[Q] How to install Jelly bean on Samsung Galaxy Note

hellou,i want to put jelly bean on my galaxy note,so can somebody help me,plsss.
now i have 4.0.3. software.
if is possiblle this one [ROM][4.1.2 JB]Ultimate N7000 XXLSC JellyBean 4.1.2 v5.1,
plss video or something beacuse i am an begginer.

which JB you want? JB TW leaks or custom.
TW JB can be either installed using PC odin
for custom roms you will need to root and get CWM and then install by following the ROM thread instructions

As you are on a dangerous kernel (wiping data may follow with a hard brick) do not wipe your data untill you are on JB
1. Go into settings => about phone => build number
2. Search for a kernel that corresponds to your build number, ex you will have N7000XXLSC in your build number so you are looking for XXLSC (NOTE: Read the kernel thread and understand it). Download this file onto your external memory.
3. Turn your phone off, then turn it on by holding volume up, home button and power on button all at the same time.
4 Select install zip from sd card, select it and let it do it's thing.
5 Your phone will reboot if all goes well and you will be on a safe kernel and you will have root
6. Reboot phone and go to recovery again, make a backup
6. Downlaod a jelly bean rom from the development forum and install according to instructions

Have you flashed that file? Download it onto your external memory, turn your phone off, press and hold all at once three buttons: volume up, home button, power button. Select install from sdcard (or something along those lines but NOT update.zip, preload etc.) and select that file. Once that is done either watch that youtube video nokiamodeln91 posted or have a look at roms in the development sections:

Once you have flashed that file I gave you then copy a ROM (I suggest a TW ROM, link at the end of my post) onto your internal or external storage to your phone, go into recovery again (turn device off, hold power, home, volume up) and select backup. This will take some time. Then once that is done go for wipe data/factory reset (all of this in recovery), confirm, then wipe cache, then advanced => wipe dalvik cache. Once these wipes have been done you can select Install zip from internal/external memory card. Select the zip file you downloaded and you're ready

ok, it should be like this ..?
First put philz.zip on ex.sd.
Then make the first set of steps. So I installed philZ .. After that I have to do Backup,
then put the ultimate ROM on sd and install it .. and that is it ..? I have a jelly bean on my cell phone ..?

Yes, but before you install the ultimate rom you have to do those wipes I mentioned

this time I do it properly, here I shared my step..

Backup App with TBU as update.zip (you can restore in recovery since TBu dont work w/ ART runtime)

Update-SuperSU 1.80
Recovery:
TWRP 2.6.3.0
Step:
-Reboot into recovery
-Nandroid backup your stock rooted KRT16O
-wipe data/cache/dalvikcache
-flash AOSP-ROM/Gapps/Update-superSU
(DONT FLASH TBu update.zip yet - This last step)
-wipe dalvikcache/cache
-reboot
On device:
-finished setup wizard
-go to setting (enable dev mode/inst. unknown source etc.)
(skip app update from playstore)
-Reboot
-Enable ART runtimes (its will request reboot)
-Reboot(5-10min optimizing app)
-now you can update app from playstore)
(to restore TBu app backup.zip, flash in recovery -on this part idk which app from your backup that compatible w/ ART, test by yourself and feel free to share with)

did you install manually any emoji/keyboard before? I recommend you start with flash factory img > aosp rom > enable ART

I had swiftkey and had removed all of the other keyboards.
Thats what I did was flash the system with 4.4 system img.
Im going to flash this so I can overclock and have art and do benchmarking

There is an alternate way to enable ART
Xperia, HTC, samsung stock roms dont ship with ART option in developer settings, so there is a workaround Enable ART on any Stock ROM via recovery

Download Odin v3.13.1
Download and install Samsung Drivers (if you have them installed you can skip this step)
Go to settings/Developer options and enable OEM unlock (If you don't see developer settings, go into Settings/About phone/Software info and tap "Build number" 10 times to show Developer options menu)
Download TWRP_*.tar
Switch off the phone
Use Home+Volume Down+Power to enter Download Mode and connect the device to usb
Open Odin and untick autoreboot in "options" tab. Also make sure that your device is detected
Put TWRP_*.tar.md5 file into AP tab
Click Start
When Odin shows "PASS", take your device in hands, disconnect the usb cable and press simultaneously the "Home" + "Vol. Down" + "Power" buttons until the downoad mode disappears
At the precise moment the screen becomes black, immediately release the "Vol.Down" button and press the "Home" + "Vol. UP" + "Power" buttons during 10 to 15sec to forcefully enter TWRP
If it didn`t worked, redo the steps from #1 more careful this time.
TWRP
Download TWRP_*.img, push it into phone storage, choose install image in your current recovery, navigate to downloaded *.img file, select it, select to flash as recovery.
Optional - Download and flash no-verity-opt-encrypt-6.0 zip to disable data partition encryption

This is Untested since i dont own that variant, so please mention weather it worked or not.
G and GM can probably be installed on either device

the version for J530GM is installed and it does not start twrp starts the phone,
the version for J530G is installed if it starts twrp and it works MTP does not mount data, mount system, and does not detect internal memory of the phone.

Pie ROM the best is Black Diamond N8 v2.0 until Now (Best for battery life especially with ThunderStrom kernel 2.3 + Franz profile).

Flashing Instructions
(Download both the ROM, boot, vendor_boot & dtbo images from the link below)​Rebooting to the Recovery
• Connect your device to your PC via USB if isn't already
• If your device is not already in fastboot mode, on the computer, open a command prompt (on Windows) or terminal (on Linux or macOS) window, and type:

adb reboot bootloader
Flash the downloaded image files to your device by typing:

fastboot flash dtbo <dtbo>.img
fastboot flash vendor_boot <vendor_boot>.img
fastboot flash boot <boot>.img
Now reboot into recovery to verify the installation:

Flashing from the Recovery
• Download the CherishOS installation package that you would like to install from the download link
• If you are not in recovery, reboot into recovery
• Now tap

and continue with the formatting process. This will remove encryption and delete all files stored in the internal storage, as well as format your cache partition (if you have one).

• Sideload the CherishOS package

If you want to flash Magisk go to

Once you have installed everything successfully, click the back arrow in the top left of the screen, then "Reboot system now"
FYI to Reboot into the Recovery without fastboot you just need to hold the Vol + button while powering on the device

- Update to CherishOS 4.7 (April 2023 Patch)
- ALL Audio Issues are now fixed

You can sideload rom zip using your computer that issue was fixed no need for sd card
