Hi there
Hadn't used the phone for awhile so charged it up but whenever it starts it goes straight to Fastboot. No other screen appears.
I have gone in to HBOOT and done a factory reset and still the same.
It is in original state [no root etc].
The Fastboot page says

And the phone probably had root but lets put that a side and take a look at your problem.
The only reason I can think of for the phone to go directly into fastboot is because the system partition is wiped, formated or the data is corrupted.
Your best choice at this point would be to try this out http://forum.xda-developers.com/desire-510/htc-desire-510-64-bit-eu--international-version/android-4-4-3-stock-os-debloated-64bit-t3361689. The guide is written by me so if you have any trouble or questions feel free to ask
Cheers, I'll take a look later.
Honestly, haven't done anything to the phone, though I can see why you might think I have. It has hardly been used and was sitting in a draw for some time. I've rooted other phones including the original HTC DESIRE but have moved onto Nexus phones and used a toolkit to root them.

Hey guys, since unlocking with HTC Dev site I've noticed a strange warning message on the HTC screen when my phone boots up.

is this normal? I'm not sure if the message was there before unlocking or not, didn't pay attention.
In case it's not a normal thing to see here's the full HBOOT details:

Yeah when you use HTC's why of unlocking that's what happens. Nothing to worry about.
Sent from my HTCONE using xda app-developers app
yea that's normal, when you unlock the phone, that's the normal popup warning.. my EVO LTE did the same.. cant wait for S-Off and RegawMOD Bootloader Customizer to get rid of that damn thing.. plus you can hide the **Tampered** logo on the bootloader.. makes the phone incognito, so if someone happens to just look at it, it looks like it is stock
We received a HTC One with a batch of other phones. This HTC One is stuck on the HTC Logo and no matter what you choose in restore mode, it brings you back to the HTC One logo where it's stuck. I thought maybe it was because somebody tried to root it, but it is locked still so I don't know.
Here's my screen. I have had experience with ADB flashing some older android phones, but wanted to make sure that's the route I will have to go on this one. Also, if so where is a bone stock rom and which rom would I need?
EDIT:
I have spent many hours on this and can't figure it out.
So my bootloader screen first said

Is there something else I should try? I would try a newer RUU but I can't seem to find one. The only other one I found seems to be a leak. If that's what it takes to make it work, I will, but I know sometimes it's not good jumping to the newest if you're on an older software.
You can boot in bootloader with the longpress of Power and Vol- buttons?
If yes, flash a recovery and after use the adb sideload whit the rom do you like

I just want stock.
Oh, and it is an AT&T Model. I guess I am missing the stock rom section. Everything I see isn't stock.
Ok, so, you will be stock.
Go in bootloader and check if you're in s-off or s-on and locked or relocked.
Check also the firmware version.
P.s. the screen in op isn't visible

Ok so after many times trying I got the version number. It wasn't recognizing on the computer for the longest time. Who knows.
1.26.502.10
Where to next cap'n?
I found these from a download link from 1.26.502.10 but they're newer. Will they work fine?

Once I have the proper file what's the command to flash it on HTC. I've only done ASUS tablets and Nexus 7's before. Their command is adb push stock.rom /sdcard/stock.rom
Or do I use the HTC tool? I guess I am confused a bit.

Sounds like you need to RUU first.
The official RUU should be an .exe file. Its a windows program. Plug in the phone. Run the program. Profit.
It will only work if you're using the AT&T ruu for the HTC One, and the version number can not be older than your current version.

The ruu completed without any errors?
Try selecting the factory reset option in the boot loader.

I found this new RUU that's a leak. Is it safe to run?
Hello --
My US T-Mobile HTC One received the Kit-Kat update today (first day of upgrade). It is stuck on the white "HTC One" screen and cannot go past it. Phone is (was?) stock T-Mob Android rooted. I went back to the stock recovery to ensure the update happened properly. That whole process of rooting, using custom recovery, etc went pretty smoothly. Now it is just stuck on that boot screen. T-Mobile logo appears very briefly looks corrupt/scrambled. I can issue ADB commands so I know it is talking to the device, however the device says "offline" and I cannot get it go "online". I tried other USB cables, kill-server, start-server and nothing is bringing it back online. Screen has now been on over an hour (I cannot get it to turn off completely in the boot screen). I figured being it is talking still to the device (although offline) maybe all is not lost.Anyone with any advice on how to get this up and running before I have to return this to T-Mobile and pay hefty probably for this.
If anyone can help, maybe the below will be helpful:

I upgraded ADB, and now instead of OFFLINE it says UNAUTHORIZED (although I have used ADB before on this same computer/device and it was fine -- consistently have used other ROMs before, etc)

Did you figure out how to solve the problem?
Can you get into the bootloader and wipe the device?

I used Guru Reset from http://www.htc1guru.com/downloads/stock-rom-downloads/, then used a USB OTG cable and a mouse to get the first update, then got the second update, then reflashed TWRP, then rooted.
If I did it again I think I'd go the RUU route to save me from having to use the mouse and do two updates.

Thanks for asking. After a couple of hours of panic and then reading on here, (if I remember correctly) I kept powering it until it gave me the option to fastboot (vol-down, power -- but I had to keep trying it because it would not take or boot properly consistently). I was able to flash RUU onto it, somehow lost all the data on the memory card (maybe this is normal?) and then was able to take the update. Not sure what happened there, but once I did the RUU, it was able to take the boot and update and re-boot itself to complete the install. For me, it seems like something was wrong with recovery. I flashed the stock one, but perhaps I loaded the wrong one (although I had been booting/rooted practically since I had the device a year ago).
Hi.
I found my old phone which I want to give to my father but noticed it was on the bootlogo loop. I then remembered how it happened.
I was playing around with my phone when it just froze. I pulled the battery out and put it back in hoping it to work again.
I've waited for like 5 minutes or so, as it stayed on the logo screen.
I've never thought of doing a backup for my phone unfortunately. If i could get any help on fixing my phone, i would really appreciate it!

Do you have a ROM flashed on to it? If not, then just flash another ROM to it.
I'm assuming that you know how to do this given the HBOOT number. If not, then look at the guides in the Incredible S General.

Hey all
I believe based on model number, that I have an M7 HTC One. It was working just fine, and got some OTA update and the phone rebooted. From that point on, I get the ATT logo and noise (at max volume).. black screen and about 90 seconds, and reboots and starts over again.
I found the commands to get into the boot menu and chose the restore function after looking for all other options, and not only did it not help, it didn't make a difference!
Any suggestions? I see a TON of RUU images, utilities, and 1,000 other things that might help force out a new image onto the phone, but I am not familiar with what are the right choices or what might work? I did search through the forums first, looked at options, but didn't see what I was looking for or don't know enough to know what I am looking at.
Suggestions?

your s-on and locked bootloader use the AT&T RUU here >> http://dl3.htc.com/application/RUU_...06_10.46.1718.01L_release_424933_signed_2.exe
Thank you and I will check that. I just ran it once, and while the phone seemed to respond to the flash, it still loops on boot. The utility then crashed out, but I will try it again. Thank you!
Yeah.. the installer recognized the phone the first sitting in fastboot USB mode, but now doing the same thing the installer fails out saying no phone detected even though I get the USB connection chime noise from my PC, and I can see the fastboot flip to fastboot USB showing it is connected.
This may be a completely bricked phone.
