I often need to keep my Note 5 ringer off or on vibrate. Unfortunately each time I restart my phone it turns the ringer back up a couple minutes after the phone powers on. I have to be very mindful of turning the ringer back down again. How can I stop this from happening?

Is anyone else having issues with the volume not resetting in the morning after the Sleeping Assist turns off? My phone goes to silent at 9pm and is supposed to go back to normal at 6am. However, when it comes out of Sleep, it stays on silent. When I manually take it off of silent, the volumes are all jacked up. My phone ringer volume is always set real low. It's annoying enough that I may just stop using the Sleeping Assist.

I just experienced the same problem today. After Moto Assist Sleep Mode ended, the phone was still in silent mode.
I use the app "NILS" to wake the phone on incoming notifications. but as soon as the phone is woken up, the display stays on and shows the lockscreen for at least 10 seconds.
I set NILS to keep the screen on for 1 sec, but it doesn't seem to be nils' decision.
So my question is: is there is a mod that controls how long your phone stays awake when woken up?
to clearify: I do NOT talk about the normal wake status when the phone is unlocked but not used.
When I am talking to someone on the phone, it just suddenly hangs up randomly. Sometimes it happens after 1 minute, sometimes after 5 minutes. I call the person back and again it hangs up after like 20 seconds. This is really annoying when I am talking to someone and they think i hung up on them. It's not my cheek pressing against the button, screen turns off automatically from proximity sensor when I hold it up to my ear. I've had my moto g for a year and this only started happening yesterday. Phone is rooted with cyanogenmod.
This is weird any help guys I'm in uk note 9 android pie one ui 1 dec patch been on this for years as it's the most stable for me
Anyway the high volume warning when you turn up the headphones initially only showed up the very first time you plug in the headphones after a factory reset then dismiss the warning and it's gone permanently. Even after a reboot there is no warning it was great.
But after not seeing that volume warning for nearly 2 years out of the blue I'll be listening to my music with headphones and the volume will drop,so I'll look at the phone and the volume warning has popped up.so I have to dismiss the warning to turn the music back up.then around 11 days later the same thing will happen again.i have not updated my phone so why is this happening randomly considering I've not seen the warning pop up in 2 years
Any help guys to make sure this issue goes away
Bump is anyone else still on pie 9 one ui here
Hi I have a problem with my TA-1012, it makes a two tone sound every couple of seconds when the screen is on and I just cannot figure out what is causing it. It's not notification sound and there are no notifications in the log. I think it might be disconnect sound but I'm not 100% sure. The only way to stop it is to go to airplane mode, but turning networks manually does not have the same effect. Power cycling the phone does not help either. It is very annoying and I run out of ideas how to fix it. I want to avoid factory reset but that might be the only option I have left.
I'm running stock Android Pie 9 with the latest update from 2020.
