Bricked, no flash mode, only fastboot - Xperia SP Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I got my Xperia SP bricked, on boot loop showing Sony logo all over again and red LED turning on and off. I tried getting into the flash mode, but I can do that only for about 10 seconds, after that Flashtool shows "Device disconnected". The LED goes from green to off, to the red with Sony logo for a moment, and then back to the green, showing 100% battery charged icon and Flashtool says "Device connected with USB debugging off". I can't fix it using PC or Xperia Companion. I tried on another computer and got the same result, flash mode works just for a moment. When connected to the PC, it see my phone as "mass storage device". The only thing I can do is get into fastboot, but I have locked bootloader... Please help

then try and get stock kernel and flash through fastboot that should fix problem if not then try going on flashtool and exclude everything exept kernel and when it asks to connect u might get lucky and it flashes it very quick, only other option try downgrading flashtool http://www.flashtool.net/downloads.php pick bottom one

[Q] Stuck with c6602

Hi All,
Please help me.
I'm stuck with my XZ C6602 it is not going into flash mode.
I'm able to connect it in fast-boot mode but not in flash mode.
Every time i Does it the green light blinks and goes off.
However flash tool detects it in flash mode but only for 2 mins then device disconnects and restarts.
I have locked boot loader.
I have tried every thing re installing flashtool and all drivers but nothing works.
Please suggest me what to do.?
Should I have to unlock my bootloader for it or is there is any other workaround ?
Experts solve my problem.
if the led turns green then goes off you are in flash mode. at 1st i also thought the phone doesn't go in flash mode but the led doesn't stay green all the time. Try another usb port/cable or try to flash on a different computer cause it might be a drivers or usb port related problem

E6533 Unable to flash device (no flashmode, only fastboot)

Hi,
I faced with a problem what I never seen before:
The device works normally, its on 28.0.A.7.24. I tried to update with PC Companion, it recognized the device as E6533, and offered new software.
Once process started, it downloaded, then phones rebooted instead goes to flash mode. After it (until next reboot), phone completely gone mad:
overheated, not asked for pin code, also IMEI was not available etc.
I tried with Flashtool too, but holding VolumeDown not works. It close to immediatelly drops the boot screen, and never enter flashmode.
Had anyone meet with this issue? How could I fix it?
Fastboot mode is working fine by holding VolumeUp, but flashmode not.
Thanks for help,
Your driver usb may be update,,new pc/laptop come with usb 3

Is my Z3C dead?

Hello, I tried to flash kitkat, I run flashtool and start flashing it but after a while in the middle of flashing it says device disconnected. After that if I connect it to my PC in flashmode it says it has a problem with this device, I can see it in the device manager as an unknown device, device ID is USB/UNKNOWN, fastboot mode says its a sony ADB interface but when I click on it it says it cannot run this device, the device ID is USB/VID_0FCE&PID_0DDE&REV_0100. Is there any way I can repair it? If I try to power up my phone the sony logo appears and it says the software update failed. If I connect it to charger its the same, no battery appears. If someone know how to rescue it please reply, I buyed it yesterday and its already broken
Now I check it on flashtool, after I connect the usb while pressing vol up button it says device connected in fastboot mode but when I click on check current device status it says device status: not found, also get device info says this action can only be done in fastboot mode
And now my PC doesn't notice if something is connected, no device problem pop up, just nothing. Now when I connect it to the charger the led flash red one short time and nothing
EDIT: now i charged it for a while and PC see it again, on charging bootloop with software update failed
Try to flash stock firmware with flashtool and see if it even recognizes it.

I cannot connect the Xperia 1 II to computer under flashmode.

My Xperia 1 II (XQ-AT52) fall into reboot loop that cannot get into system. So I tried to flash it by Sony Companion and flashtool. I pressed the volume down key when it turned off. After few seconds the green LED turned on, i connected it to computer over USB cable, but my computer did not recognize the phone. Strangely, I can connect it to computer under fastboot mode(the blue led turned on)! I have already installed flashmode drive and fastboot driver. Help me plz, THANK YOU.
When my XQ-AT51 fall into reboot loop, my only way (I'm not an expert, just playing with my device) was to relock the bootloader
fastboot oem lock
And made softare repair with Xperia Companion.
(After that I found my IMEI un the SIM card tray to get the code for unlocking the bootloader)
Hope it helps!
