Guyz,
I am from mumbai, india & have gone thru many posts on this forum regarding presence / absence of 3G on the HTC Diamond sold in india. I am about to buy this beauty, but please help me with the following (reply point-wise pls) :
1) As i understand there are two flavours of HTC diamond :
European version = 3G + front camera (7201A)
Indian version = 3G - Front camera (7206A)
2) MY doubt to all members, esp. our esteemed ROM cookers is that :
Are the ROM's posted in this forum (which are mostly for european version with front camera ) also work with indian model without camera ????
It might sound like a foolish doubt, but i am asking as there is a hardware difference between the two models as camera is not there in indian version.
await yr clarification, thanks everyone
Even I'm from Mumbai, India and yes to confirm your doubt the ROM will work. Don't worry.
Yup they work real smooth!!
I second that!
Hi,
Just picked up the Huawei Ascend P7 from the Australian Teleco Optus - trying to understand if there are updates to version 3.0 of EMUI? I cant seem to find much info or any firmware versions relating to this version of the phone I saw the update for Europe for the P7-L10 version? Any assistance would be great as have spoken a few times to Huawei direct and they dont know anything to help!!
Cheers

Hello,
To be honest the phone isn't that good at all, performance is kinda bad, chinese hardware, chinese software, no support for anything.
As far as I've searched on google, theres nothing about P7-L11 EMUI 3.0, sadly.
Even I am trying to exchange this phone for an LG Nexus 5 (older phone, made out of plastic, but higher performance with recent updates)
If I were you I would of gone back to the store and changed it for something more popular, since Huawei's P7 is the first 'flagship' phone introduced in 2014, yet its not popular at all with crappy performance but 'good' build quality (why would u wanna have 2 glass panels that are easily scratchable, and a camera lens thats made out of cheap plastic).
Sorry if I didn't help you very well, I've made the same mistake with this phone
Best regards,
James

sorry, a rare poster here but an avid reader! i'm sorry if this is in the wrong place but cannot for the life of me find any answer anywhere on the internet. i was hoping to get android 10 for my s10 5g. upon seeing sammobiles listings i happened accross a btu version which i assumed was united kingdom. was shocked to find aussie bloatware on it. is there a standard version for the uk or do they all have telstra bloatware on them? for the record i have a sm-g977b s10 5g provided by o2, unlocked. not fussed about a o2 version of the fw. just a standard light copy. any ideas and help much appreciated and apologies if posted in the wrong section, this place is a maze

the devices have multi csc and are usually based on region.. its possible they plan to sell that model in more places than uk.. its not uncommon for multiple carriers bloat to be in a firmware.. its usually hidden tho if not on said carrier

with root shouldmt be a problem.. if no root then u can disable/uninstall them but the actual apks will remain on the device.

Hi again. I thought i^d post here seeing as its still easy to find, i still have the s10 5g sm-g977b with a o2 fw
really looking forward to receiving android 11 but it seems o2 are totally pathetic at releasing updates so I'm still desperately looking for a android 10 uk btu file without the telstra bloatware to install. any ideas if there is one about? retried downloading the 10 btu and xeu but even to this day telstra bloat still exists on them. sure it never used to be like this. anyway, thought id ask some brighter minds a year or so later to see if there's one I've missed. thanks in advance for any help
I haven't updated my phone's firmware in ages but this is the version I've got on my BTU, it didn't come with any Telstra stuff https://www.sammobile.com/samsung/galaxy-s10-5g/firmware/SM-G977B/BTU/download/G977BXXU2BSL2/307374/
I'm currently downloading the brand new Android 11 firmware for BTU from the same site, but they weren't kidding about the free download being slow (5+ hours).
FWIW I successfully installed the above mentioned Android 11 fw on my phone (patching the image with magisk before flashing), and it doesn't have any network bloatware at least on my phone (UK BTU).

Will there be a forum for the Galaxy m21s? I don't know in how many countries it was released, but I never saw it being talked about in XDA.

Not sure if this helps, but here ya go.
Hi Guys. I need some help with my M21S.
I have two cellphones. A M21S with magisk root and Xiaomi Mi A3 without root.
I bought a sansung tv and I was trying to use the app called "Smart Things" to connect the TV to the smartphone.
The problem is: Xiaomi Mi A3 see the app on play store but M21S dont.
Investigating a little bit about the problem, I saw a lot of users suggesting a lot of thing like clear cache, register my google account again, update my playstore and/or my android.... But nothing works.
Here is the deal: i dont let my android update, at all. I dont like updates. They just slows the cellphone and consume a lot of battery.
After a while, comparing the issue with other issues i Had with Aptoide and APKpure for the last years I realized that the problem is: some apps updates are modifiing by its developers to not work on old versions of android and I realy think this is the problem here.
So, in order to solve the problem I have to update my android. But I Reeeeeeally dont want to do that.
So the question is: is there any way of bypass the version cheking sistem of apps? Or there is a way of solving this problem without updating my android version?
Android Version: 11
One UI Core version: 3.1
Model: galax M21s (SM-F415F)
Thaks a lot.
