-HOW TO TEST SCREEN ON TIME (SoT)- (Note that I do not recommend any type of battery waster app, they get your phone way to hot)
**Feel free to contribute to this post. Screen On Time's are done by taxing your phone for hours on end, examples of this are watching youtube videos nonstop, watching movies, surfing the internet, ect.. I personally run youtube videos by "Ollie Duracell" that are an hour long each, fullscreened with an actual video not a picture(you dont want display burn in), one after the other at full volume. Brightness at 60%, I use lower 60% brightness just so my phone doesn't get hot. I turn GPS on at max(high accuracy setting), just so I have more battery drain. And I use WiFi instead of the 4glte for data. **
-BATTERY LIFE CONSERVATION-
To save battery life after testing your battery, you could simply lower brightness even more(i actually leave it at 60%), and disable GPS(disabling GPS will get you at least an hour more on battery life). Oh and one more note, I charge my original battery and extended batteries normally while still in the phone. There are theories that you have to use an external charger to get 100% battery life, but I do not believe that to be true. I can get 5hrs screen on time out of the original LG battery when turning off GPS. Also, LG original battery is not good quality, if you do the math, these batteries out perform it comparing MAH to MAH.
-BATTERIES-

Thanks for this Guide and for including me in it. The sad thing is I don't get good signal here so only WiFi. I'm sure someone could calculate my runs with LTE use
Edit: the TQTHL brand is good. They have remade there branding colors to a more darker Blue than the old light blue color (post a pic in a bit)

How is the TQTHL battery performing over time? Does it still retain its original capacity?
Because my chinese 4000mah battery used to work great for couple days and then started losing capacity to the point where after little more than 1 month it's useless
Well my 4500 still works but I'll need at least 5 more runs with the 5000

Edit: Just so you know I'm back on 5.1 cause during my time on 6.0.1 i found that my Batteries no longer worked correctly but on 5.1 they work fine again. Now idk if it' MM or a bug in my motherboard (which i doubt cause i changed my phone once) or a bug within MM
Newb question, but do you need to be rooted to calibrate the battery with a different mah than the stock size? Or will draining it and recharging it a few times work just as well? Thanks!

Yeah I think the OS has the mah locked @3000 cause I need to use the battery widget to edit the mah but no root is required. The wedgit is on my thread first post
Just so you know it don't actually edit the mah in the OS Kernel just the App
Here's my 4500mah. Now below it all depends on what you do but for me I don't game at all. Just YouTube and site seeing

Is the OS properly reading battery capacity or is it stuck at 3000mAh? I mean, going from 100% to 14% did you consume 3870mAh (out of 4500) or 2580mAh so you still have almost 2000 available?
Thanks in advance
Nope it's locked @3000 and yes I'd say so. I'm on my 8200mah right now. Some pics later on for battery consumption

Just to be clear: you think you used only 2580mAh (86% of 3000) so you still have 2000 left even if it says 14%?

No No I think I had maybe 1500mah left or something similar to that
It would be interesting if we could set the battery capacity to 4500mAh with root... Do you know if it's possible?
So far they are saying its not possible. You have to change a kernal in the programming code to change the MAH capacity, and no one can find out on how to do it. Someone was trying to get in touch with a coder from LG but so far its a no go as I understand.
Yeah I'd say give up on that and just use the battery widget app

umm I actually don't know really. I just edit the mah and go from there
Just bought a export h815 set. The battery isnt impressive at all. Didnt manage to get even 3hours SOT. Even flash from mm to lolipop and didnt see much improvement. Is it hardware issue with the phone itself or just the battery. ( change the battery and see slight improvement).
It's mainly due to high screen resolution and the cpu/gpu. Just saying a guy who don't game at all and especially the high resolution on a 5.7 inch screen? Come on 720p is all we really need. I don't game so can't say on that behalf

