X98 Plus II: Android not working: how to reinstall? - Teclast X98 Air 3G

Yesterday I updated it via OTA and stayed in bootloop. It does not go beyond the TECLAST logo.
I already downloaded the installation files from this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/x98-air/development/x98-plus-ii-files-repository-c2d4-c2d6-t3468730 but I have no idea how to install it. I tried to follow the tutorial but I cannot active developer options in Android since it is not working. I also tried to use the flash phone tool, but it does not recognize the tablet.
I would appreciate any help.

[Q] How to repair/restore?

Hi,
The Whole Story (skipable but it contains the details):
I wanted to install a custom ROM on my xPeria SP. I knew I had to root my phone so I went to the tutorial ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2440375 ) for this. Everything went well and I managed to root. (I
Now, since I wanted kitkat 4.4 ROM, I searched for another tutorial. (http://techbeasts.com/2013/11/30/install-android-4-4-kitkat-cm-11-custom-rom-on-sony-xperia-sp/. )
It said I needed an unlocked bootloader. So I managed to do this as well.... I think. I hadn't checked this.
It also said that i needed the clockwordrecoverymod. Therefore I followed this tutorial. (http://techbeasts.com/2013/11/18/ho...ony-xperia-sp-on-12-0-a-2-254-firmware-guide/).
Then I went on with the Kitkat tutorial. I did every step until VII. I had to deconnect my phone to insert an SD-card. I tried to turn on my phone and it had a bootloop: The Sony logo appeared, then the colourful waves, then it got stuck and it started over again.
I tried whether I could boot in CWM but that didn't work either. I still could connect in fastboot mode so I tried te reinstall the CWM via another website. (http://editandroid.blogspot.be/2013/06/sony-xperia-sp-install-custom.html). I flashed the kernel like they said, then deconnected my phone.
The Problem:
Now I can't put it in fastboot or flash mode. I can start it up but everytime I do, it get's stuck at some point (like when turning on the wifi or browsing through the playstore) and reboots itself or I have to wait a long time before it works again. Also all the factory settings are restored and all data is wiped out.
Is there any way I can fix this?
Extra information:
-Windows Vista 32Bit
-C5303 Model
-Yes, I've used a couple times the Hard restore.
-Flashtool by Androxyde used
EDIT: I can go into flash/fastboot mode

[SOLVED] Bricked LG O4X, not detected by SW Updater

Right, I was foolish enough to try rooting, and installing Cyanogen mod on my Optimus 4X HD, without any prior experience. I was quite nervous about it all, but after my phone started acting like a retard, I decided to go through with it. Found a guide online.
I rooted it, installed CWM (or atleast I thought I did), then I hit enter Recovery Mode, and got stuck in a bootloop where the LG logo was just flashing. Then I went into Android Recovery (which I thought was CWM at first) and wiped the cache, wiped data / factory reset, and tried to apply an update that was on my SD card (where I put the Cyanogen zip). It would not find my SD card, probably because its in NTFS format, and not FAT32. Still stuck in a bootloop.
I then decided to revert back and install a new FW.
Heres a list of what Ive tried, and what errors Ive got when Ive booted the phone into SW update mode. (Vol down and power)
LG Mobile Support (Error: Phone has newest version of software)
LG PC Suite (Error: Same as above)
Software Update through KDZ file (Error: Phone / device not found)
Software Update through .DZ & .DLL file (Error: No progress being made on LG FLASH TOOL, also tried different versions)
Ive tried countless versions of drivers, uninstalling and installing every single one of them. Also disabling / enabling USB MODEM DRIVER did not help. My last idea is to put an update on my SD card after Ive bought a mem card reader and made it into FAT32, could that work? If so, where can I get the update? Hope you can help a desperate man. Thank you.
Running Win8.1 64bit.
PS If you need any more info, please ask and I will fill you in as detailed as I can.

