[MOD] Multi-User Mod [FIX] [UNIVERSAL]

As I saw many people wanting to have multi-user option on their Android One devices I have made a flashable zip which even works on Lollipop version!
Installation:
• Download the fine from below.
• Place it on your SD Card.
• Reboot to recovery.
• Flash the zip from the place you stored.
• Wipe both the caches, fix permission (optional).
• Reboot & Enjoy!

P.S: Stock recovery users, please switch to custom recovery before flashing, it's not working on stock recovery due to some signature stuff, btw using custom recoveries like TWRP, CWM etc is a better option than stock...

not working in stock recovery
I tested in stock recovery. Error in footer file and aborted installation.

If i install this mod and then install stock recovery, will users option still be present? And can u plz tell me which two caches and fix permission? Thanks in advance

user option will be there & two caches are Cache & Dalvik Cache, & cache & permission thingy is purely optional...

Where i found multiuser after flashing.. ?

multi user mod error in recovery

There are separate Stock 5.1 ROMs available on the android one forums, search them.........

Well that should be the case if you install from Google Play.
But i go directly to the source: chainfire.eu
Flashing from TWRP failed, maybe somewhat unclear, but i did not patch any files, just patched/fixed the installer.

This happens sometimes. I usually download the ZIP from chainfire site, extract it and rezip again in a new ZIP. And this second ZIP file works

thanks storm. you did great contribution on this device, which need to be recognized!
i got an issue of system cannot be mounted as RW.
tried with root explorer, it did nothing when i tap the mount RW button.
i flashed your supersu zip via your twrp (and the supersu from chainfire website as well).
i did get root access but system just won't mount as RW.
i am on 5.1.11.0 G firmware.
do u have any suggestion?

Hi,this is stock Xiaomi 9.0 rom for twrp without any changes extracted and make flashable by me
I Need time to update this post,wait and use only latest twrp cosmic,thanks, backup efs modem persist before flash
NEW AND LATEST VERSION IS 10.0.8
Requirements:
Working PC with fastboot and adb (debug usb on)
Unlocked bootloader
Latest TWRP OREO IMG (on pc) Cosmic
Remove all lockscreen pin/password

How to flash:
Place all needed file on your Mi A1
Plug Mi a1 with PC and open Powershell or CMD on the folder of TWRP
Lanch this on powershell/CMD

(use correct recovery name)
If twrp ask swipe to allow changes, backup your EFS (it's very important)

Install->8.5.9v8.1 TISSOT.zip and reboot (if it stuck at android one logo keep the power button pressed until it reboot and rom boots
After first boot or first setup you can install magisk and Gcam and other custom kernel,only need "lanch this on powershell/CMD

Q: Can I lock bootloader or unlock?
A: Flash don't lock bootloader but update it and all unlock/relock erase ALL DATA!!!

A: No need of this boot.img,only boot twrp and flash magisk 18 or 19 and reboot

Yes I tested this version Twrp because I had a little trouble with the fastboot version :silly:

No but I can do a debloat zip when I have time,for me best choice is delete apps with titanium backup,sd maid or with rooted file manager

Hope you debloat gapps on next release of the rom. Bloatware gapps is useless since we can download manually from playstore.

If you are on millennium ROM or any one with Magisk, install Viper4android from the magisk library. Just download and it will install automatically.
Just make sure you have Uninstaller app to uninstall Samsung's stock sound alive; Viper won't work with Soundalive present.

Working but there is not a big difference scout hugh volume but sound is beautiful.

Make sure it IS working, you can have "Dolby surround and pro logic" IRS; which can make sound pretty loud.
I will try attaching it, after you have it. Go to convolver, press on IRS, it should give you error of some sort, after that copy the file in the viper4android folder in the internal memory>kernel. Boom, it should be working.
PS: I can't attach the file but Google it you may find it.
OR just turn on playback gain, you can adjust it in the settings, in which it can go as far as "extreme" gain; aka the loudest.

Fixes
SD-Card is not working for Gallery/Camera and some other apps:
Download a Terminal App from Playstore (e.g. Material Terminal)
Open Terminal App
type "su" (without " ") and hit Enter
type "sm set-force-adoptable true" (without " ") and hit Enter
Reboot Phone
Hit the SD Card Notifcation and select "Mobile Storage"
New Method since v1.3:
Install ROM without ROOT, and do a inital setup.
Click on the SD Card Notification and select Mobile Storage for SDCard.
Reboot to TWRP and flash Magisk from my Website or dirty flash Rom with Magisk Root.
Magisk Manager did not get installed:
Download latest Manager here and install it on top.
(If update is not working, then you installed another Manager with different signature,
make sure you uninstall Manager (NO UNINSTALLER ZIP, NO TITANIUM) then
install my version.

Clean Install doesnt work too because of the Black Screen i got after choosing CSC Mods in Aroma. And now my Phone keeps rebooting all the Time

Why do you even try to boot if aroma crashes lol.
Format system before flashing rom, you messed up aroma config files in /system/aroma