Comparison between the original Nexus S 1500 mAh battery and the 1440 mAh Samsung battery
General settings:
- brightness set to maximum (100%)
- screen timeout set to maximum (30 mins)
- GPS ON / wireless networks ON (for Google Maps)
- Mobile Data ON
- 3G ON
- Sync ON (Contacts, GMail, Calendar, Reader + SiMi weather each 3 hours)
- WI-FI OFF
- Bluetooth OFF
Services running under the test (I'm not sure these DO have an impact on battery life, but just to be on the safe-side):
- SiMiClock
- 3G Watchdog
- other Android-specific services
Services cached under the test (again, i'm not really sure these count, but I wrote them down in case someone finds something weird or has questions):
- Android Agenda Widget
- Google Reader
- GTasks
- LED Light
- Brightness Level
- other essential Android-specific services
Testing conditions:
- Nexus S i9020-T version, 2.3.4 stock ROM, unlocked bootloader, stock recovery, stock kernel.
- each of the 2 batteries was plugged into the phone, charged till the phone said "Charging complete" (that meant 96% in each case), then discharged till 0%, until the phone shut down by itself.
- keep the screen ON at all times; yes, that means check every 30 mins (because of the screen timeout) and slide a finger across the screen to re-activate the 30 mins timeout timer AGAIN (and again... and again, etc. etc., every 30 mins).
- signal strength 11 asu (+/- 2 asu); check this in Status under About Phone.
- in each test, the phone was placed in the exact same place, it was not moved.
- sync was enabled, but I get emails like one per week, so the sync activity was very low (only Google Reader sync every hour).
- no activity on the phone whatsoever (phone calls in/out, sms in/out).
Battery performance comparison:
1500 mAh battery (top at 96%) = 2h 44mins (the original Nexus S battery)
1440 mAh battery (top at 96%) = 2h 26mins (the OEM Samsung 1440 mAh battery)
In each of the 2 tests, the battery % usage was:
- Display - 78%
- GPS - 14%
- gpsd - 5% (I never saw this thing until now; WTF is it ?!)
- Android System - 3%
Verdict:
Well, the OEM Samsung 1440 mAh battery didn't add up to the performance of the original 1500 mAh Nexus S battery, as I hoped, but it packed quite a punch. The difference between the 2 isn't all that bad in real life situation, but the ~20 mins difference out of a total of 3 hours could scare some people away. Anyway, if you compare it to other <1600 mAh 3rd party batteries out there, I think you will get better results with this one. And, furthermore, it's the cheapest one (I think) at only 5$. How can you ask for more when it's THAT cheap, and made by Samsung ?
In the end, I have to say that for 5$, this OEM Samsung 1440 mAh battery is quite a bang for the buck !
PS: I forgot to tell you where you could ACTUALLY buy one of these if you so desire. Just do a search on eBay for the original Nexus S battery MODEL NUMBER. (AB653850CA)
Additional INFO:
1. The test is a derivate from Ploone's comparison test from his topic over here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1058763 Thanks a lot man for the idea and for your video reviews !
2. I hope I was thorough enough. If some of you have questions, please, do ask, because maybe I have forgot something important.
3. Also, if you don't mind and have some spare time for this, could you please conduct the SAME test as I did to see some more results ? Because I still have the impression that my original 1500 mAh battery sucks. Thanks !
*Side-Note:
Ploone's review of the 1600 mAh Mugen Power battery indicated the following results:
3h 25 mins = 205 mins - 1600 mAh Mugen Power battery
4h 32 mins = 272 mins - 1500 mAh Nexus S battery
That's a ~1.327 ratio for the Nexus S battery.
From my comparison (yea, I know there are many variables changed in the testing methodology, but the ratio should stick with the batteries, despite the testing conditions):
2h 26 mins = 146 mins - 1440 mAh OEM Samsung battery
2h 44 mins = 164 mins - 1500 mAh Nexus S battery
That's a ~1.123 ratio for the Nexus S battery.
A greater ratio for the Nexus S battery means that it is more powerful than the opponent. So, because the ratio is smaller in the 1440 mAh Samsung comparison test than the ratio from Ploone's test, that should translate in the fact that the 1440 mAh battery is more powerful than the 1600 mAh battery. It's also 10 times cheaper (50$ vs 5$, aprox.), LOL ! (I'm not judging you, Ploone; I'm only judging that Mugen battery)
Nice review sir, thanks for mentioning me! Appreciated

