Other than Samsung directly. Does anyone know where I can order an OEM Micro USB Cable? I think using a generic cable is causing my computer to fail to see the note 2.
Search ebay for something like Galaxy Note 2 OEM usb cable.
I just ordered a few of these.. 5ft long too.

I have had older samsung cables work with Kies. If your running a non touchwiz rom any brand of cable should work fine. But if running TW, Kies is very picky on your cable, in my experience.
I have a few "China ebay cables" and they charge the phone but fit very loose and will stop charing if moved a little bit.

I just go to Monoprice.com and get USB cables, I got a 10 FT cable I use for only $1.34.
They have one that looks kinda like the OEM one.
PS. I recomend buying in large orders when getting things from them, like get that HDMI cable you was thinking about getting and such makes the shipping price more worth it that way. Shipping can cost more than the cable!
Thx for the links Neo. Ordered a couple of 10ft USB cables and an HDMI.

i've ordered around 15 mUSB cables and haven't had a bum one yet. the 10' are a bit of a tight fit though. ordering multiple quantities is the way to go so that the shipping cost is spread out among the cables, otherwise the saving isn't significant.
now the chargers on the other hand, you'll need to get a few. i've gotten 12 with 4 bad. but at ~$1.50 each that's not too bad.

Or pay one price with a dedicated USB cable that is not going to break and a dedicated USB charger that will not break and spend completely less there's your savings.
It goes the same for micro SD cards all these people when I get the cheapest price possible and then b**** and complain and moan how is not working or it got fried or failed. Because now they would have to purchase the real one that may have cost a little more but if they had just bought the real in the first place they would have saved more.

with my purchase i have a cable for nearly every where i'll need one. no need to spend more just to get a "monster cable" type that's based on the same standards as my ~1.50 cable. if you feel better spending more money to get the same working stuff i got then go ahead and defend your purchase.
but like i said i won't buy chargers from them any more. powergen has been pretty good for me and they run about $10 each.

No, because the shipping usually cost as much as the cable it's self, 2 or more cables usually only add like a few cents to the shipping cost.
They also have a warranty on there cables and replace them for free if you do get a bad cable and that's only been once in a 5 year period that I had to use there warranty.

I spent a total of 10 bucks okay for an OE charger as well this is in total a heavy duty USB cable no problems at all and I don't need a warranty because they don't have issues.
I don't need 10 cables laying around that's just nonsense its the same thing why people buy the 0 lemon battery why have three to four batteries having to swap them out when they die when you can just settle for one battery for about the same price if not cheaper and not have to worry about turning your phone off and on to swap out the battery.
I have to USB cables 1 is the BlackBerry cable and the other is just the OEM.

Wait till it craps out. I'm glad it works right now. why do you gotta be cheap about everything. Because I love the people that will buy anything at a cheaper cost let's say something happens and no warranty for it and complain that is not getting fixed. I see people do this all day with car radios they buy everything from Sonic Electronix and then complain when they bring it to the manufacturer that something is wrong and then they don't offer a warranty for it because of the fact that they purchased it from a third party that isn't an authorized retailer

Higher price != better quality. See: Beats by Dre.
In fact, quite a lot of people have had issues with the OEM cable. There's a thread in the General section about slow charging where the culprit, for many people, is an OEM cable giving out. My OEM cable which came with the phone now supplies 160mA. 1/10th of stock.

I'm not really cheap about a lot. I saw that thread someone posted with the eBay sale of the 64gb card for $30 and bought it just to see what would happen. I have a 128gb normal sd card but it doesn't fit in my hunterf case with the adaptor. it's a legitimate PNY card you would see at best buy for twice the price or more. doesn't mean it has any more chance of failing compared to one you would get at best buy.

F*** that s*** dude beats by dre is just retarded overhyped mainstream BS. The bass sucks completely the treble is harsh its just complete crap all together it's overpriced on top of that.
I have a pair of in ear monitors that are $80 by Klipsch which they're called the s4 and they do much better job than any beats by dre or Soul by Ludacris crap.
If you wanna talk about audio then you're going to have to go with brands like Westone, Klipsch, Sennheiser, Shure, JH Audio, 1964 Ears, Ultimate Ears, VSonic, etc...
Car audio: Focal, JL Audio, Alpine, Rockford Fosgate, and some JBL/Infinity.

