I can install 2.78 on my nexus 6p running 7.0 but when i go to full unroot the supersu folder stays on the internal storage. I can boot into twrp and delete it and the suspersu folder still comes back. Even after doing a factory flash of the stock rom it is still there. I even while rooted, I tried to delete the folder, I lost root but when i rebooted in twrp the folder was there. How can I delete the supersu folder? Help!
Thanks in Advance!
as far as I know this "folder" is part of TWRP, not of your internal storage

hi there, i am using cwmr touch 6.0.1.4-Philz on my galaxy note. every time i try to install a zip file, i don't get an error. it says install from sd card complete. but when i reboot my device, there are no changes. i tried different zip files, and not one did anything.
Has anyone had this problem before? I have official 4.1.1 on speedmod kernel. Thanks in advance!
Just a suggestion before installing any zip manually mount the system

excuse me for my noob question, but what does "mount the system" mean?
thanks for your reply!
When you are in cwm recovery there is a option named mount & storage. Inside it there is a option to mount the system select it and then try installing any zip

What are you trying to install? Have you updated to the latest philz kernel?

I didn't understand that. I do have es file explorer installed?

Latest version is 4.63. You can check your version by booting into recovery and philz settings, about.
Launcher? After installing the launcher, when you press the home key, does it not give option to choose launcher?
I have 6.0.1.4 cwmr philz touch. And normally it should pop up xperia home, but i only get my touchwiz launcher and the apex launcher. I also tried to install an other zip file, something that would change my statusbar, and it didn't..
Latest us 6.0.2.8.. Try to change kernel. Also try fix permission in recovery.

I guess the xperia z launcher zip is broken. Maunally paste the app into system/app or maybe you don't have enough space left on the system that's why your zips are not installing. Delete some samsung bloatware apps using tb

I have 2 gb in my internel storage over and 15 gb on my sd card over. And also, i tried many xperia zip files and different version of it.
Then i tried trough es file explorer to install the apk in the system folder, and it didn't let me.
I'm using folders in my device. But after install rom and restore my apps via titanium, my folders gone and all my apps in the menu.
How can I backup folders?

You can't.
you've to restore manually all the folders.
So, a solution there is, backupping the sense launcher, but after a flash of new rom, you can break it and you've to reflash all the rom
Recently is was using Viper 2.7 with CWM 6.0.3.2. To be able to update to Viper 4.2 i needed to change to TRWP. Everything went ok, but now i still can see some CWM nandroid backups i've made. I can see them only in titanium but i can't find them in the filesystem because i want delete these old CWM backups. I already spend some googling and searching for those damn backups but i can't find them. I have no clockworkmod folder, there is nothing in all thoses backup folders and so on. I was searching with ES-File explorer (with option show hidden files enabled). Does somebody have some hints where i can find these backups so i can delete them?
thanks

In titanium, open the menu and choose "Extract from Nandroid Backup", then it will show you all CWM and/or TWRP backups.

Whoa, never saw that before, that is so damn convenient! Try clearing data of titanium and see if that helps..

as mentioned above, use a root-enabled file explorer and go to "/data/media/" there you will see "clockworkmod"
thanks, solved.
i was wondering where can i find the configuration file for the stock luncher?
when i switch between different stock roms it's always a bugger to reconfigure all home screen and shortcuts...
so if i could just copy that file and replace it after installing a new rom that whould save some trouble, anyone have any idea?
EDIT:
i think i found it at
/data/data/com.sonyericsson.home
but there are only a few empty xmls there.. so i'm not sure thats the data i want.
Backup with titanium and then restore data only

Okay so before I get told to look at other threads I have, Multiple times and I have tried using the Lucky Patcher but I can't find the 'remove fixes and backups.' option anywhere.
Since I first downloaded it and rooted my phone I have not been able to update Snapchat or even install the Holo Version
This is also happening with other apps such as Facebook but not all.
It downloads fine, I probably have downloaded it 10 times now but it is the Installation where I get the error.
I was fine with this because I didn't care for updates but somehow randomly disappeared.
I didn't have enough room for a backup and I don't know how to install my Nandroid Backup or even where it is in general.
Has anyone got a fix, when I tried lucky patcher I couldn't find the 'remove fixes and backups' under troubleshooting.
There is a possible fix. Use a root file explorer to navigate to /data/app-lib. Find the specific folders for the apps which can be installed and remove those folders. That normally should fix it.

Hello, I know this is an old thread now.
However, I've been having an insufficient storage issue on my Galaxy S3 GTI9300.
It was happening with both Snapchat & Facebook. I tried every suggestion I could find on the web, deleting cache, dalvik, moving apps to external SD card, lucky patcher (no remove fixes and backups option anyway) and blah blah blah, I've deleted everything I dare to from the internal storage, it's now showing 4.65GB available. The only suggestion that half-worked was browsing to my /data/app-lib folder using a file manager and enabling root explorer. I deleted everything I could find for Snapchat and Facebook and for Snapchat, it has worked, I can now install updates from the play store. But for Facebook, the issue persists!
I'm on a custom ROM by the way, called Sentinel ROM V 6.0 (Android 4.4.2).
I'm on the verge of doing a factory reset and installing either this ROM or another custom one from fresh. Is there anything else I can try before doing this?