As for the charging test, I tested the charge time for both batteries, from 0% until the phone said "Charging complete" (top at 96%); the results didn't vary too much (10mins difference), so I continued the test on the original battery:
1500 mAh battery - Nexus S 700 mA wall charger = 3h 30mins
1500 mAh battery - Nexus S 500 mA USB data cable = 5h 30mins
1500 mAh battery - after-market 1.000 mA wall charger = 3h 30mins
1440 mAh battery - after-market 1.000 mA wall charger = 3h 20mins (-10 mins compared to the 1500mAh) :
60% in 1h 30 mins
70% in 1h 50 mins
80% in 2h 15 mins
96% in 3h 20 mins
Also, I have to add that the 1.000 mA 3rd party wall charger acts like the original 700mA charger. Guess the charging algorithms prevent the Nexus from drawing more than 700 mA (as the original charger can supply). Or something like that. If someone has a better explanation, I'd love to hear it, I'm really curious.
thanks for the review! I wonder if any of the 1650mah batteries found in the new Samsung phones like Droid Charge, Samsung Infusion would fit inside nexus s. Now that would be an upgrade.
Thanks a lot lambda30, I was waiting for this review. I guess I will order one!
You're all welcome !
I think I'm gonna order another one in a month or two, just to have a spare one. At 5 bucks, it's totally worth it. And I'm gonna kill that sucker all day long, instead of being scared that my battery will die on me, like I used to do up until now.
Until now, I just had the brightness at around 20%, Gtalk offline most of the time, Google Reader syncing manual. Now I'm on 75% brightness all the time, everything syncing + Gtalk online all day/night long, no GPS usage, Wi-fi OFF, 3G data on all the time. On the 1440 mAh, it stays up for around 18h with about 2h 30 mins screen on time.
I just finish charging to 96% before going to bed, loose about 10% until morning, and after the day, at about 19:00, I will still have about 10-20% remaining. It's pretty decent.

@ lambda30
Thanks for your research. I know what spare batteries to get now.
I bought two of those 1440 mah batteries from ebay, one for me and one for a friend. I actually received one 1440 mah battery and one 1500 mah battery (says the label). Needless to say, i kept the 1500 mah one and gave him the 1440 mah one (my price for placing the order, haha). I have to say though it performs just as well as the stock battery. While i haven't performed tests or anything, It's impossible to tell the batteries apart performance wise for everyday usage.
For those that don't want to gamble on getting a junk battery or waiting for delivery. Read Amazon reviews for quite a few unhappy customers. Radio Shack has replacement 1440 mAh for $19.99 with 1 year warranty.

Neah, it doesn't happen like that with this one. I've seen the reviews for this item on eBay. Furthermore, with 19.99$ you can get 3 of these and surely, even if 1 out of 3 is broken, you still have the other 2. So again, you just CAN'T go wrong with this purchase.
Furthermore again, I don't trust 3rd party batteries at all. See the 1600 mAh Mugen example from my first post, the one that Ploone reviewed.

Personally I'm going with the cheap OEM. I posted your thread on AndroidCentral and some people sniveled about used/old batteries.
Lithium batteries don't get to full capacity until 4 or 5 charge cycles so that might have had an impact on Ploones review. At PreCentral somline did some extensive tests on batteries and Mugen did pretty well. Here's a link to one that didn't do so well.

Well this (and other reviews/comments) concludes my research. So I'm not just advertising the product/seller.
Personally, I bought it from "accessorymallonline". But, because it comes in a sealed bag, it doesn't really matter from which buyer you get it.
Just started using a mugen power extended battery and am getting a lot more use out of the handset, haven't cycled it the recommended 5 times either, so expecting a little more juice as time goes on!Recommended!
Hi judd5000

As soon as I get it performing properly after the correct cycles, I will post my feedback along with phone settings used.

i hope this battery would fix the problem of original battery
I got mine yesterday - even the residual power in it got me through a whole night with GPS on and two email accounts checking once an hour. So far today after first full charge the battery has dropped a little since this morning but is still at about 80% and has been so for at least 2 hours. This is with light to medium use, though I did go out for an hour or so and had to switch from wi-fi to 3G, and I live in a terrible signal area that kills batteries, so so far I'm impressed. If it improves even more with a few more conditioning cycles I think 2 days will be within reach.
Also, and why this would be I have no idea, I seem to have a slightly better signal reception too. This is probably coincidence though, so don't take too much notice of it!
Is this the same size as the original battery or is it bigger? If so do you need a new back cover?

exactly the same size
Got just over 30 hours from mine today with light to moderate use, mainly on WiFi but in a bad signal area. And that's just the first charge/discharge cycle so there's more to come. Impressed!
OK, final verdict - the Mugen 1800 mAh battery is much better than the 1300 mAh stock battery and well worth the investment. Once properly conditioned, 24 hours with moderate to heavy use was easily done (GPS on, 2 email accounts on hourly check, an hour or so of newsgroup reading, 1/2 an hour of gaming, an hour or so of web browsing, 1/2 an hour or so on the marketplace, a fair bit of texting and a 20-min phone call in a bad signal area). With fairly light use (email accounts on manual, a few texts, just the occasional 5-min check of Twitter/Facebook and brief web browsing), I've managed over 40 hours and I suspect 2 days is well within possible - I tend to leave GPS on out of habit and have brightness on auto. Knock the GPS off and have brightness on low and that'd save a bit more again.
Obviously having a smartphone you don't use a lot of the functions of isn't ideal, but if you go away for a long weekend and forget your charger, it's good to know you can make it through (if you have the right battery!).
just ordered one.

I am afraid all these batteries are produced in Asia, Mugen included. If we assume the Japanese one is truly Japanese, perhaps this latter is better, but I doubt it, due to its unrealistic capacity.
Given the obvious environmental concerns related to the manufacture of batteries in China, I certainly prefer to wait until some good alternative is provided by a German company (usually very efficient in these jobs). ATM there's nothing convincing on ebay and amazon.
If you are in Europe this involves in addition having batteries shipped within the EC and no extra customs' costs!

Disclaimer: I know there is already another thread on Mugen HD2 Extended Battery 2,600mAh, but I would like to state that this is an official review since Mugen has provided me with a review unit to debunk the many bad comments given concerning their battery quality. This you can read from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1294124.
[BACKGROUND]
I have contacted www.mugen-power-batteries.com directly after hearing many comments concerning their false claims. I was surprised that they actually responded by providing me a review unit of the 2,600mAh. It is now on the way.
My review unit will be coming in about 2 weeks time. I will try to conduct an extensive review to determine the actual worth of the battery and whether they work as advertised. I will be conducting a few tests specifically on the battery, as objectively as possible. This would cover video playing, 3G usage, full valuation of the battery charge (using battery widget pro) to name a few.
If you would like a particular test to be conducted on the battery, please state and give a few ideas below. I will be comparing them against the original 1,230mAh from HTC.
I think as faithful users of our HTC HD2, I would really want to get the best extended battery. If this provides even 90% of the advertised capacity, it is already worth the money. Anything less would be pointless.
Thank you.
Larger cell will indeed be good but 2600mAh will be higher than reality as Mugen have admitted this already in a round about way on responses to another testers results.
A new standard HTC cell & new standard size 1500mAh Mugen is the test that needs to be done.
Any chance of a sample 1500mAh review unit ?

This was response to Dougs battery testing.
Not in any way slating Mugen but the mAh ratings marked on their cells are higher than what would be achieved in any lab test.
1500mah is the one I would love to see tested side by side with genuine cell in device & technician mAh testing.
Mugen cells are ok quality but for the asking price we need total transparency on actual cell capacity ...
I have no idea how good that battery is, but I bought this one about 6 months ago and it's working very well, doesn't gain much heat and it doesn't discharge itself much. Average battery consumption in standby is 6mA. All I can do is recommend you guys this one. And cover is really strong. And it's "bit" cheaper than Mugens

looking forward to seeing your test results...i just got me a 2400mAh battery and it lasts me about 15hours under heavy use...
Hi guys,
Sorry for the silence... I just received the battery today! Give me some time to get it charged and conditioned for testing
Let me know what else you would like me to test it with.
Display use is interesting for me, such like browsing etc.
Open a browser with some ads or something and look how long the Battery live..
My Galaxy SII gets there 4,5h.
Start the Match
Idc really care about that battery. I know its fake, but is there any real battery that's better then the original stock? 1400, 1450, 1500?? Not the fat ones with the kickstand
Just an update, I am still conditioning the battery. The first charge/recharge was really pathetic, at 12 hours before it was flat (moderate-heavy use). The second charge/recharge is much improved, I am on 25 hours on (moderate use) with 25% left (taking pictures, listening to music, games, surfing, etc.). I will begin formal testing after 4 full runs to find the optimum condition.
One things I have to say is that the ROM does play a high factor. I was on Dorimanx 3.0 and somehow the governors for oc/uc is not working properly as I kept getting some high drainage. Once I reverted to 2.9, the drainage was gone and it seems to sip battery at a much, much lower rate.
So many factors!!!!
By the way, I really like the battery cover. It is not cheap like the other China made products (unlabelled). I have already 4 different covers, and while I would prefer a metal back cover, this is the 2nd best
Can You please also start the heavy display usage test?
And put some pics please
Greetings