since you haven't able to apply update, just wiped thing, I see no reason you cant' boot to stock LG
0) " made it into FAT32, could that work? If so, where can I get the update? " -> do more research
1) Did you unlock bootloader? if dont know then do more research
2) kdz update: windows enabler on? dont understand -> more research
3) driver: unplug, remove battery, hold volume down, insert batt back, plug in

0) Okay
1) No, bootloader is locked
2) I tried flashing with KDZ v20b, but phone was not found with the application. Tried several drivers and USB ports. Enabler was on yes.
3) Those instructions have been followed.
LS.xD told me it could be because of win 8.1, so I will try with win 8 and win 7 later today.
He also said Ive been stupid for trying to do this with android 4.0.3, and not updating to 4.1.2 first. I guess this is what happens when a noob tries new stuff, although the guide I followed did not bother mention that.
Issue has been solved. Thank you for everyone that helped, especially LS.xD.
My problem was a OS / Driver Compatibility issue. I tried installing a driver, and flashing with v20a on my neighbors computer, and it worked 1st time. We were both running win 8.1, but something must be wrong with my computer I guess.
I have the same problem and i don't know what to do
i have tried different computers and i still having the same problem
phone is n't found
any one can help me plz

Help Needed -- Phone Stuck

Hello all. Hoping I can get some quick help, as I'm leaving here soon for the rest of the week, and REALLY need my phone!
Running Dynamic Pop 6.0 Rom on my T-Mobile phone. I tried to install Xposed from this thread with TWRP....
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3034811
(installed the xposed-sdk21-arm-20150430.zip file)
It said it installed successfully, and to reboot. I rebooted, and now it boots to the Samsung screen and stalls there. It won't boot up any further. I can still pull battery and reboot into recovery and download mode. Any suggestions?
Try this one instead
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3113463
Also search for xposed talk in the PopRocks thread.
Thanks.
I ended up just flashing the stock rom and starting from scratch.

Please i need help, after flashing xposed framework, i cant booting my S5.

Hey everybody,
i hope so much, that anyone can help me. After i installed the recovery TeamWin (TWRP) (it was successful), i tried to flash Xposed Framework manually, i got again an massage "it was successful". But after that i can not start my Samsung Galaxy S5. It shows me only the Samsung Logo and nothing happened. Of course i tried via TeamWin an factory reset but i still can not boot my smartphone (Stop at the Samsung Logo). My S5 ist rooted, i`m using 5.0 (lollipop). Version of the TeamWin was 2.8.7.0 and of the Xposed Framework "xposed-v74-sdk21-arm". Has anybody an idea? I would be very happy. Should i delete the TeamWin recovery? But how? I want to install the standard recovery of Samsung, but how to do this? Where can i find the original Recovery from Samsung?
Xposed isn't supported on latest Android versions (r23). You should just remove Xposed from your phone, by using this tutorial:
Code:

Thank you, but i cant find the xposed folder...because i made a factory reset
Just delete the files and folders that you can see (those which are Xposed related). It should fix your problem.
Or just flash ovet your rom again (dirty, without wiping).
Sorry it took long time for me to answer.
Edit:
Read sticky, there's a script that uninstalls it automatically. This should work 100%
always make nandroid backup before flashing
Having the same problems
So I'm having the same problem. The Framework says it installs correctly, but after reboot, device gets stuck at the Samsung screen. I don't understand the comment android r23. I'm looking at the build info and I don't see this anywhere. Some explanation or assistance would be great.
I'm not sure why sdk 23 was even mentioned as Lolliopo 5.0 is sdk 21.
@LieberKerl, you got the xposed-v74-sdk21-arm.zip from Rovo89's thread, correct? If so this will not work on stock Samsung Touchwiz ROMs as mentioned in the first post of that thread.
There is no Xposed that will work on a stock Samsung Touchwiz ROM, it must be deodexed first and if you have a deodexed ROM, you need arter97's unofficial Xposed from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/unofficial-xposed-samsung-lollipop-t3113463.
If you don't know what deodexed is, there's a bit of reading ahead of you. If you don't want to deodex your Lollipop 5.0 ROM, then you're out of luck.
It takes longer to boot after the install, how long did you leave the samsung boot logo up? it took nearly 15 mins to boot after rom install and around 5 mins after xposed framework. I went through alot of hassle just to discover i was impatient.
Reflash stock ROM with Odin.
after flashing in my unite 3 notification bar disappeared and phone is restarting again and again