I know, that's why I brought them up.
I personally use audio-technica ATH-M50s, modded to have a 3.5mm stereo jack rather than the normal coiled cable. Got a v-moda cable to go with it which has a mic and music controls.
There is definitely a subjective element to all this. I think what the person is saying about getting ten cables is more about convenience, and economics. Monoprice lowers the cost for bulk orders. The shipping for some items is fix despite the number order, thus more you order, the lower shipping per unit. We all get that.
His other point, why drag a cable and charger around all day, when he can just leave a cable or charger to the places he frequents most such as the car, work, home, friend's house, gym, and so forth. Plus, if they cable is good, you'll probably get to use on other devices that charge via microUSB, which most like aslo be the next smartphone. Personally, I have chargers and cables in the car, work, school backpack, home, and laptop bag. Some are from previous devices, other are ones I bought.
It's similar logic to the ZeroLemon battery. It's just what is more convenient for that person.
But given his record, it's about right what is standard manufacturing fail rate, which is targeted for three to five percent, or less. Even the most expensive equipment can have bad units. And given Monoprice cheap prices, if you get one bad unit out of ten, no one is going to care if they rest still work as expected.
On a personal note, I've been ordering from Monoprice for around four years. I haven't had any issues with their cheap cables. They're cheap, but they work.

Almost in line to buy the expensive Samsung fast wireless charger. Hold my breath to wait!:victory:
I just received a Samsung replacement wireless charger today since the one they gave with Edge+/Note 5 wasn't working (blue light blinking issue), and guess what, the new one doesn't work either. This is just ridiculous! You buy a phone worth $915 and you get a service like this. I got a Choetech Wireless charger which works great but only drawback is that it takes 3 hours to charge my phone. With double the power, this should take half the time. I'll order one and write a review! Thanks for the info!

You don't need to get the adapter version. Note 4 comes with an adaptive fast charger, you can use the same. Also, it's important to note that Note 4 and Nexus 5 wouldn't support fast wireless charging, so they will charge in about 2.5 to 3 hrs (compared to 90 minutes charging of Edge+/Note 5).

You are in luck! Looks like the Asus store just started carrying bands and replacement chargers. I'd expect them to be available on places like Amazon pretty shortly.
(Can't post a link yet, new user)
Additionally, not knowing that the Asus bands were about to release, I just got this band installed on my watch yesterday:
(Can't post a link yet, new user. Search for "Replacement Black Polyurethane Link Bracelet Band 22mm for Luminox 3000 and 3900 Series Watches")
If you take off the end links, it's possible to use the narrower connector without any modifications, though it's a very tight fit.

To my knowledge, the ASUS USA store only ships to the USA. So far the only place I'm aware of that ships internationally is https://www.bhphotovideo.com (but it's likely to end up pretty expensive). I'm hoping international availability will improve soon. As a Canadian, I'm having a hard time stomaching the idea of one day spending $65 CAD to import a replacement watch band.
I ordered from B&h and I picked the DHL saver option not the default one they picked which was way expensive.. The DHL saver option was much cheaper and I recieved in a week and a half im in the UK. I didnt pay any duties or fees at all. Might order the rose gold strap next from them.

These look to be 14mm all the way around, though, so it might look a bit strange on the ZW3. It is my understanding the ZW3 bands attach at 14mm, but the band itself is 22mm...

My experience is to buy whichever wireless charger you decide on from an actual store like Best Buy or even directly from Samsung. I've purchased "real" fast wireless chargers from eBay and Amazon and had to go through the hassle of getting my money back because they turned out fake.

If you don't mind one that stands up, rather than laying flat, I can thoroughly recommend the Choetech desktop charger - it fast charges no problem.

My experience is to buy whichever wireless charger you decide on from an actual store like Best Buy or even directly from Samsung. I've purchased "real" fast wireless chargers from eBay and Amazon and had to go through the hassle of getting my money back because they turned out fake.

This is what i was afraid of, pretty much every single one on eBay looked fake to me and the product description was suspect. you really can not trust eBay with anything these days.

I saw that one, but i have also seen fake replica's of the same one too which put me off a little. In the end i decided to go for this one > CHOETECH Qi Fast Wireless Charger will pick it up tonight after work and see if its any good.
decided a stand up one would be nice to take advantage of the always on display. Also the misses has my old S7Edge so we will both be using it

I purchased 2 of these directly from Samsung after getting burned a few times with fakes. I used my 30% off any accessory coupon for registering my Note8 and got it for less than $30 (it would seem the price has went up since then) and it works with my Otterbox Defender case. https://www.samsung.com/us/mobile/m...s-charging-pad-black-sapphire-ep-pn920tbegus/

Thanks I heard about that coupon but I'm in the UK and don't think they give that over here ;( would of preferred the Samsung one for sure!
Glad you got rid of the fakes... There an accident waiting to happen.