I have a few questions which i hope you dont mind answering:-
1. How did you recondition the battery?
2. Does your kernel recognise the battery's full capacity or do you do a battery pull then it jumps back up significantly? Im facing this problem at the moment...
thank you in advance!
how long will the battery last for heavy use like playing 3d games?this is important as i use my phone for gaming most

1) I conditioning it by charging it overnight for 6-8 hours and then depleting it until it powers off (Actually, this is based on the instructions they gave in the parcel). I need to do it 5 times. Once done, I will be able to charge and stop charging when the indicator hits 100%. I basically use Battery Widget Pro (they have a feature called 'calibration'). Apparently, the battery itself states that it is 2,300mAh, but I think this is not accurate (hence the testing). You will know that the battery is fully charge when the indicator goes down to 0 (zero) mA (shows that the battery is not receiving any more charge).
2) Most cheap batteries have wrong indicators (e.g. temperature detection is not working, no indication of battery capacity). And yes, they suffer the need to 'pull the battery out first' before an additional amount is given. I bought one a while back, apparently one that has 3,000mAh. My observation is that the indicators are really gone. In fact, it will slowly go down to 50%, after which if you pull, it will give you 70%, once it goes down to 15%, it will last for a long while (30 minutes of browsing over 3G) before going down to 14%. Using that battery, I have been able to last 31 hours of moderate use (1 hour of music, 1 hour of gaming - not 3D, a few hours of browsing and a lot of photo taking). It costs only USD12 (thereabouts), which to me is the best deal yet. Down side of that battery is the very poor back battery cover. Using Battery Widget Pro (you have to charge fully and discharge until it shuts down and charge up again continuously), I got an estimated charge capacity of 1900mAh. Not bad don't you think?
The Mugen 2,600mAh easily matches my fake 3,000mAh one. The question is by how much. Sorry for the delay but my HD2 is my daily phone. So, I cant conduct full test like Engadget and other websites. But I'll do my best

Try Andida batteries. I had the 1600mAh one and it was slightly better than the original (giving me about 1300mAh). I had that a while back.
After much charging and recharging, I can confirm that the battery has about 2,200+mAh. See the attached images to see the estimated calculation using Battery Widget Pro.
Charging takes about 2 hours plus using the wall charger. The last 2% takes the longest.
As per request I ran 2 emulation apps (sorry, no 3d games), fpse & n64oid. The former ran Strider 2 while the latter ran Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Do note that I have overclocked my phone to 1.6ghz. All in all, it ran for 4.5 hours with 15% battery left. I'm pretty sure it could have clocked 5hours easily. I think that it is a good performance for 2.2kmAh battery don't you think? See the images below for a read of what other apps I was running. I managed to deplete the whole charge after nearly 10 hours of extremely heavy usage!
What do you guys think? Okay?

[Not the Mugen 2,600mAh Battery]
As an aside, I took and strip out the cheap battery which I bought for USD10, which claimed a 3000mAh, which only was about 2000mAh (+/- 200mAh) and took some photos of it. I can understand these extended batteries better. I am not an electronics person, but this would explain why it takes a restart to 'recognise' the 'remaining' battery on our devices.
Notice that they are basically two lower capacity batteries which are slapped together with the thin connectors and wrapped together with scotch tape.
I am not sure whether Mugen's the same, since it does not suffer from the 'restart-phone-to-get-additional-battery-reflected' scenario. However, I wonder whether there are any manufacturers who would just manufacture a genuine 2000mAh without merely slapping two products together (like in this picture). In light of this, it is much better to carry an external battery charger (anything more than 6,000mAh around!).
Anyone with electronic expertise want to comment on the pictures, please do.
Opps, forgot to add the photos of the battery and the battery cover which I mentioned. I find that after the first fall (yes, I tend to have accidents with my HD2 ... ) there is a slight creeking sound with the battery cover (nothing is chipped though). It is a rubberised battery cover, unlike the original metal cover. Still, the feel of the cover is great to the touch.
I am no longer using this device, but my dad is! It still works and have survived loads of damage... mostly dropping the device with the battery cover!
Want a better battery but not the giant mugen power one? I noticed that the Xperia S BA 800 battery has the same specifications except it's 1900maH instead of the V's 1750maH. See here: http://www.tvc-mall.com/details/Son...eplacement-1900mAh-Model-BA800-BATY-LT26i-01/
Just got mine today and it's been working well so far, will update in case it blows up.

