How Can I Increase InCall Volume Without Root - Xperia Z3 Compact Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I am on stock 6.0.1 MM .291 rom and incall volume is not loud as normal phones( like Samsung s5 , iPhone 5S...) Can I increase the sound without rooting my phone? I read we can install viper4android without root. Does it increase incall volume ? http://www.gadgetts.com/2016/04/install-viper4android-on-any-android.html?m=1
Do you know any different methods?

Just press the volume button on the side of the phone!
Just kidding. The link you provided must be a joke or something because at the end of the instructions, it states, "NOTE:- All the above steps are only applicable if you have rooted your Smartphone"
So, you have to be rooted to manipulate the phone's output beyond what the UI will allow.

[Q] Adding more volume steps to the volume control

Hi all,
I don't know if some of you also think this way, but the volume setting has only 15 steps (with headphones plugged in) and that's a bit too few. On my Legend, using my in ear monitor earphones is almost impossible, it's too loud even on the first step.
Is there a way to add more steps? I mean in the "global" controls we get with the volume buttons. Is this somewhere in the code of android, or is this a hardware limitation to the Legend?

[Q] Louder earphone call volume

The calls volume seems too low for me, especially in noisy environments.
Looks like there are many ways to amplify the external speaker or the headphones output, but no way to increase the earphone calls volume. I've tried Viper4, Extra_Volume_Booster in both flavors, but no improvement. At the best it modifes the internal speaker or the headphones, but no improvement to the earphone volume.
Any possibility to increase the volume of the calls volume in the earphone speaker?
Thank you guys.
SONY Xperia SP 5303, 12.1.A.1.205, rooted
When in call you can make the phone go a bit louder by using the volume keys (it is not much but a bit) also there are some more settings under Settings > Calls/dialer perhaps you can take a look there...
~~ Regards
Thanks mrjraider, but I know that, those are regular features of every phone. Those are all maxed and active.
I was looking for an application or a way to mod the xSP in order to get a louder caller earphone volume.

Click to collapse
With an unlocked bootloader and rooted ROM you can use Williams or Doomlords kernel, depending on the ROM you intend to use.
Then install Fauxsound and increase all volumes.
There's really no other option that delivers the same results.
Thanks Gamm!

Speaker Sound without root

Hi can any one suggest how to increase the speaker sound without rooting the device... volume is very low in few cases....

G6 Call volume and Root question

I am looking to increase the base call volume for my dad's G6.
The speaker volume tops out lower than when listening to media
Just in case there is an easier way, is there a way to raise it?
If not, I need to root and raise it per this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wud2AGSS61c
So would I all the steps in https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g6/how-to/guide-twrp-root-magisk-installation-t3816569 just to root and adjust call volume? (haven't rooted anything since the Samsung S3, should be easy but don't want the tedium)

volume steps to big / media volume sync off?

I have a sony z3c with a broken microphone. So I thought, I can use this great phone as an music-, podcast- and audiobook-player. Just ike the Sony NW A100.
But when I connect a bluetooth speaker or headphone to that device there are only 15 steps to increase or decrease the volume. And the lowest volume possible is way to loud to listen podcast late at night on my JBL go 1 or 2. Also the volumechange between two steps is to heavy.
Normaly I use my Samsung Galaxy S8 to play audiofiles. There are also only 15 Steps to change the volume. But I can change “media volume sync” in the bluetooth advanced settings to change the volume of the smartphone and the speaker separately, which fixed my problem. On some sony smartphones in the developer options you can toggle "Disable absolut volume", but on my z3c this option is nowhere to be found.
But that’s not possible on the z3c. I tried apps like “Precise Volume“, some tweaks in the Xposed framework and ViPER4Android. Even some custom rom. But nothing worked.
With some tweaks or ViPER4 Android I could get the volume lower (by reduce the output gain or lover all frequencies in the EQ). But then, when I change the volume, sometimes 2 or 3 steps remain on the same volume.
Does any of you have any Idea how to help my with my problem? It’s been two month now, that I tried everything to fix it, but till today, I don’t found any solution...
idk exactly, but maybe you can take this a hint for furter research on that topic:
