Cases in Canada?

Hey guys, any idea where I can get my hands on a folio/blurex case in Canada? The dealers at Amazon doesn't ship here need some protection for my N7 ASAP! Don't feel safe taking it out of my house...

Thanks for finding it! One quick question, what is the difference between that and the ultra slim? Its o.8oz heavier, but I'm unsure where's the bulk at.

i'm not sure cause I haven't received my slim case yet, but it's a great case. it's nice and light while fitting the nexus 7 perfectly. I highly recommend it.

@hoponpop - Thanks for the link. It has been VERY difficult finding good cases available to Canadians, as lots of the Amazon sellers only seem to ship within the lower 48.
In case anyone else was having trouble, click the product, then click the "2 new from $xx.xx" or whatever link below Amazon's price. You can then select whether you want the order to be fulfilled by Amazon or the seller. Choose the seller and the case is actually a buck cheaper. $6 shipping to Canada isn't bad either!

There was a coupon code for $5 off I believe, but I missed out. Oh well, $20 delivered to my door, can't complain.

Prestige Milano contacted me about this and they said that they will start shipping to Canada on Amazon.ca in a few days.

Bestbuy and future shop have a few decent cases.

I have that blurex case and didn't like it due to fact that it gets annoying to get the notification bat to work since the frame of the case gets in the way... Other than that the case does the job... Try ebay I got mine from there for like 20 bucks including shipping...

Best N7100 accessory site ever!

Well the title explains it all. I've used this site before and they offer the cheapest price cases and accessories I've ever seen. Free shipping is for almost every item shipped to the USA, but I would pay extra for faster shipping because the free shipping takes about a month to get haha. Other than that, it's a great site for the same accessories you see being sold at the local mall cart for 10 times the price.

Most of this stuff is available on ebay for slightly cheaper.
Given the lead time on most of these items, it looks like what this site is doing is purchasing this stuff from various ebay retailers, marking it up, and then shipping it to you (probably with another markup on shipping).
If you don't need expedited shipping, your better off going directly through ebay.

assuming the prices on ebay are cheaper.. well, at least they put them all in one place. so we have an idea of what's available.. it's like a single show room for us then to shop on ebay.

For the items I'm finding the prices are either the same or cheaper on this site. Ebay has some cheaper items also, like screen protectors or some cases. But this site has almost everything that's available for the note 2 at the cheapest prices I've seen.

I am yet to find a item that's on this site which is cheaper on ebay.com.

I've been searching a lot for casings and stuff and i have to agree that this site is cheap and the shipping is just as cheap for DHL. I'm buying a total of 7 items

I used to order from tvc-mall/case-parts but their high shipping cost drove me away. Now I'm sticking with Deal Extreme www.dx.com as my new favorite source for any Note 2 accessories or gadgets in general, also very cheap prices, free us shipping, decent quality, and often something more unique in comparison to other HK retailers. And now my wife discovered it too, she is ordering make-up stuff from there lol!!!

With any HK retailer their on-line catalog doesn't necessary reflect what they actually have in stock. Often they have to go to their supplier, that's why you have to be careful with a wording on these sites when it says "available" or "ships" in 2-3 days or 5-7 days, which means this particular item is not in stock and it will take them a few days to get it and ship it out to you. Overall, it's always a risk taking because pictures can look better than actual product, and 100% of a time brand name products are actually knock offs. Doesn't mean those are bad knock offs. With Defender case or some of the Beats headphones you can actually get a decent quality. But it always a risk.

I've ordered numerous cases from there before without a problem. Just be sure to read what the title says. I ordered a green case and the picture showed it being a transparent green but when I got it, it was a solid puke green color... But it was my mistake for not reading the description fully. Other than that I've had no problems and continue to shop there all the time.

I couldn't resist at this price. But what I did instead of buying one through the Bell web site was to price match it at my local Best Buy. With their price match plus 10% policy, I got it for $89.97 plus taxes. Thank you, OP!

I just got off the phone with bell Customer Service and was told that they had so many orders that the system went into Back Order mode!
They can'f fulfill all the orders they took and are now contacting Samsung to see if they can get more to satisfy the existing orders.
I expect Bell will be cancelling many orders very soon.