Nice!
If you could, please, make a small review later, about the longevity, charging time, etc, it would be great!
Sure no prob! However, it will take several days of overcharing and draining to figure out the actual capacity. On my first discharge now, at 90% with 32 minutes screen time @ 60% brightness.
edit: hit 1 hour screen time with 81% remaining. I am just texting/web surfing.
****ing thing just turned off at 30% :/
hope it can be calibrated
It won't get any better, thats for sure. Just check this post (it's in german only):
http://www.android-hilfe.de/sony-xp...ead-fuer-das-sony-xperia-v-4.html#post5645646
There you can see the same battery and some charts. Just what I read there:
Assuming the original Sony BA800 has true 1700mAh this one has only about 1400mAh (based on runtime comparison).
This battery goes from 20% => Off always and therefore is not reliable.
This battery has a faked CE logo so it must not be selled in Europe (officially)
Runtime is basically the same for me- about 3 hours screen time and then it shuts off weather it's the chinese fake or the sony original
batteries that claim to have more capacity than the original usually don't turn out to be, especially ones from ebay. Nevertheless, if they're cheap, there's no harm in having extra backup
I'm in the same situation as the thread creator. I want a bigger battery, but not to big. Suggestions?
I found a 1900 mAh on ebay, but can't post it here because I'm a new user :silly:
thats cool! I will check it out and try it soon!
i got mine too from ebay. took 1 month to deliver to India from hong kong. working good and it didnt turned off in the middle. tested successfully till it switches off. i didnt noticed the extra 200 mAh power than the 1700 mAh battery. i should say the original one is slightly better but even though i can admit i got two 1700 mAh batteries

If you did get a low cost battery from China which has similar to OEM capacity call yourself lucky.
hi,
I have just received a replacement battery, have had a charge discharge cycle, and it look ok.
But I did just figured that the temperature reading is nothing but real :
- put the phone outside at -5°C for 30 min, batterie temp reading :23°C
- put the phone in charge on a QuickCharge 2 charger and go from 20% to 70% : 15°C
It seems to be a common thing on spare replacement batteries to have bad or simply NO temperature sensor.
For my Nexus 5 I have had the same issue.
The question is : is this temperature reading used to stop charging when its getting to much hot or even the phone itself?
Or does the phone itself has its own temp sensor that will shut it down or stop charging?
Edit : the litle white humidity disc checker on the same face as the contact is also missing...
Thanks
I also have a "5000 mah" slim battery, it is showing 23 degree non stop, so obviously not working. It gives me great battery life though.
Yeah the temp sensor is bugged

which one do you use?
Is it a slim one?
thx
Yes, it is a slim one. They have relisted it https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1Pc...32664650213.html?spm=2114.13010608.0.0.e4MP7m. It was gone from the site for about one month.
Yeah I have that same one with no issues. Love that brand

thx, i will get those batterys to test them out.
is the battery life (same usage and apps) better than on original battery?
i think my original battery is degreasing its power it can store, because i am using it ~1,5 years now.
thx

I'd say yes but the TQTHL is way better

My orig bat is still crankin. 1.25 years later. Im impressed
I did this for testing purposes....
With my Original Battery I charged with USB 2.0 Quick Charge and with my LG OEM Battery Charger and I got 2 Hours more with the Battery Charger. My Test: had the screen [email protected] and in the whole time. So 5HRs vs 3HRs
Note: the OEM Battery Charger doesn't have Quick Charge. To my understanding you should always charge slow and not fast. I find these Quick Charge Technology just a gimmick
Now out of curiosity. Are all these batts with incorect temp readings throwing warning aboit device to hot or cold????
No, I have no warnings, it works a bit better than stock, I have 4-5 hours of SOT during 40h time (I charge the phone every other night all night).
My G4 is brick
I need your help
Is that TOTHL battery really 5000mAh? I feel like a lot of those budget extended batteries all lie about capacity.

Too late!! I already bought it, but it wasn't too expensive (2 x $20 usd, shipped)
So far, the same SOT as the stock batteries. I doubt they'll last long, after multiple cycles.
The biggest battery saver has been uninstalling Facebook Messenger...sad.

You do realize these Slim Extended Batteries or and All Extended Battery can't be charged with USB? Time&Time again i keep saying y'all need to buy these Battery Chargers! (Linked in My Thread)
Truth: Either a Chip in the battery, Motherboard via Phone or.... inside the OS Kernel is it's locked @3000mah so if you charge (via USB) a Extended Battery it'll charge only @3000mah and nothing more. I've tested it. Even charging overnight
