I'm curious as to why you believe that. If there are any higher capacity batteries out there that will fit in this phone, there is nothing technically speaking to stop them from working. And it would indeed seem that there are higher capacity batteries that will fit this and probably all variants of the Grand Prime...

is it good?
It was good as long as it lasted! LOL... After a few months it has become unusable, a full charge goes in a couple hours.... I replaced it with a regular one. I think chinese quality control was not so good.

Guess it didn't matter as long as it fits and powers it, I found my old galaxy s3 battery's all I had to do was remove the plastic from the bottom and Boom! It fit, its only 2100mah but u got two so that makes my battery life 2600+2100+2100 not too shabby, and so far I did not blow up ^_^

other than the extended battery which adds a huge amount of bulk to the hd2.
i would like to know are there any legit batterys that are what they say they are.
I believe it has been mentioned many times...u should check out the 1500 mah battery forum listed. So far people have been testing out the ANDIDA battery..still waiting for people to make a review.
im actually running the andida battery this moment.. its a 1500mAH battery over the standerd 1230mAH.. which makes the capacity 22% more.. which is about right for the performance... its very good and i do recomend them as i have had no problems with mine.. i will say tho they take a while to arrive and you might want to get a charging dock that charges an extra battery at the same time as the phone... so then you can carry an extra about if needs be..
hope this helped

don't spread bull**** to the readers here, Sam.
At this moment, there's no legit higher capacity batteries other than the official extended one and I believe one other from mugen batteries (1300mAh). The rest, even the 1500mAh andida one, is around stock battery capacity (~1200mAh).
Check out the 1500 standard battery thread..
just found this while looking for bigger battery, 2300mAh but it sticks out the back, web site is htcdirect.co.uk
just asked the question about cases that will owrk with it as well, will keep you posted
HTC HD2's extended battery with kickstand looks really good, think i might get 1 Not badly priced at £37.59

That's the difference between marketing shots and the real thing.
Not so beautiful anymore.
sam morgan is not spreading bad news as i also have the andida battery,... says 1600mAh, which may not be true, but it does have a longer live than the OEM, and andida, are very pleasant to deal with,...

Saw this listed on ebay, and wondered if anyone here has tried this out, and if so how does it compare to the Seidio 1750 mAh battery. Want to get peoples opinions/experiences before committing to buy this.

That may be, but that still doesn't stop the fact that it fits OEM style with no door upgrade. If this is good I will definately buy this irregardless of its origins.

Already have for the last two months. Using one in my phone right now. As far as I can tell they perform exactly the same as the original battery. They are ever so slightly wider, so you need to be a little firmer when installing or removing them.
I bought three of them, one of them seems to be taking longer and longer to charge, the other two are ok.
DX also has this one: which is a bit pricier, haven't tested that one though.

The ebay listing description says 3800 mAh but the photo below of the battery shows only 3000 mAh. Hmmmm.....
Hi..
So big, thx for this information !
dont bother with ebay batteries, they are terrible i owned one and it lasted a day at max, you get what you paid for.
Ive got the GSM model of Nexus S (non-4G). Is there a quality high-capacity battery for my phone? I already found some batteries with good user experience but all of them turned out to be for 4G only (because of the back cover). I was counting with Mugen 3900 as a sure thing but now I was told its not for my phone model. So ... what now?

Wondering about that too...
FYI, Mugen HK just emailed me that their 3900mAh battery is compatible with i9023, Im just not entirely sure the lady isnt mistaken ...
Hey,
I'm using Mackay ROM ICS and my battery recharges for a very long time..
I started recharging it 2 hours ago from 0% and now it's on 66%. Which means it will take 3 hours to charge from 0 to 100%.
I bought a new battery (Genuine.. atleast claims to be) from Ebay. Came yesturday.
It looks really good and high quality, even better than my old one that came with the device, which I bought from a known local cellphone band company in 2010.
How can I tell if the battery is genuine? It was really cheap, from Germany. Costs like 8$.
It weighs 35 grams while my old one is 33 grams. Plus my old one has lots of stickers from the company and all the warranty stuff, so it's probably even lighter than 33..
Thanks.
If its a new battery it'll take longer to charge than normal so give it time.

OK.. I will try.. But I realy doubt it's genuine although the graphics, build and feel look really good and authentic..
My original one has this little thingy in the bottom of the battery, in the middle of it. Like here:

The one I bought doesn't.. Like here:
Everything looks spot on. Just that middle thing is missing..
What do you think?
i can't tell if it's fake or not to be honest. only thing to do is let it fully change and see how long it lasts.
