[MOD] [SHARE] [PROJECT DARK BOOSTER] ABS Tweaks V5.0 - ONE Themes and Apps

Hello all i never used any performance mod or tweaks in my oneplus one as it has lot a powerful processor and Ram.
I used these types of mods when i was using low ram devices like Samsung Galaxy s advance.
But then i thought to use this mod with OPO. Flashed yesterday and i can really say this is working good.
I am using RRM rom with lots of mods from xposed and xtreamemusic music as well.
I doesn't feel any lag previously but touch response is some what low and scrolling is bit slower and laggy in some apps. Some app opening very slow.
But after flashing this mod i am feeling phone is more smoother, ui is buttery smooth and battery is also draining at low speed ( battery is yet to taste).
So what is this mod....
This is combinations of all battery tweaks, kernel tweaks and build prop tweaks, which makes phone super smooth in every aspect with good battery life.
After flashing mod, go to terminal eliminator and type
su
ABS
And u will see all commands follow them and reboot u r phone thats it.
And plz give feedback...

Best kernel for battery

Hi. As i see i can't post any question in development threats because i haven't posted enough yet so i open this to ask a simple question. Which is the best kernel to improve battery live? I have tested francos and motleys, both with uv and i think that motley is a little bit better but i keep testing franco r111 and it seems to give good results. Any other kernel recomended for battery? I prefer battery to performance and smoothness but with a limit. Now im with whitehawks aokp and seems so nice, i also tryed bigxies aokp and was amazing too. Rom recomendations to improve battery live will be apreciated too. Finally excuse my poor english and dont be afraid of correcting me. Your eyes and my knowledge will thank you. Thanks!

Multitasking like this?

Hi guys, so i saw a trailer from sg3mini with multitasking in the same window, nothing new but I'm interested in how to make it work on the P990 I don't know if it works with the paranoid rom,
Watch the video.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SC_ip6MdozY&feature=youtube_gdata_player
any idea how to make it work?

to make this possible, i think we would need touchwiz's framework, and if we tried to port it i guess the chance of making it possible is quite low
but you are right its an awesome way to multitask on

That's what I've been thinking, but I remember I saw it with a non-samsung rom but I can't remember. And the possibility to port it from Touchwiz is very low as well

Our device has <400mb usable ram, It can't even handle some apps like chrome and you want it to play a video while browsing while using facebook etc.. I think if you want to do that you should move on to another device with more ram. Sadly the capabilities of our phone are limited by the hardware not only the software.

[Q] Battery-friendly ROM

Hi guys, maybe you read this question a lot of times...
In your opinion which is the best battery friendly ROM for our device atm? I don't really care about performance aspects because I'm not a gamer

I get +/- 1 day on stock JB (GPS always ON, data always On). Last time i tried CM (RC2) i didn't get 6h...
I'm currently getting a decent ammount of battery life with CM Nightly 20130613 + Idoak v6 kernel.
Also Stock ROM with Idoak kernel is good aswell. Just have my Governor set to Interactive and seems to do a pretty well job.

From what I've read/heard around. The CM RC version are alot more buggy and problematic than the Nightlies. I haven't tried the RCs myself tho the Nightly does feel pretty smooth and stable.
Which firmware?
Sent from my LG-P880 using xda premium
ROM has little to nothing to do with battery life, aside from the obvious settings you can select to turn opn or off features. what does influence battery life is how you use the phone and in particular 3 key elements
1) Kernel - Stock kernel is pretty limited, using alternative kernels will allow different governor and scheduler options along with frequency and voltage control
2) Tweaks - many unsuspectable little things can change the way your phone drains, probably the best way to start is getting pimp my rom from the plauy store
3) Apps - You will need apps to help managing and scheduling when and how the phone drains. LBE security master or any other task manager will prevent unwanted app startings and others like juice defender or other battery saving programs help with which interfaces are on and when.
Also keep in mind that if your phone is new the battery in the first 3-4 days need to settle and will change drastically behaviour.
Hope this helps
In any case a catania sto telefono te lo fanno prima della terza ricarica quindi non mi starei a preoccupar troppo
Grazie XD
In this case which kernel and governor do you suggest me?
Sent from my LG-P880 using xda premium
Stock rom, remove LG MLT and Google Backup Service and you should be good.
I can leave my phone for 2 days without worrying about charging it. However, with screen set to 50 or 100% brightness, the battery drains very fast.
Otherwise, keep your screen brigthness low and get a governor that lets you throttle the CPU. At 800 MHz,you should be fine. Also, dont use auto brightness, it will not help.
Thank you which firmware?

I'm using SuperXE with iodak kernel, undervolted.
Currently on 55% battery after 13.5 hrs 1hr+ screen time.

EuroOpen V20A if stock or CM, some nightly between RC2 and RC 3(Thats the last ones I tested that used to be good)
Could someone help on what r the steps for install custom ROMS and Wich one is the best for battery life I'm having very very huge battery problem. The battery it's long for about 3 hours tops and I need to keep charging always and also the overheat is extremely. I will appreciate ur help
Enviado desde mi LG-P880 usando Tapatalk 2
Sorry but you should write a new topic for this problem... Anyway there are several guides in this section that revolve about how to install custom roms. Try looking there... However generally after installed a recovery you should do a full wipe (data/cache/dalvik) -> install zip from sd card -> choose zip from internal/external sd card -> [file directory] -> choose file -> yes

Im using iodak 6.0 and latest CM nightly builds. Battery is much better then on stock ROM and kernel.

I dont know if iodak improves battery life, but I do not think that battery improved with CM. It actually got worse for me,
XenonHD + iodak v06 has been very smooth and battery friendly. A day and a half of moderate use and I'm sitting at 18%

Cm (02/07) + Optimus Prime V1.9. I use cm because it's (IMO) the best way to enjoy the android experience. Also because all the mods are compatible with cm.
The reason i use this kernel is because of the performance/battery life.
Cheers
Stock v20a Euro with stock kernel I deleted some applications that come preinstaled and now everything is fine.Using stock because i like LG UI 3 and because i didnt yet installed CWM If anuyone can recomend guild how to instal CWM (best version for our phone) please do so
P.S. mine 20a Euro is unlocked and rooted.
Zaiben ROM and eternity project kernel, best performance and battery life, first time that I don't need to lower the graphics of real racing 3 to ir run lag free, also first time that I run butterly smooth mc4 and 10 hours sleeping with only 8% drop

well, I used to enjoy playing some Tegra games on it, but I just hope there's something to smoothen the performance and enhance the battery life as it is now still very disappointing.
I'm currently running V20A rooted still with locked bootloader ( I believe ). I have frozen several LG apps (if not all), and the battery life is still disappointing.
IceColdLG-P880_IceColdJelly_3.6_Final_HOX[PORT]by_SnXo. Very fast, stable, long batery life.I thing is the best rom so far.

Umm? So you play 38 hours with screen off? Including 30 hours without battery? Wow -- would you mind sharing that trick?
This is a really useful thread indeed, as one can not only learn which ROMs are available but also how stable/battery-saving etc. they are. What I'm still missing are the links to the ROMs sources. Would be great if you could include them! Thanks

could you please post stuff life what exactly your mod does? eg. build prop edits etc2. and what are the mods/tweaks that can conflict. thanks!
Those of you asking for what it actually does, did you bother to look in the zip file? It replaces some libs, installs drivers, makes some build prop additions, adds some scripts to make sure it runs, etc..
If you're genuinely curious to see what mods actually do, a good start is to just look at the files included.
