So this happened yesterday I was using this phone for like 4 days without any problems, I was on stock lollipop rom which I had flashed 4 days ago with proper pit file using Odin. Yesterday I was using it normally and I restarted the phone just like that and phone died on me. No response I tried battery pull, recharged, used 3 different cables, 2 different chargers but no reaction.
I connected it to my pc and it was recognized as "qhsusb_bulk", kies and smart switch doesn't recognize my phone. I had Googled it and got to know my phone is hard bricked
Now I m stucked what am I supposed to do, I don't have another working note 4 to make a debrick image. I searched it everywhere but couldn't find the unbrick image for N910t.
Please help
This is debrick.image I made for n910t

Pit file not necessary and official stock firmware allready contains bl and modem but you must flash official stock firmware to have clean install after that you can root again and flash any rom you want.

Well today I went to Samsung service center and they gave me an estimate of 290 dollars for the replacement of motherboard . While a new note 4 is available for around 410 dollars.
I m stucked..
This problem can be because of upgrading and flashing rom he told me.

Thats really sad but maybe you can go any repair centre instead of samsung and ask for ( JTAG) solution they can install firmware via jtag tool and much cheap instead of replace motherboard. And also try usb JIG if you can buy 1 online its cheap less then 10 bucks or borrow 1 from someone if you can and it can force to take your brick phone directly to download mode if you are lucky enough.

why I cant connect to wifi after flushing?
if you have ANY problem with booting/running your samsung phone, just reflash ROM:
a)bring phone in Download mode again (Turn it with pressing HOME+VOLUME DOWN+POWER buttons )
b) if you get display with showing image: computer connected to phone with broken cable, JUST simply connect it again to PC (better to another usb port) and run ODIN again!
that's my experience with SG3 and SGS+
so.. i have my samsung gsplus in downloading mode, what now???
it's like 10 minuts now
ow and now i even don't get it in download mode anymore.
Have the phone-pc logo.
odin won't connect..
can someone pleaze help me???
take out the battery
wait like 2-3 min
insert it again
boot into download mode and flash a stock rom via odin
ok phone is now in dowload mode again.
Won't set up a connection in odin :s
error: cannot open the usb serial port. code: 5
EDIT: ow that was becouse KIES was open.
Now it almost started bus ODIN freezes :s
try another usb port
or another computer
wauw haha thank you, just another usb port did the job

well there is no speedmod k2 16 kernel for our device
so you flashed a kernel for an other device thats the reason why your phone got bricked
never flash a kernel which is built for an other device !!!!
You Flashed a Kernel for SGS, so that was predictable. Perhaps you can get into download mode through USB-JIG (just use search)

Hi
Firstly, I'm sorry about my incorrect english.
I have a big problem with my rooted Galaxy Note Stock ICS 4.0.4.
After a phone restore (done in the Options menu) I encountered a boot problem.
When I turn the phone on, I see the white Galaxy Note GT-7000 writing and then
the Samsung Galaxy boot logo which continues flashing all the time but the
OS isn't booting. There isn't a boot loop which restarts the phone, only the blinking
Samsung animation.
I do really not know much about Android, rooting, flashing etc so I don't know what
is the problem and what I can do to fix it.
Recently I did a data/factory reset and cache partition wipe in the recovery mode,
hoping that this could help, but that didn't change anything.
After that I flashed another stock rom (ICS 4.0.4 Switzerland (Swisscom)) with
Odin in download mode, but there's still the endless boot problem.
I read about brick and that its not recommended to wipe anyting.
What could be my problem and how could I resolve it?
I'm sorry if theres just another thread which speaks about the same problem, but I
didn't find anyone with the identical situation as mine.
I'm very grateful for any answers.
hmm.. it could be because of data partition corruption..
download this http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?ukk00n20dahxxkp
place it on external SD.. boot into recovery and choose apply update from ext storage
once done. boot into recovery again.. now ... in the new CWM. do
factory reset., wipe cache partition
advanced menu> wipe dalvik cache
reboot
Hi,
thank you for your answer. But perhaps as I turned the phone on the first time
since yesterday (i didn't do anything since), I'm not anymore able to go into recovery mode
and the boot process ends just at the white Galaxy Note writing (without bootloop, there's
only the static text)
Only the download mode works fine, but obviously I cant install your file from there...
If you can get into download mode, better flash a stock ics rom first. After the flash is successful you can try to do the procedure as in my previous post.
I tried to flash different roms (also stock ones) but the download of the "factoryfs.img" doesn't finish.
The only thing I could do is to interrupt the downloading and restart from the beginning.
I read that this problem happens sometimes and that it could be resolved rebooting the phone and
the pc, but I didn't got it working
Do you know why it doesn't work? The first time I flashed successfully, but that was the first and the last time.
I don't even get an error or a fail notification...

If Odin stops at "factoryfs.img" you bricked your device.
(I wrote this and the following lines a few times now in the last days, but the different OP are consequently ignoring the message and try other intelligent approaches, in the end they will not succeed, because their Note is still bricked).
Solution: Samsung replaces your motherboard (that is the only real repair).
Workaround: eMMC scanner and repartition trick in hg42's threads.
Nothing else will help if your device is bricked.

