S5570i odin problem

Sorry for opening another thead, but I don't find an answer on forum.
My phone isn't work any move, it can be turned on only in odin and recovery mod. I want to install a custom rom with ODIN Downloader, but the Odin App didn't see my phone, what can I do?
Try to download the usb driver for your mini. You can find it on sammobile.com. Download clockworkmod recovery. Load the .OPS file in Odin, check One Package, load the recovery package and press start. After odin says PASS go in recovery mode by pressing home + power buttons. Navigate with the volume buttons and home. Also you can flash a touch recovery. In recovery mode go to install zip from sdcard and select the custom rom. After installing do a data wipe/reset.
It was easy, I done it with ODIN, TNX.
Odin for normal galaxy mini will not detect your pop plus , use odin3 v1.84 and 1.85 and Odin will detect your device , and I think there is only one custom Rom for pop plus , Its name is repencis (u can goto mini dev section and find the pop plus development and read the comments there u can find repencis thread link)

Unbrick Samsung Galaxy Note GT-N7000

Having looked at the thread regarding a similar predicament that I have (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1783556), I'm keen to know I can use ODIN to put on a new ROM. Basically these are the steps I've followed;
1. Used KIES to update my ROM from Gingerbread to ICS
2. Use ODIN to update root my phone with CM9 safe kernel (not knowing it would have been significantly better to have copied my new AOKP ICS ROM to the internal SD card first)
3. Rebooted my phone and cannot get past 'SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTE GT-N7000' logo.
4. I can still boot into download mode and use ODIN but wondered how I should use it to install a ROM as none of the ROM's I've downloaded, are in the correct .tar, md5, smd format, that OSIN is looking for ?
Some pretty basic reading for you: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1321268

First of all, I'm not sure if this is the answer your looking for, but here is it anyway.
IN PC ODIN, there is a 'PDA' button (same button you flashed your kernel to), you need to download the ROM's zip file and flash it from there.
Stock ROM file you download is zip, you need to extract it one time to get into .tar, then you can use that file with pda of odin.

Would these be the files needed to get my phone back up and running? I am new to Android and screwed my phone up after a factory reset, now it just reads downloading for ages and does nothing. I still get a screen that reads Hyperdroid RedPill Recovery when i power on with volume button up pressed. Volume down I get Android man and it reads downloading but does nothing.
I have looked all over for this situation but seem to get a piece here and there and not the exact same issue all in one so I am reluctant to just do something and make it worse.
Please advise
That is downloading mod, it won't do anything but remain as it is, if you don't do anything.
You need to connect you device to PC in this state and have to use odin
Read 1st line on my sign and read post#2, you will get full instruction, how to use odin.

[Q] Please Help a Noob

Samsung Captivate SGH_I897 running CWM 10.1.2. Does not recognize sim card, but sim card works in another phone. Looking for a modem that may work in the Memphis, TN area or any modem files at all, as well as instructions on how to flash it. Bought the phone cheap at a yard sale. A friend of mine has told me it is probably the modem file, but he isnt that familiar with androids, just the one he has. Could resetting back to stock and reflashing help? Or just reflash the modem?
Back to stock usually solves most issues. Please check your IMEI number given in the About Device page (do not post it here) with the number printed in the back of your phone to see if they match.
IMEI numbers match. Thank you for your reply.

@wnb_jr: Take a look at this sticky thread for a flashing guide, and attached to Post 1 is the Odin software you would need: [Stock ROMs](OneClicks Master Collection)+[Kernels (Stock & w/ CWM)]+[Modems] UPDATED. Links in my signature I would recommend following: Stock GB ROM+ Kernel, Modems. The ROM and Corn Kernel are Ginger Bread stock release KK4, and the Modems sticky thread has a link to a map where users tag which modem worked for them and in what area. And as always, have fun.
Quick version flashing to stock (mostly):
1. Download "I897UCKK4 Odin One Click - Stock, NO Bootloaders, Re-partition, Full Wipe" and extract. (Stock GB ROM link)
2. Follow instructions from 4-2ndtwin contained in the txt file to flash the stock rom.
3. Download "Odin3v1.85.zip" and extract. (Stock ROMs OneClicks Master Collection post #1)
4. Download Odin flashable version of Corn Kernel 7.06. (Kernel link)
5. Run Odin3 v1.85.exe. Load Corn kernel into the PDA slot of Odin. Connect your phone in Download Mode to your computer, wait until Odin recognizes it, and click Start. When Odin displays the big green PASS, disconnect the micro USB from your phone.
6. Reboot your phone into Recovery (typically holding down three buttons Volume Up, Down, and Power until the phone reboots, then when you see the initial splash screen come up let go of the buttons). Navigate the Recovery menus and find the option to Root and install SuperUser.
7. Profit. Now that you're back to Stock with root and SU, you can go anywhere from there- flash other ROMs if you want (now on you can flash them through Recovery instead of Odin). Backup options in Recovery are referred to as 'Nandroid backup'. Recovery is also known as CWM or ClockWorkMod recovery. If necessary check out the Modems thread. Any issues connecting your phone may be answered in 4-2ndtwin's thread Captivate - PC Connection Issues, Download Mode and Recovery Mode Help.

[Q] Noob try to root Samsung Galaxy S i9000

Hi all,
firstly I would like to mention that I know that there are a lot of tutorials how to do this..but..I currently can't find the instructions to the latest "stock ROM" (I think its JW6 - if I am not correct feel free to correct me) root..
I would like to know these things:
1) How to root mentioned phone with this ROM?
2) I am not pretty sure but with my HTC WildFire S I didn't need to flash "kernel"? What it is and am I right that i need to flash it?
3) Will I have recovery (like CWM, ..) right after root or will I need to make some more to get recovery?
Sorry for posting this kind of answers - I think that they are already answered but I am little "confused" from information which I get from the internet.. I have already rooted and flashed custom ROM to my HTC WildFire S but with Samsung it looks for me quite "strange" and I really don't know what to do and I also don't want to end up with broken phone..
Thx all which will help me
First you need to download Odin and the Samsung USB driver.
Then download the root file from here. Search for JW4 since there is no root file for JW6. JW4 will work just fine.
Unpack the root file you downloaded.
Boot your device into Download mode by holding down the volume down + home + power buttons.
Open Odin and click AP. Then select the root file (.tar) you downloaded.
Connect your device to the computer and click Start (Make sure re-partition is not checked).
That's it.
Yes you will have CWM Recovery. To boot into CWM Recovery hold down the volume up + home + power buttons.
Hope this helps.
Guys, last compatible version of Odin for i9000 was 1.83, period.
Use JVU or JVZ as only those contain the bootloader you need for any 4.x custom ROM, no other Gingerbread firmware contains it.
@KoFiler on HTC you needed just a custom recovery. Here is the same, but as the recovery can not be flashed on i9000 separately, the package "zImage" contains also the kernel. So you must find a custom kernel that matches the firmware and flash it with Odin to get the custom recovery in package.
