Hello!
My Motorola Moto X 2014 (xt1097) just plug in Qualcomm HS- USB 9008 QDLoader way. I can't access the fastboot pressing power button + volume -. It only shows a green led when pluged on usb or charging cable. I did a downgrade 5.1 to 4.4... When I was installing the zip to upgrade 4.4 to 5.0,the screen turns off and don't turns on anymore. Please, HELP MEEEE!!! :crying::crying::crying:
You need to flash blankflash for your bootloader. Ask the files for that in this thread: https://forums.motorola.com/posts/b6cb5537f5
Also email Motorola corporate in your country to see if they can help you.

i was on lineage os, but after that i flash stock firmware 5.1 thrgh command prompt. all done well and device booted after that i got security patch upadate 2016. while installing that update in recovey mode my phone goes off. after that i cant boot mobile i think its hard brick. i am unable to open bootloader too. tried all key combination but nothing happn when i connect phone to pc no devices detected but somtimes green light blink. on phone. i have installed all driver i.e adb and motorola and qualcomn one. but unable to detect device on pc . anyone know solution plz hlp meee. my devices is xt1052 retail asia

You cant install that update while you were using roms, check videos about to revive the moto x from hard brick

found one video but when he connect device somthing like hqsusb appers. but in my case nothing happn when i cnnt device to pc. if u find any hlpful video plz provide me link
After an update with fastboot I restart and do not turn on, no recovery no fastboot mode.
please help!!!
the pc recognizes it as Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008
First, you need to wait for the battery to drain completely.
Then you need to prepare an sd card and boot from it.

I have the same issue. Moto e4 plus xt1776 completely dead after trying stock rom installation. Even I tried with sd boot image but y failed. i have the same issue but with the xt1775 moddel, do not turn on, no recovery no fastboot mode nothing, and dont know how to start to make alive again, and the pc only said unknown usb device (device descriptor request error)

Will you ever try to download another version of the rom or are you insisting on trying to install the same rom?
My device is the XT1773 if I have a version of my rom that when I try to flash it it leaves my device "dead".
and when i try another version my phone starts
normally.
Remember, you need to have your device drivers installed correctly.

Maybe you remember where you downloaded? 3 days and can't find it foe this model. Any info may help.
