I keep finding references to unlocking phones that have been google locked but very little and nothing that has worked to get past the Samsung account locked setup page due to abnormal factory reset. Picked up an S6 AT&T branded for cheap cause the guy said it was Google locked. Not so, it is Samsung locked. I can bypass Google FRP but not Samsungs. Phone is running Marshmallow 6.0.1. IMEI data says it is clean and ready for activation. Serial number is not blacklisted. I can get into the phone settings but cannot change the account information. I even went to Samsung and registered a new account and this phone with the IMEI. Still wouldn't let me log in, says "processing failed." Wondering if rolling it back to lollipop would let me access or clear the Samsung account data. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
How did you solve the problem? I have SM-G920A and fw PDJ1 marshmallow 6.0.1

Forgotten pin code?

Not sure about this but I assume it is a case of forgotten Pin code. If not, excuse my assumption. Turn the phone off, take out the battery, put the battery back in, hold volume up, home and power up the phone in Recovery mode. Do a factory reset. This should remove all settings, including the forgotten Pin code.
Isn't this dangerous (brick bug) if it's on ICS?

Never thought I would have to make this kind of thread... But anyway. I was going to update to 4.3. So I updated to the new firmware. That ran fine and I figured I should wipe my phone. When I got to twrp I noticed the buttons weren't working. So I shut down and restarted normally. Phone boots up fine, but the screen still isn't working. Then I noticed that twrp had a new version. So I download that, but flashing from fastboot doesn't work. It gets to writing recovery then fails(remote: not allowed). I am s-off. SO CONFUSED
tldr: phone screen is not working, can not update to twrp 2.6.3.0 to flash a 4.3 rom
Downgrade tp firmware to 1.29...will send link.

Excellent question. The note 3 had this option but I haven't seen it in any note 4 rom.

They are located in the phone app settings. At least that is where mine are located.
If you can not locate them, I would do a backup and restore of your current firmware to see if that fixes the issue.
No setting for volte??

You're phone is doing it automatically.
On att and t mobile it's automatic.

For AT&T and T-Mobile users, there is no setting you need to apply to your account or any interaction with customer service at all. They upgrade the network equipment to allow VoLTE traffic, and if your phone is capable it works. Not all phones are capable, and some — like the Galaxy Note 3 — need to be on the latest software. It's likely that all future "flagship" models will be VoLTE capable.
Not true. Tmobile has the options to turn it off.

Go to the dial pad itself. Press the settings button in the upper right corner with the three dots. This setting menu has the option.

I clean installed Xnote-V3 port by Turilo. The baseband is the latest NK4.
This is what the settings menu under the dialer app shows.

Okay I figured out what the problem is. The contacts application X-note Rom uses is the international version instead of the Tmobile version which is 4.4.4-N910TUVU1ANK4.
I am going to try restoring the Tmobile version using Nandroid manager.

Yeah I was going to suggest that it was the rom considering it is a port to T-Mobile and could have issues. Glad you thought of that to.:good:

Factory reset it and leave it charging. The update will begin. Also if you need to root use the tool in the development forum

I had a developer version on my watch. Watch reset didn't do anything. I did attempted to flash it, but obviously didn't get something right and at this point my watch showing green android with red thanks on top and asking to sideload a file.
You will need to sideload the stock rom now. If you search the entire forum the answers are there. I am very busy or I would be able to help you out more.

Hello everyone, I just bough a Note 9 The model version is SM-N960U but the baseband is N960USQS1ARH6, I have tried to update it manually, but nothing happens, I have read a lot and most of the people is waiting for Android pie, why i'm still on September 01 2018 security patch? any help with this? I feel really sad I changed my note 8 for this note 9 (long history) just to try and be on Android pie, and now I´m farther than when I had my note 8. PLEASE HELP!
Just use Odin to update to ARL2, and then if you want go to setting check software updates. Or change date in settings see if that kicks it in..but if you want to go to Pie just use Venoms thread he has Odin for Pie.
