No mic after 20p update - T-Mobile LG G4

updated from 20o to 20p sunday night using LG Bridge on a mac. Everything went fine. Answer a call and the person cant hear me at all unless i turn on the speaker or use bluetooth or headset. Google voice search no, voice recorder forget about it.
I have tried doing:
update error recovery in LG Bridge
LGUP kdz method
Flashed two different stock roms wiping this and that
Nothing seems to work, any ideas would be appreciated.
Is it possible to downgrade back to 20o?

Your issue sounds more lika a hardware problem to me, you can safely go back to h811-20o since 20o &20p are both anti-rollback version 3
flash as refurbish with lgup - 20o kdz is here if needed: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24572369242688205

No go still bad.
The phone has two mics. While using speaker phone, voice input switches to top mic that is used for noise suppression.
Good news: tmobile is swapping under warranty.
Bad news: wont get the phone for 3 weeks. Back order.

No service after the official update

Hello!
After the official update to V20A from V10H, I can no longer connect to my operator in sweden.
My baseband version show "Unknown", so I have tried re-updating the phone through LG Support Tool, and doing a factory reset with no success.
Is there anyone else experiencing this problem?
It's not a faulty sim card. And this seems to be a common problem occurring on several LG devices.
(Also, the LG Support Tool is still showing my version as V10H)
try factory flash on LG tool

Just tried the "Recovery Phone" in LG Support Tool, didn't work.
Although the support tool can read my phone's IMEI.

Be sure that you have a official V20A, flash it with LGFlash Tool, here you find all you need:

You can use my way or go to the OP:

Thanks for the suggestion!
I flashed as you suggested, but the IMEI is still "Unknown" when going back to V20A.
V10H works flawlessly though, and I can connect to my operator.

But you flash the V20A with those files? They the official euro_open...

Yes, I followed each step and successfully flashed the image.
My phone is bought in sweden, and as I said, V10H works great and I'm able to see my IMEI.

Yeah, I had a similar problem with my Galaxy Gio, also with a Tele2Comviq sim card (Not the one I'm using now though).
So if someone with Tele2Comviq could confirm that their phone is working fine with this update, that would be great!

Just flashed the *.kdz file for my IMEI from LG's website, didn't work.
Oh well, could be worse! For now I'll have to stay with V10H, and hope for the best!
At least JB is out and hopefully the sources will be out soon.

Okay you can manually flash 4.3 ftf and check whether this issue is rectified if not then it may be an hardware issue
If its sorted then manually flash 4.4.2 ftf after 4.3
use flash tool to flash firmware
Your speaker is OK
Don't panic
Check if there is anything inside the headset jack because the phone thinks that you have plugged in a headset and disables the speaker
So Check the Headset jack maybe for water damage or anything lodged in there
Good Luck!

Nope. Tmobile Software Update site still says "Manufacturer Development" so might still be a little bit.

Where is this full wipe kdz method you speak of? I am trying to return to stock firmware with a full wipe and no left overs. All I can find is offline method which does not wipe data.

I just downloaded the official tmobile today, however I will have to revert back to stock etc to get it to flash unless someone knows another way...right now I am on stock kitkat rom with root and unlocked bootloader no special rom or anything like that, but when it trys to install it goes to twrp then I get error about Books.odex contains unexpected files. So I guess do I have to revert all the way back to stock first?
Update Online
Looks like you can update via PC if you have not gotten the OTA notice...
https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-21132
Is there a way to keep root while upgrading ??....isn't there an app that does that ???
Update via PC
I tried to update my D41510E and got the message that "Only WIreless Upgrades Are Supported On This Phone". T-Mobiles own page says the PC upgrade should work. Bummer!
UPDATE: Its working. I clicked on the 'recovery' button and it started the update to Lollipop. At 92% now... we'll see how it goes.

My phone keeps rebooting when I open the camera app. I force stopped it cleared the data and restarted and it's only a temporary fix. What can be the cause of my problems? Will rooting the device help?

Dont know much about ures. Us991. But looks like ure on 21a which is mm so unrootable
Best bet is to try to find the 21a firmware and reflash to see if its a corrupt cam application. If that doesnt do it maybe hardware.
Do not attempt downgrades as hard brick can and will result
If u cant find 21a anywhere more or less outa luck unless u got waranty

I use old lg flash tool. But lg flash tool. lgup and i think theres a third one. Just make sure its the same firm ure on. And it will wipe the phone and restore 100% stock any thing on device is wiped. not ext sd.
All the flash tools will either use a .kdz or .tot file format. So if u downloaded a file in one of those 2 formats. Anywhere from say 1.5 gb to 4 or 5 i think are normally valid firmwares. Look up lg g4 return to stock xda on google and should lead u the rite way
See i use one of the older lg flashtools from the g2 cause im very familiar with it and it works great even on g4 and most other lgs. Why mess up a method that works for me.
