to take the risk of boot loops. Just because it's working fine and stable for me doesn't mean it will work for everyone the same way."
Rovo mentioned this was to be expected.
Sorry I'm not much of help. :/ My guess is that results vary from devices.

Well, of course I know. But if @rovo89 and @romracer as well as @C3C076 aren't knowing about, they cannot fix.
I tried using just xposed frakework installed, without any modules and still got this bug. Weird.

Have anyone succesfully got Xposed Framework running on stock 5.0.2 L90 D415??
I think you have to get a new recovery (twrp) in order to install xposed and then install the rom again.
Correct me if I'm wrong.
I flashed the zip file, wiped cache, and reboot. My phone booted up but i got com.android.phone force closing. Weather app also force closes. And since com.android.phone force closes you get no signal.
My experience...did the lollipop ota for tmo, didn't really care for it much. Used one click root, added flashify and twrp custom recovery and did a nandroid backup. Installed xposed arm zip and it just stuck on the lg logo for quite a long time. Second attempt i did the wipe after installing xposed and it made it past lg logo to tmo boot and hung up. In my reading, saw something about xposed will not work on stock firmware. But isn't xposed for people that want to mod stock roms? Main thing is...back up before anything. Have already used mine 4 times.
So I originally flashed the latest xposedv66 and was not successful. Found xposed-arm-20150213b.zip everything looked good, even had signal. Like you, weather app stopped. So, I tried file manager to get to the installer and it stopped also..
If you're going to do it, BACK UP BEFORE YOU INSTALL. I cannot get it to work, reason why? I do not have the logs but if you install liveboot and activate it, then install the zip and reboot, liveboot will show you a command that is supposed to activate but fails and retries. Its essentially a bootloop but without the reboot. It will not allow you to boot without that feature being activated. Do it for yourself but remember to back up all system partitions and restore them. When you reboot after restore, the system will do the whole 'optimizing apps 1 out of 200' thing so don't worry if it takes a while to boot. Will have more on this when I get home to my laptop.

I tried the one you suggested and I successfully rebooted. However, Lollipop ran slower and then I opened the alpha apk that came on the official thread. It said alpha 3.0 was installed but not activated. So I just decided to restore to before I installed. Xposed is being worked on and its in its alpha stage. Its bound to have bugs. Since THE D415 already has root, I'm fine to wait for an official version of Xposed that works to come out. Also, Even though I had 2 Gigs of data left on internal, there was a notification pestering me saying there was little to no storage left on my phone. Otherwise, no app crashes.

Flashing the ROM again will only wipe/remove xposed.
It's a known fact that lg weather doesnt work on xposed lollipop i also found that file manager didnt work during my period of testing, i don't know if i experienced com.android.phone force closing since I restored from my backup but xposed is definitely not usable on stock lollipop.

Weather app, File manager app works on Lollipop D415 no problem or still buggy with some apps but fixed some others?

There are newer versions of xposed that fix compatibility issues with LG's encrypted apps (weather, etc) since my post, so they should work with the newer versions of xposed. I only recommended version v68 because I never really use LG apps so I went ahead with such an update. Hope this helps!
Xposed for visually impaired users
Hi, everyone!
I'm visually impaired and I've been "adapting" and customizing my stuff (for a better, more comfortable usability) since 1998 (for Win and Mac) and 2010 for mobile devices, with great success.
I could install the Xposed framework to my Galaxy Tab 3 running KK 4.4.2 (Serbian Stock) back in 2012. But I cannot find a way to install it to my LG L90 D410 running Lollipop 5.0.2.
The option for those specific brands and models in based on the need for good cost-benefit ratio pieces of equipment, so that anyone can benefit from my findings, even those running on a low budget.
I'm preparing a podcast and an YouTube channel on accessibility.
All that put, I'd appreciate any input on how to make the Xposed framework to work on the LG L90. Suggestions o modules that can be useful for vision impaired people will be very welcome too.
Thanks in advance for any help I can get.
....!!!!PLEASE ONLY POST ABOUT XPOSED AND MODULES YOU ARE USING ON AT&T STOCK FIRMWARE NOT THE UNLOCKED U FIRMWARE AS THERE MAY BE DIFFERENCES IN EXPERIENCE AND USABILITY THAT MAY CAUSE PROBLEMS!!!!....
This thread is for anyone to posted what Xposed modules you use and if they are or are not working. It will also be a thread to let others see who are new to xposed or havent used it on their s7 edge yet what is and isn't working as well as identifying what modules should be avoided because they are causing problems with the phone ex. lag, freezing, bootloops, other. please comment what you are using along with your experience and any news related to xposed and or modules. i will (when i have time) edit this post with what i have installed what does and doesnt work as well as posting what others put here. of course there will be a working and not working section that will be updated when things break or become useable. hope this thread helps some people out and saves some time and trouble.

....modules that work for me and or others....will be update as i use working modules or people post or pm working modules....i will not be including modules that do not work just to save time and space. At this point in time just assume it doesnt work unless someone can confirm it, dont want to kill your phone!!!!....

2. Amplify
3. Xtouchwiz (turned some setting off that were on by default!!!! Fake system status i'm guessing is best turned off!!!!)

rootcloak im unsure as i have uninstalled it (didnt need it) and xtouchwiz i hacent retried. something (maybe a setting in xtouchwiz) was giving me some sim card pop up that wouodnt go away on boot and wouod make me reboot to recovery to do something to ky sim that just failed and the pop up would be there upon boot. i had to odin to get rid of it. it happened 3 times and each time it happened i had rootcloak and xtouchwiz installed. since removing both i hacent had a problem. so no i didnt and i believe one of them caused the problem. if anyone is using both or one or the other let me know what you do and dont have enabled or disabled in each module.

I appreciate your feedback. It would be inaccurate for me to reply with mine as I use the unlocked firmware. But in this case, the results were the same more or less.

i have since installed xtouchwiz and have no problems i turned a few things off that were on by default. i turned off fake system status and the disable scaling feature that was on. it works. rootcloak i have also reinstalled but i don't think it works. im not sure, i know snapchat has problems logging in if your rooted and i am experiencing this problem with or without rootcloak so i believe it is not working but i could be wrong.
Hi, I am new to xda and Android as a whole. So I have rooted (SM-G935A) and I can't find any way to install xposed because TWRP doesnt support the snapdragon variants. Do you mind telling me how you did it?