I am in Nebraska and I got one of my local Best Buy to price match. I think the said ok because I got the orange one ( Broncos fan). I also knew the sales rep because he helped me in the past with a lot of stuff.

Now on sale at Future Shop for 100.

Does your note 9 fit in your Gear VR?

So I was setting up my VR stuff this morning and for the life of me I can't get the note 9 to stay put in the Gear VR. It goes in in works but I can't close it into place. And that's before my Dbrand and me Dome screen protector which I have yet to install.
Can anyone with a Gear VR let me know if they're able to use it? I just need to know if I'm a one off before I bring it to Samsung.

No, it doesn't fit. There is supposed to be an adapter but samsung seem to have no idea when it will be available

I Have the 2016 gear vr. I had to very slightly modify the corners with a dremel and it fits fine now.

You could also use a peice of 80 grit sand paper possibly. Amazon sells cheap rotary tools like https://www.amazon.com/dp/B003BYRFH8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_IDQGBbZPY35ED
I only had to remove small amount of material at each corner. The phone locks into position and works great now.

Go on the Samsung+ app and use the chat. I was able to get the new adapter sent me me with ease. The website says to contact Samsung and they will mail you the adapter free of charge.

That's what he told me.

I have the Gear VR that came out just after the Note 8 and can confirm it does work with my Note 9. The USB connector on the VR is a little tighter but once you have pushed it in as far as it will go it works fine.

See what you did there ???? I have to agree with you there. Samsung reps never know what the hell is going on. If Samsung Canada and Samsung US merged to make a Samsung North America it might actually work in our favor but who am I kidding?????

Mine fits fine. It's a tad tighter on the connector but fits well for me.

Yeah I had no problem ordering an adapter from Sammy UK. Just had to provide proof of purchase as I bought from cpw

Case in box

Ive seen a lot of unboxing videos and most were international models that all came with a case, so I just want to know if the USA model will come with a case included?

Can someone confirm that the international/Europe s10 will have a case in the box. Have seen it as well in some unboxing vids. But have not found any confirmation on the retail box shipping since yesterday.
Will get mine hopefully next week. Eager to know if i have to spend more time searching for a case like crazy to have my investment safe at least in the beginning.
Haven't dropped a phone in a long time but I know I will first day with a new phone especially without a case.

I did not get a case with mine. You should check the retailers page about what is included in the box. At least here in Finland they specify what is included in the box and a case is not on the list.

I just got s10+ in Egypt and it had a case in the box
Clear hard plastic case and installed screen protector

Thx for the info. I ordered from Amazon in germany, living in austria. Haven't seen any info of a case on the product website. At least I will not have to wait that long to see.
But as I don't see any info of any case in the box in Europe I guess it's not included.

In India we get a pre applied screen protector and a clear hard plastic case.

In Germany - no case in box. Also the buds didn't come with the package. Presuming they might later on.

US model: OTG adapter, AKG, charger, wall plug, and paperwork. Screen protector is pre installed.

I ordered on the German Samsung website, so their own online shop. The order in the online shop says it's in preparation but I already received the phone on 6th of March, so before the launch. The buds are mentioned on the order but no info about status.

I've got my phone within a contract with Vodafone Germany.
The ear buds need to be ordered in the Samsung Members app, there you have to register your device including a scan / copy of the invoice.
In my box there wasn't a case and I really don't know why manufacturers are packing different boxes for each country. It's not Samsung only, Huawei does the same and it's kinda annoying that they do this.
I'm often on international English speaking tech sites where they post stuff like "there's a case in the box" or "the S10 will have the SD855" and when it comes to the release here in Germany all hopes and expectations are getting blown away.
I'm glad that Samsung put a screen protector on the phone even for Germany.

Latin America version, no case but instead was bundled with a 128 GB SD card.

I noticed that bundle on some of the International phones selling on Ebay.

S10 from Philippines, comes with a free case

So just got it few hours ago. Surprisingly the dual sim variant. But that's OK
But no case in the box. Ordered from amazon.de sent to Austria.
Sadly almost none of the good cases sold on Amazon will ship to Austria.
Does anyone know any good site to buy cases?
