hi. i have my lg o2x for about 4 days but i have a problem with the notifications of the emails.if the phone is in standby it doesn't inform me if i received a email until i refresh the account. i upgraded the software but nothing changed, is someone who has experienced this problem and what can i do to resolve it? pls help
I can guess... You mean your push mail for HOTMAIL??
Well, hotmail and gmail are different. Gmail have some instant push thingy whereas hotmail don't.
Cheers I guess only
Open e-mail app, go to settings and enable auto retrieve, after that under the accounts header select your e-mail account and set the retrieve interval to 15 mins (or to the duration you want).
Hope this helps, this is what I did to solve the issue.

Hi all,
My twitter account keeps on disappearing from the phone, like I never configured it and I have to re do the process everyday, even twice per day.
I am using the "official" twitter app.
I have tried adding the account directly from main options but no case, sooner or later it disappears and I have to configure it again.
This does not happen with facebook or gmail account.
I am using Froyo last version.
Anyone experienced this?
Thank you!
I'm having the same problem. After reboot or wiping my browser cache. Using inspire 4g/cyanogen.

Hello guys,
I've used an iphone and a Galaxy S3 before I bought this Htc One, and I didn't have any issues at all with automatic receive in the email app.
But on HTC One the only way I see new emails, is when I enter the app.
I've turned Smart Sync On, but the is no difference at all.
Sorry for my bad english, and thanks for your help.
Hi Mannie,
There are 2 settings you'll want to check.
Within the email client go into Settings -> Sync, Send & Receive and set the sync schedule settings.
Next go into the phones Settings -> Auto sync and make sure Auto sync is On and under the Manage Accounts section that "Mail" is in the list of managed accounts.
Cheers,
Ken
Also make sure your data is on ie 3g or 4g

Yes!I have experienced this Issue.Just Reboot the phone it will solve the problem. If it doesn't solve the problem clear the app data and login again. It will definitely Solve th issue.
Btw Other Google apps working w/wifi?
I've had this same problem, however along with this issue it would also reset my account settings for all of the email accounts I had linked with it. For example, it would change Sync emails from: All to Last Week. Had to reinstall the app to fix this.
Hey guys, checking in to see if anyone else is experiencing the same problems/has found a solution to it.
So I have an Exchange Account supplied by my University, which automatically syncs all my lectures into my calendar, along with the E-Mails from my .edu adress.
It has been working flawlessly on my OnePlus 3 and I just switched to the P20 Pro yesterday. However, I tried setting up my exchange account as 'exchange' as well as 'Microsoft exchange', and the sync goes through (so it's able to login on the servers), and I also receive the E-Mails, but no lectures appear in my calendar?
I've tried deleting the data from my calendar app and re-syncing it, to no success. Deleting and re-adding the exchange accounts is not helping either.
Anyone here have a clue?
Much appreciated!
Jan
Did you enable this calendar account in the calendar app settings? Sometimes, syncing takes a while especially when "all events" is enabled.
I've had similar issues with my Mate 10, and didn't get my Exchange account to work reliable. Finally sold it. Otherwise, you have to buy a phone with known working software. On LG G6 and HTC U11 I had no issues with Exchange, from start.
Would be nice to receive some feedback, if I should send back the P20 Pro without opening the package, or to keep it.
The same thing with my p20 pro
I use outlook for all my emails, can you not use this and see if same issue?
Hello, sorry for bumping an old thread.
I encounter this issue where the mail will sync but not the calendar, this is on my p30 pro but I suspect it will be similar to mate 20 and p20 and similar phones.
My solution was to go into Settings ->Apps->Apps-> Gmail -> permissions. Then Add permission for gmail to access the calendar. After this I went into the account settings to force a sync and it worked.
I hope this is helpful for someone.
Cheers!
