power button and volume up button is not working properly on my canvas a1
i have to press it very hard to get it working
ps: volume down button is working perfectly
any way to fix it?

Looks like hardware issue, get your sprout repaired in a service centre!

Mmx service centre... Go to MMX service centre and explain em' your issues, they'll fix it but you need to pay.

You can reassign the camera or so called G button under the volume rockers. thats how i did it,... but in the end i had a defekt hardware so brought it into service as i was still under warrenty :highfive:

That's what i did...i remapped the G button...as i m not under warranty and am goin to buy a new phone in a month or two i needed an alternative solution..

Hello all .. I have a problem with my xperia z. I dropped it in pool and got water damaged and stuff. I put it in rice for 5 days. Now the problem is that the power button isnt functioning well. VOLUME UP key opens Snapshot dialogue box which is supposed to be open ny long press power button. Speakers work but they stop after 5 mimutes then ipress volume up button them they start working again. Can any body tell me what exactli is wrong with my XZ ?? Is is the software or hardware.. I think its hardware. I want some good suggestions on what should i do. Thanks in advance guys.

Send it for repair. That is the only course of action for water damage if drying the phone out thoroughly hasn't worked.

Yes. As I recall from your previous thread about this, you powered the phone up after water got in, so it's highly likely that something is permanently damaged.

I doubt you would want to apy at the rates they charge. When I wanted to replace my screen on my arc they gave me a crazy estimate of over a £100. Just turn phone off open all flaps and leave it to dry for a few weeks.

I bought my Mi3 on 12th August. It was working perfectly till last week.
I tried to call my friend on skype last week and found that the front cam is not working. It is now showing random black lines on white screen. I tried a lot of camera apps and none of them are working.
Can anybody help me with this? Is this a firmware issue or is there something wrong with the hardware? What should I do to get it fixed?

I have purchased a used micromax canvas a1 from olx and I'm running cm13 with thunderzap kernel?
but my battery life is pathetic even on airplane mode while using wifi I only get maximum 2 hours off screen on time?
is my battery faulty if yes then please provide me a link to buy a new original battery that can give me good battery backup

Try battery calibration ....just search on google play and get the one by "nema" ....if it doesn't work , go buy a new battery from micromax service centre.....

Your battery is not faulty. I too get same amount of battery backup as mentioned by you. Its just marshmallow uses too much resource and consume lot of battery juice. Try getting back to stock, you will surely get more backup. If you still want more backup get back to kk stock rom. I wish our phones have more high power capacities battery. But for now it is, what it is.

And also check if ur device is going to deep sleep or not

I am on cm 13 and thunderzap kernel 5.2 ....I get 4 hrs screen on time , continous usage with 3g mobile data on ....

Yeah ...if battery calibration didn't work ...then I think you should buy a new battery .....don't go for online .....buy it from your micromax service centre.....
