Puzzled . How do you check SOT screen on time on P9 ? - Huawei P9 Questions & Answers

Hi all,
Got my hot P9 and for the second day I am puzzled how to find stats on SOT? On my Moto G 3 gen it would be simple as cake but the P9 IS the any way apart from Huawei display calibration tools because I found colours too saturated. I work with calibrated monitor and that bugs me a little.
Thanks

Spare Parts - Accurate Battery Readout?

Hey all, I was wondering about Spare Part's Battery percentage counter and its accuracy. I'm kind of OCD about the battery right now because I want to know exactly how long it will last on regular usage.
Anyway, I took it off the charger at about 6:30 AM this morning after an alarm, had another alarm and had about 4 calls. Messed with it a bit (Twitter and Gmail, etc) and went to work. It was at 100% until about 10:30/11 AM (quite a while) until I went installing Handcent SMS.
I tested it out and checked the battery. It was at 97%. Every 5 or so minutes, I checked the battery and it would go down a percent every time. Already uninstalled Handcent SMS as I thought it might be doing something.
It's 11:40 AM now and battery 88%.
I have Gmail to only sync my mail and it hasn't synced since 9 this morning, no calendar and contacts because contacts sync quite often and I didn't need it to. Twitter is set to sync every 2 hours. Those are the only things that have any syncing ability really.
Last night I had the phone in standby for about 3 hours and it was at 48% that whole time.
Mobile network is off since I'm on Wifi.
Is Spare Parts just catching up to the battery? Are there any apps to get the battery % in the status bar on top? Thanks guys!

I don't know anything about spare parts, but I do know that wifi really drains the battery. You said last night I had the phone in standby, was the screen (thus the wifi) on during the whole day?
It's turned of when put in standby so it's logical it doesn't drain the battery then.
Ok, I have solution. I've found Battery Monitor v1.0.5 and finally it shows the percentage in the status bar

What if you have the status bar black...the text of the percentage is also black. Is there a way to change the text color?
EDIT: I found out that when you are in the status bar press the Monitor and once it gets to the blue screen where you have to enable it press menu and settings and the only option there is to change font color.

[Q] Battery always show 100%

Deleting batterystats.bin from /data/system doesn't help
what else can I do?
sort of the same problem
even when the battery is down to like 20% it still shows 90% on status
i just ignore it completely and use a third party battery meter like Gauge Battery Widget
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=8124361&postcount=46
it's simply the best!
@op, do you mean the battery indicator in the notification bar always shows full or when you check the status screen? there were quite a few times when i would delete the battery stats on my nexus one and the battery status would show 100% for 5 hrs or so, but eventually it would start to drop. once i fully charged it again it would work normally. one of the few things i hate about the galaxy s is that the battery meter in the notification bar is so out of whack. i hate having to check the settings page all the time and i stopped using battery apps due to battery drain
use the widget/status bar icon i recommended above
Allgamer:
Thank you but my problem was battery showing 100% all the time, it doesn't metter if I use widget or other method.
hondaguy:
Thank you
evantually it started dropping (after few hours)
now it's o.k.
The Galaxy S will show in the notification bar as '100%' untill the 75% mark is reached.

Question Short battery life

Hi everyone. I have owned this smartphone for 7 months. In the beginning everything was fine. The battery lasts a very short time. I checked different roms, there is no difference, the battery status says it is healthy. Checked by several methods. What could be the cause? SOT is only 3-4 hours and it was much more. Not enough for an average used day. Please help.

You said you checked on different roms so there's a possibility that the battery isn't displaying the correct percentage of the phone. If you experience phone turning off even if not on 0% or having the battery percentage stuck for a long time and then starts draining fast then it means your battery is not calibrated and you need to calibrate it to give the correct reading. As far as I know, no matter how many roms you change, no rom can calibrate battery as it is untouch when roms are being overlayed in the system. If battery calibration doesn't work then try restricting apps and forcing doze on your phone. Last option is to start considering a new battery replacement if you want.

One thing I found would drain the battery in a matter of hours is anything to do with the proximity sensors. Turning on pocket detection would literally cut my battery life in half. Lift to wake and always on display will also decrease battery life. While 120hz refresh is nice, it also shortens battery life. Dark themes on this phone will extend battery life. Amoled screens display black by not turning on the led pixels where black is supposed to be. Just my two pennies...

Yes especially double tap to wake and aod for me kills the battery super quickly. Im guessing it has to do with the miui firmware not properly turning off the sensors during deep sleep. Even a rom maintainer said that aod seems buggy too. Also another factor that drains battery is heat, and rn10pro is notorious for heating up quickly (literally few pics and went from 31C-38C). Frequent heating can cause permanent damage on battery and it'll surely decrease its capacity and lifespan.
Now it is good. Less 10%, sot is 1h. So I think 8h will be during the day. I noticed that the wake-ups had a continuous line now it is intermittent. I think everything is back to normal. Thank you all

Battery calibration pro 1.4 and wiping battery stats with lspeed
(Wiping battery stats is a myth as far as I know, it doesn't contain any persistent long-term data, it gets updated continuously.)
on a similar note, does anyone know why the "Battery usage-->Manage Battery usage" setting gets resetted to optimized from restricted all the time within a few days on A12? I'm witnessed this behaviour on all the A12 roms for sweet(currently on PixelOS) and have never found an answer nor a solution. Has it got anything to do with the automatic permission disable feature since A11? Anyone noticed this? Its frustrating to set that to restricted manually for every app every few days. Thanks!

Xiaomi.eu 13.0.8 Now checking nusantara. A long time ago I read that flashing a new rom should end up wiping stats
