I have a problem, I made a trigger on boot using the app: AutomateIt - Smart Automation
Trigger was:
- on start app: flitsmeister after 10 seconds open start/home screen
I then deleted the trigger and removed the app.
But....
The trigger is still working/active and i cannot find/delete it
Can someone tell me how i can really remove the trigger, where is it stored or executed so i can remove it manually...
Reinstall that app. Might let you get to it then.

What exactly is the purpose of adding apps to the Auto-End list? I've added IM, VZ Navigator, Voicemail (since I use Google Voice) and a few others, but whenever I open Task Manager those apps are still open and I have to end them manually.

I do believe it automatically terminates those programs/processes after a certain amount of time after the screen shuts off. But when you turn the screen back on, the processes restart.
Is there a way to keep those apps closed permanently? Also, is there a way to stop it from opening Verizon Media Manager every time I plug in the phone? Or do I just have to wait for root to remove those apps?

The Verizon Media Manager is opened through the drivers installed on your computer. I believe there may be a thread on that somewhere on XDA.
As far as permanently keeping those processes closed, we might have to wait for root to come in order to do that.

You can disable the Verizon Media Manager launch by right-clicking the little blue Motorola icon in the notification area on your computer and then selecting "Do Nothing" form the launch when phone is connected options.
Afternoon Guys,
I've recently bought a Samsung Galaxy S6 to replace my old Nexus 5. The lollipop update for the Nexus 5 crippled my phone and I needed a new one. Now moving on...once I've gone through the setup and downloaded all my apps. I then began to add my email accounts. After I added my Microsoft Exchange email for my company, the device then encrypts itselfs and I reboot the phone. After that process is done all the apps I previously downloaded are now disable. But here's the kicker i cannot see the disable apps in the application manager under the Disabled Apps Tab. I can see the apps that i manually disabled. The reason why I can see them is that when i go back to re-download them from the app store they appear as disable there. THere is an enable button but whenever I push to enabled button the app will stay as disabled. The only way that I got around this was to uninstall the app and then install it again. Now I don't want to constantly re-enable all my apps again. So guys I wanted to know a few things:
1. Has anyone else ran into this issue ?
2. Is there an app manager within the play store that displays all apps. disable and enabled ? I've haven't found anything yet.
3. This same issue happens when I go into ultra power saving mode.
P.S.
My phone is not rooted and I am familiar with the process. But I would rather leave my phone as is. Your feedback is much appreciated !
Here is an example of what I'm talking about.
I've got lastpass installed and have chosen to use the accessibility option as I want it to fill the forms in chrome, however the option in accessibility keeps disabling on it's own.
Anyone know a solution?
Wish I did, having the same issue. Seems to only occur after a restart though. I normally switch it off at night and let the alarm switch it back on in the morning.
I changed the app launch settings to manual in the battery menu to fix this

I changed the setting in the battery menu to "manual" but it still keeps disabling several times a day. Does anyone know is there's a fix?
I have a Mate 10 Pro and I have usually been getting this issue after a Huawei software update.
Old thread I know, but the only solution that has always worked for me is the following.
1. Uninstall Lastpass
2. Restart your phone
3. Install Lastpass and enable all the functions you like, including draw over other apps, fill helper bubble etc.
The options at least for me stay enabled until the next update. Without doing the above steps, they will just get auto-disabled after a few seconds.
It appears the Chamberlain and LiftMaster MyQ apps are now detecting root and complain that some features are not compatible with my device. Tried adding the app to the Magisk Hide list but it doesn't seem to make a difference.

Any ideas what could be done?
Some apps detect not only root itself but common root apps such as Titanium Backup. If you don't already have Magisk set up with a randomized package name that could help. If you do already or it still doesn't work after I would try removing your root apps or seeing if they have their own hide functionality like randomizing the package name.

Hiding Magisk Manager works for me.
I tried clearing the app data thinking that maybe they check once and keep track of it, but it didn't help. I'm not a fan of hiding Magisk Manager, so I'll just live with it the way it is, I use a password manager to fill in the password so it's not horrible.
Why don't you like hiding magisk manager?
My phone wasn't even rooted and myQ was giving me the error message that it won't save the credentials. I had LuckyPatcher program installed but after its deletion myQ allowed me to save the username password combination. Btw what an annoying company Chamberlain is, they want $9/month to integrate myQ with ITTT or Google Home. Any workarounds?
Yeah I work around to enable Google home integration as well as Alexa integration would be to used Z-Wave enabled garage controller. The bad part is you'll need to wire it into one of the handheld garage door openers to bypass the Chamberlayne encryption and then you'll have to register the garage door controller with a custom device template in your home automation system to where your garage door is seen as a light and then you'll be able to use the command turn on or turn off and then the name of your garage door device name it's a major pain in the butt but it works. Home automation device manufacturers specifically include code that intentionally block or restrict voice commands to open or close the garage doors for liability purposes as well as laws that have been signed into a fact that Force manufacturers to restrict voice enabled commands for garage doors
Old thread but I got a Chamberlain myQ for Christmas. Saw root detection. I selected myQ in Magisk Hide settings and cleared the storage l/data for the myQ app. No issues for me. I just double checked writing this post too.
I'm very chuffed with Pie so far, only issue I have is that if I deactivate Find my Device in settings, when I restart my phone its reactivated itself, anyway (maybe through adb) to deactivate permanently? I see also that in Settings, Accounts that the Duo account will be re-added every time you reboot your phone, even if you remove the account...any adb method to disable this too? thanks

I would urge others to check their devices, if they deactivate find my device and then reboot their phone, to see if it then has reactivated on its own...
I have the same issue. Cannot deactivate Google's Admin Access, so basically anyone who gains access to your google account can easily remotely wipe the phone with nothing you can do to disable it.