For future reference, the link I supplied is the genuine link from Choetech themselves (it's the link I used to get the review model they provided for me).

Oh cool you managed to get a free one? I applied too but didn't hear anything looks like ill be doing a paid review for this one.. haha
And yeah I can see it's official I just meant it discouraged me seeing other fakes around of the same product
(There are replica's around that instead of being branded "CHOETECH" are branded "Fast Charge")

How was it? charge fast as original?
I just got the shipping notice that my free Samsung wireless charger was delivered today. Cannot wait to try it out as I have seen a ton of good stuff written about it. Will let you all know what I think.
Got my Samsung Wireless charger set up yesterday and it works amazing. I love being able to switch from a flat to a cradle setup and have not had a single issue with the charger finding the phone, even with the Spiegen Neo Hybrid case (which I love btw) on the phone. This is my first foray into wireless charging and I am already wondering why I waited so long.

Have you guys noticed wireless charging gets your phone hotter than cable charging?

It will do. As your using an induction coil to charge.

I got one for free but it doesn't work with an OtterBox Defender charger so I literally never used it.

Hey guys, Im searching for OEM chargers for the 5T.
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Gen...-a15e-461c-b8f4-0f92bad3a1fd&rmStoreLevelAB=0
I also searched eBay but the model number is HK0504 or something like that, and I think it should be something like this: DC0504B3GB
I can't buy from One Plus directly cause they don't ship to my country.
My guess is these are both knock-off's but if you want to be 100 certain buy it from OnePlus. You may get lucky with eBay, who knows.

That was an important piece of information you did not originally provide
I can tel you with certainty that the second link is without doubt a knock off. In the title it says "Genuine 5V 4A DASH" no where in the auction does it say OEM. The first link says "OEM" and it looks like it does not come with any packaging. Again, for 17 it is likely a knock off. The problem with these 2 as well as other listings say they are compatible. Tat does not mean they will fast charge your 5T. One of the ones I looked at said "Oppo" on the plug. Oppo may make Dash chargers but my 2 OEM do not say Oppo on them. I don't think there is any way to be sure that these are OEM Dash Fast-chargers unless someone purchased one and can attest to it fast charging the 5t.
Good luck and report back if you find one.

How about this one maybe? https://www.ebay.com/itm/Genuine-OE...hash=item3af9439859:m:mCtRbqQ2sBartypSMsqC4mw
This is the only one that says OEM.
Everything about it looks real except the model number for an OEM Dash Charger says Model: DC0504B5GB. This one shows model number of HK0504. I'm thinking this may be another knock off.
The real ones are priced at 34 US. I'd say anything much cheaper will not be an original. It may work fine but I doubt at that price it will be OEM.

Nice detail. I would be more than happy to pay the full price for the charger, it's just that there isn't a way for me to get it. Maybe I need to find shipment forwarding services. But those are very expensive, I hope someone knows where I can get these.

I noticed that the English charger has the same model number, but the European one has HK504 like you said.

Anyone has a EU charger and can confirm his model number?
I bought from this Ali Express Seller. Few people on a OnePlus Facebook page wrote he's legit and his products are originals.

It is fake as its volume is less than the OEM Charger supplied with the phone. That can never happen as the original company cannot make its charger larger than this. In other words, another company cannot make a charger of same rating in a smaller size/form factor. Support me if you think so.
OPPO uses the same charging technology. Search on ebay "oppo vooc charger" and just buy from a seller with good reviews. I've tested it and have used it myself without any issues. Hope this helps.

Bought it, thanks
My original OnePlus 5T Dash charger is made by LITEON TECHNOLOGY CORPORATION with Model number: DC0504B3GB G81724003804. The QR code on the devices do not match with the version sold at AliExpress, as well as Logo of the Dash on the front side does not match. I therefore think it is a fake.
Pro-Tip: Anything VOOC supports OnePlus's DASH charging. They're more or less the same thing.
Source: Currently using 2 VOOC chargers for an OP5 and an OP5T and they charge as fast as the original.
Might be easier to get too.