Cannot Install Xposed in Samsung Galaxy S6
I have the same issue with a Samsung Galaxy S6. I tried installing "xposed-v87-sdk23-arm64.zip" using TWRP. But Every time I do it the phone either goes completely black or shows the Samsung Logo flickering permanently. To fix this I need to go into TWRP again and install "xposed-uninstaller-20160829-arm64.zip". I tried leaving the phone with the black screen/logo flickering for over 1 hour hoping it might be installing something but the only way to turn the phone back on is with the uninstaller.
I thought that it might be due to not having OEM unlock enabled, but I cannot find the option in "developer tools". Then I tried to do it through ADB command lines but when I enter the command "fastboot-windows oem unlock " it gets stuck with the message "waiting for device". So I also tried installing PdaNet both on my windows 7 PC and the phone itself (Android 6.0.1) and I made sure I have the phone drivers installed on my PC.
All I want is to use Xposed modules on my Galaxy S6. Is it even possible? If so, what should I do?
I appreciate any suggestions.
Thank you.

Most likely your issue is caused because you did not install the correct framework version. You need the one from wanam. Just search for "Xposed Samsung wanam" and you'll find your answer.

Install custom/stock rom with locked bootloader and no access to OS

Hi there,
I got a bricked G5S+, which I reported in another thread already.
It was booting, showing the blue Motorola screen but ended up with a lying down android with a red questionmark and saying 'no command'.
That happened after I rebootet the cellphone for a longer time.
I read through a couple of threads and finally decided, I need to flash stock again.
I did not have switched on USB debugging and so on, as the phone was quite new to me and now cannot access android anymore to do so.
Anyway I thought: fine: I will just flash the stock OS again taking care of the software defect.
After having had some issues I flashed Sanders (SANDERS_NPS26.116-26_cid50_subsidy-DEFAULT_regulatory-DEFAULT_CFC.xml) following that thread here:
https://animetrick.com/flash-stock-rom-moto-g5s-plus-locked-bootloader-2018/
It is quite similar as this thread, which deals with installing a stock OS to a bootloader-locked phone:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/g5-plus/how-to/solution-to-flash-stock-romfactory-t3691396
The thing is I followed all steps but still get the same error:
A lying down android with a red questionmark and saying 'no command'.
Does anyone have an idea what else to try?
I am not aversed to install a custom Rom, such as the official RR v6.0.0, but I have no idea how to do so with a currently bricked phone.
Maybe you guys have a solution for me to unbrick and finally use my phone again.
Thanks a lot!
Regards from Germany
Matt
Hey bro Im not sure if you still need help but, if so can you try to boot into a recovery?
Hi Carlos,
yes I still need help.
I can boot into recovery. And fastboot runs and detects the phone, too.
Any idea what I can do?
Go ahead and download twrp from the Roms sections and also begin the process to unlock the boot loader, we can see if it still can be done without having enabled the setting in the developer sections, and if so we can either then flash the recovery and a custom rom or install stock again.
Sent from my iDevice running Smoothshake v11.3.1
I solved my problem:
It was the SD card. I cannot believe it.
I got myself another G5S Plus and swapped everything:
Same issue.
So I removed the memory card and all good again.
There is no need anymore to install a custom rom (at least not currently )
I am quite sad though not having figured that out earlier, becoz all my data is lost now....
Thanks for your help though!
I have fallen into same issue, i cannot install any custom rom or recovery to it but i can access fastboot & one recovery that has update via adb sideload / sd card but nothing works, shows failed line 2 error / install aborted .
the device just showing oem locked in fastboot & rom install or recovery install fails & says cause too many links
the phone starts & stucks after the motorola logo
anybody with any idea?
