Hi
Maybe I shouldn't ask the same question again under a different heading. I'mean just trying to bring the question to somebody's attention.
Can anyone tell me what kind of a sound chip is installed in my Samsung Galaxy S2 9.7? Is it a Wolfson chip?
Thanks

Hi all,
I need some advices, I would like to buy a tablet and I see 2 models :
Galaxy Tab GT-P1000
Dreambook W7
I hesitate because :
Galaxy Tab has a proprietary port (Not USB) but has a good community. DreamBook has standard connection port, but seems to have almost no support/community.
What do you think ?
Thanks for your answer.
Denis
I assume this is what you're referring to:
http://www.synrgic.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=95&Itemid=192&lang=en
Only advantages i see are the ports built in like HDMI, but battery is less than Tab 7 and Tab has better PowerVR SGX gpu.
The rest of the specs seem even to the Tab, but i trust Samsung build quality myself.
Are you seriously debating Proprietary USB vs Dev community support??
There is no contest, If you want support and developments go for Tab.
By the way, Its you want "some advice" not you want "some advices"
We ported a lot of nexus roms .Why nobody port ex this rom: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1566304&highlight=xperia ?Why we still dont have a true galaxy s2 firmware port? Sgs is dying? Long time ago i dont see a interesting rom(only stock 4.0 roms realanse on this forum). Sorry for bad english.
Wrong thread, wrong section, but to answer your question: Nexus S is almost the same in terms of hardware (same SoC, etc), so porting it is a lot easier than porting firmware from a completely different device. This has to do with stuff like drivers, hw acceleration, camera, bluetooth chip and so on. It doesn't mean the SGS is dying, but it's more a thing of lazyness. Or: why invent the wheel again whilst someone else has already invented it and made it better than you'll ever could
Hey guys, so i have a SGN N7000, i was wondering if there is anyway for it to run on mobilicty here in Toronto. I initially thought it wasn't possible until i came across someone saying something about being able to flash an AWS compatible antenna to the phone, and that its on here.
I am a bit of a noob at this, so i have no idea where to start and how, could someone kindly give me a quick run through of what needs to be done.
Thanks.
Hello, I am about to upgrade to a I9305. But before i got ahead I would like to know if anyone got information on the DAC that LTE version of GS3 uses, is the same Wolfson DAC as the I9300 or a different one ?
As an audiophile, sound quality is very important to me so any info would be highly appreciated
Thanks
Think it's the same one as in the gt-i9300.
might be a revised version though.
Sent from my GT-I9300

I have a samsun A60 and from what i can understand it has a 32x (86 i think qualcomm calls it ) infrastructure running on hardware that is 64x capable (qualcommSDM450 xd03) do i understand that correct?
And if i do understand it correct i would like to change that ,make it 64x. I think i need to root my phone for that? or can i do it another way?
this started because a game got updated and cant be played on the A60 anymore ,my 5year old uses that phone and plays that game,we both play it and now we cant. But at this point i need to just understand if i understand it at all, thank you so much
