I found the answer. You can do it, you have to set it up on your Google account page. They generate a 16 digit access code that allows just that app to bypass the 2 factor authentication. Pretty nice.

Unless you changed it, your username should be your email address. Go to Samsung.com on a computer or another phone, and try resetting your password like was said with your email address. You should receive a temporary password to reset your account through an email, unless you don't remember your email address either.

Why coming back with same question again dude?
Read post 2,3,4,5,6,7,8 that should help you.
There is no "crack" or "hack" for it, wich is good in case someone tries to reset a stolen phone.

I would say it is safe to assume you might as well flush the phone, I don't know how one simply forgets the email they used for their Samsung account... It is one of your emails that you use, otherwise I'm going to say it is safe to assume this phone is stolen and NOBODY here will help if that's the case.

It is NEVER safe to ASSUME someone is a thief / owns stolen phone or not.
He should read all posts I pointed out before here. That should help him.
I also pointed out there is no way or crack or hack for this phone he owns, it is a safety_inbuild something wich is good in case a phone gets stolen.
The person in question has had all the answers from us that could possible be helpful .
So it is pointless and not safe to ASSUME someone owns a stolen phone because you simply can not know that as a fact.
I am not going to discuss this any further with you but I think your posting is shamelessly ignorant by assuming something you can not know or even prove.

My note 5 sm n920c got stolen, it was protected with fingerprint security and back up pin. I changed my google password, unable to locate or wipe it through my google account, it says can't reach the device, and it doesn't show up in samsung account. What really bothering me is gallery(photos and videos)and other docs(unfortunately no back up either). Is there any way thief might get into my stuff??
Kindly share your expert opinion, I'm really worried about it
Thank you

Hey guys,
I am getting the message that 45 days are required to unlock my device.
Is there any way to get the unlock faster?
If someone would be willing to share their MI account for instant unlock, I would greatly appreciate it!
Nope there is no way. Just wait like us.
Try another version of mi unlock
Try this: https://forum.xda-developers.com/Mi-9/how-to/unlocking-bootloader-immediately-t3926424

Ups I didn't read that. Sry
So did creating a new Mi account and associating that with the device work (aka 'only' 360 hours) ? Otherwise I'd actually contact Xiaomi support if I were you; 45 days sounds kinda excessive ...

It didn't work. I tried a new account as well as a new SIM card.
Where do I contact xiaomi support?
I haven't tried contacting myself, but
1) Check out the 'support prequisites' at: https://account.xiaomi.com/pass/retrievePassport?type=pwd&_locale=en_US
2) Now try your most suitable (it's region-based) option on: https://www.mi.com/global/contact/
Searching through the Mi Forum and it's successor Mi Community, there is no specific solution mentioned, just 'wait it out'.
Which Mi 9 version do you have; the Chinese, Global or EEA (European) version ? Most topics about it seem to concern the Chinese version, that's why it might - or not - be relevant ...
I was able to get it unlocked with the help of an awesome XDA member!!!
Could you please send pm/write in thread who help you? I get the same problem. 42 days left ?

Jealous. Is there a work around or how was it done?
waiting period is for account, not for device. so what you need is an account already pass the waiting period.
The person who helped me just used their account to log into my phone and the MI unlock app to do the process. I am not sharing the name with anyone since I have not asked for the person's permission to do that.

Can someone help me?? I have the same issue... My account has a crazy long wait time ... Thanks for the help
Hello,
I really need your help!
Accept my apologies if this is not the right room to ask a question. I have just created an account and posting first time on forum.
I have Samsung Note 9 and I would love to know when 1 particular app (eg: Facebook messenger) was opened last time. I'm not sure how exactly I'm explaining myself. Hope it makes sense.
If you have any idea, please help me! |
p.s I have already tried to google the solution and all I'm getting is the secret code *#*#4636#*#* which does not work on my phone. I mean, when I dial it, it has not reaction.
Maybe there is some app in Play Store to help analyzing currently installed apps? particulary to show when the app was opened?
Thank you so much! I pray you can help!