You said something about loosing 3 GB repartitioning the memory. Its possible to revive the phone by this way?
Does anyone know approximately how much it will cost me to replace the motherboard of the Note?
download this PIT file http://d-h.st/FVh
now put the phone in download mode again, open odin and select the PIT file in the PIT tab. also make sure repartition is checked.
select the rom in PDA (if more that one file for rom, choose appropriate options)
connect the phone .. when the port is shows in odin flash again,,, check if this also stops at the same factoryfs

if you have warranty thats the first one to do. if not then there is a way by repartitioning the memory to skip the bad blocks, not a guaranteed method but works most of the time. cost of motherboard is high about 350-400$
One final try. If you are able to go recovery mode, pressing volume up, home, power buttons, flash abyss kernel 4.2, do all wipes and formats and flash a custom rom such as kingdroid.

Thank you for your attempt helping me. Perhaps the flashing still fails (factoryfs.img could not be downloaded entirely).
Damn, 350-400$ only for the motherboard is a lot, considering that I bought this almost new phone for around 340$...
Isn't there any other way to get rid of the "brick"? I would accept any loss of memory just to get the phone working...
By the way is it a soft- or a hardbrick?

I think you have the same problem as me dude. Mine was bricked form installing wrong recovery.

The answer to mine is service centre or jtag (find local phone repair shop if still not in warranty)
Lets hope you have some luck.

This is solution to both ur problems .... download and install Samsung USB drivers on ur PC
Then go to download mode
Now ur Odin will detect ur device
Flash stock rom via Odin
Y do u want to go to service center when its so simple :what::what:
Ubuntu themed launcher...! click here

Coz it costs pretty much. So, try it to repair yourself or go, better buy a new phone than giving it to center.

I can get odin to see the phone but it does not show on the screen "Download" so i think it is hardbricked. If i could see it on screen i am sure it would work but no. Tried in windows 8/7 and xp 32bit and x64. No joy. I went to phone shop he quoted me £30.
Sorry Bro!! Its nothing more you can do now...

I had installed by mistake the S5570 oficial firmware on my ace and i resolved like this:
1º Remove batery, sim card and sdcard
2º Conected to computer
3º At same time use the 3 buttons to enter in downloading mode and put the battery ( you need to ask for help because u cant do this alone)
4º Install your desire firmware by odin
PS: Sorry for my bad english
My phone goes into rampdump volume up + home + power or emergency dload volume up& down + home + power, but the phone is not responsive I am trying to unbrick my phone and I only have those options along with download which does not allow me to flash my phone. Just want to know what those options do and if there is any commands I can use while in those modes, ramdump or emergency dload?
Thanks

What kind of phone do you have?
Will your phome boot?
Download mode should allow you to flash your phone. That's what it is meant for. That's how I unbricked my SGH-S730M, I put the phone imto download mpde and used a flashing program on my computer.
Since I own a Samsung device I used Odin.

I have gt- s5830D trying to get some help because it's bricked beyond I believe. Tried flashing it and it just reboots when samsung appears.
any thoughts?
Thanks.
Just read your other thread. You are only supposed to flash PDA when flashing a rom. That's is how I bricked my SGH-S730M. I clicked on the PHONE button instead of the PDA. You need to fimd someone who is willing to give you all of their flash images for that phone.
You may have hard bricked your phone.
Go to this thread, they will be able to help you. They should have the files you need.

It is 1:16 AM where I live. I need to go to bed.
Post your circumstance on this thread. Tell them that you need all of the files for odin.
IF YOU DID NOT FLASH THE BOOTLOADER (USING ODIN) THEN YOU PROBLABLY DID NOT.HARD BRICK YOUR PHONE.
You can still boot, so that is a good sign.

PM (private message) the original poster (labeled OP) of the tread. I'm sure he will be able to help you if you tell him what is wrong with your phone.
You should only need the PDA, PHONE, and CSC files (they are not the same file, the tread I linked will explain this in a lot more detail).
DO NOT TOUCH THE BOOTLOADER BUTTON IN ODIN UNLESS YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING!
You do not need boot files.
It is okay to flash with Odin without using all of the buttons.
All you need to do is follow the instructions to install stock rom. I wish I could help you more than I have, but they will know how to fix your problem more efficiently.
I wish you luck!

HI, i´ve search, but just want to confirm if is there any other option, to revive my ace.
I´ve uptdate tne mobile with kies, at middle it stoped, and just display " donload" at the scren , after the error on kies, it power off and boot only to blank screen, nothing more.
Using the " jigKik" , it will whork?
Many thx.
Samsung Ace s5830
Just see if you are able to go to the DOWNLOAD MODE.
If you can then you can easily flash your firmware through ODIN
When the phone is off, press Home + Power + Volume Down and hold.
If 'downloading' appears, you can flash a stock ROM and revive your ace.

i think you are not bricked.try dl mode and never update with kies!!

Just to make sure, did you get the yellow "downloading...." word on screen before using the Odin. Because you say the phone is blank when using the Odin.

Have you closed all kies.exe processes? I read somewhere that you can unplug and re-plug the usb when it stuck on "setup connection", but I'm not sure 'cause I didn't tried.
