Hi guys,
I have been gifted a Rhinoshield bumper case this Xmas..
But I'm facing a problem now : HOW TO REMOVE THIS THING ^^?
It's hard to put on, hard to remove and a bit too loose on th side..

I have one too. Too take it off i simply apply pressure to the top right corner upwards so that the phone comes out face first. After that its downhill.
I have one too. For me it seems to really depend on temperature. If you warm up the rubber part on the front, it will become softer. Apply pressure to the back of the phone on either of the top corners and the phone should come out easily after one of the corners are out.
Which tempered glass goes well with rhino shield bumper?

OK, after hurting my fingers and popping my screen half way out i found a solution. Okay the screen doesnt came off but I did can pop it back in a little bit.
I used a hairdryer and heated the bumber up a lot!
After it I did take it off!
Same thing here, this bumper really is too tight in my opinion.
I also heard several cracking noises when I tried to take it off, I did it exactly like they show it in their video tutorials...
i see the problem when people having a difficult to open this case is they are using thier fingers.
i just use towel or any cloth to cover up top right corner, then apply a little by little pressure by the bottom of your hand (not fingers). i use the skin around palm.
it will just flap opened. no heat or anything else. needed
And for those who terrified the screen will break, it will not.

Lol I did Not try this Out. Maybe next time
**** grammar correction (german) try to write words in caps
I want to couple my rhinoshield with either of these two:
1. Gadgetshieldz screen protector with front and back covered
2. Gadgetshieldz screen protector on front and a dbrands on back.
http://www.gadgetshieldz.com/oneplus-3-screen-protectors-covers-cases.html in case gadgetshieldz is a new name to you
Also I haven't still bought the rhinoshield bumper but my planning to do so and I want to fully cover my phone so has to prevent it from further debts or scratches
so far the best method to take off the RhinoShield! Thanks

OK chaps, after the reports of the Home Button being plastic (I am pretty sure it is) I asked ScreenKnight, one of the suppliers on amazon.co.uk if they would produce a screen protector for it along with some to protect the very scratch prone heart rate sensor/flash and the outer part of the camera lens. Well they kindly obliged...
I have not received mine yet as am currently working away until the weekend but will post a review once I have them in hand and applied. However I cannot see it hurting to add that little bit more protection.
I did test the fingerprint sensor with a screen protector over it (prior to my request) and it worked fine but you may need to re-train a finger or two.
http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01CXHMUVO
Hope this helps a few!
Camera protectors sound good in theory, after all who wants the cover for the camera lens to end up scratched or cracked? However, they almost always end up in a degraded image quality. I would be interested in protecting the home button though, providing the protection doesn't interfere with print reading. Look forward to the review.
I did request that there is a hole for the lens, so only protects the outer part, I would never use a protector that covered the whole leans part.... but will report back once home at the weekend..
Also, from tests out there the camera is very scratch resistant anyway
I wonder how much money would the screen protectors cost, let alone the skill you would need to put these on perfect. I know I could do it, just worried about the rest who have a hard time putting on a screen protector!
I think putting these on will be very easy tbh, just line up one end, no room for bubbles etc. Let's hope I am not eating my own words soon lol
Should get mine tomorrow so we will see
I suppose the protector on the home button would be useful for raising it a little when a screen protector is applied to the screen.

no its fine wasnt a lot of money and i would have ordered it if i had seen it anyway. not blaming you in the slightest mate. if you have better luck i may try again as may have done something wrong will wait for your attempt first though
i can confirme it is horrible:
putting it on is easy, quality is horrible and most for the home button it is way too thick and fingerprint is unusable. removing it also leaves residue, worth a try for few bucks
Don't buy this.. I bought it and scratched the heart rate monitor trying to put it on. I have a ultimate shields camera covers. It came with the full body screen protector and it's brilliant. The camera protector has a hole for the sensor area so no loss in image quality.

My HRM got scracthed on day 1. I didn't realize it was cheap plastic so when brushing it off with one of my DSLR lens brushes it got scratched. I was surprised to say the least, but i never use it, nor do I even remember it being there so it doesn't matter to me.
Did anybody of you try on home button some liquid protector like wowfixit for example?

Hi All,
I've got an odd mark on the rear camera lens, i'm pretty sure it's not always been there, and from the looks of it is on the surface but it will not rub off. Tried Glass cleaner wipes, micro fibre cloth etc. It almost look like when you get an air bubble trapped under a screen protector. I know it's only tiny, but i know it's there and it's really bugging me.. any suggestions on what it may be, how to get rid of it?
Cheers
Paul
Some manufacturers do put a small clear plastic protector over lenses just like the one on the touchscreen when you get the phone.
Check it's not got one as you may simply need to remove it.

Thanks Pat, It was my initial thought, it really looks like an air bubble. But I've tried peeling at the edges of it with my nail but can't sense if its got plastic on it or not.
I'm beginning to think this is something on the inside of the glass.

Ah well, let's see if anyone else has similar, I assume it doesn't affect anything, just asthetic, I haven't a comparison myself as I've yet to get my hands on a handset.
The bigger question is - does it affect picture quality?
The sensor doesn't cover the entire glass face so it might not. However, it may cause glare/reflection side effects if the sun shines on the bubble.
I have to agree with Pat, I compared your picture to mine and unless it's just the picture it sure looks like there is a film of some kind on it. Try a good piece of tape towards the edge of the ring and peel it up, you never know.

Consider buying a B-7000 glue, it is used for displays mostly, I was advised by a friend to use it, since my screen has unglued as well, and he has already repaired couple of Z3/Z3c devices with it, and there were no reported lifted screens since than. For the back panel, you can use double sided tape, but adding B-7000 glue on one side (to avoid cracking sounds, depending on the used tape probably). You can do a bit of searching on Youtube for repair videos, I recall watching some with the mentioned B-7000 glue, easy to find.
I haven't done it myself, but I will very soon, dust has filled my front cam, and proximity sensor.
Good luck.

I think B7000 will get the job done. I have used it for my device and it has been a month already, screen and back plate haven't moved a bit, its like new. One thing to remember though, you have to make sure the whole frame is COMPLETELY covered with glue, otherwise it will not be enough to hold the screen. I made a mess at first try, because I missed some spots and the screen lifted on sides, next time though, I've checked 3 times for any empty spots and applied glue to those spots, now everything is perfect. Of course, you should cover frame only, avoid applying that much so that glue is dripping inside the phone itself.
Good luck

Gooood, ill give it a shot. But i was thinking if must remove back cover and the screen for glue only a corner...the back cover doesnt have any problem, only the display in left corner is unglued. And if i must to remove thats, i must buy and that adezive black or simple use only b7000 ? Thanks
I have some of the B-7000. Stuck the screen down over a week ago appears to be fine. The only issue I have is that I think the glue has squeezed onto the front camera, the camera is now blurred. I don't use the front one so it's not a big problem.

I have used the glue, it's fine, you don't need stickers
You can try applying the glue only in that corner as well, but I'm not sure how well will that fix the issue.
I had to remove the screen anyway to clean the notification led cutout and front camera, so I didn't care for the back plate sticker.

tape out both sides of the led light/lens and finger print reader as to only have the small 'bridge' between the two sections where your scratches are nit taped. tape off also bottom and top where the camera section meets the body of the phone. make nice and straight tape lines. then paint and varnish the exposed section . it will be barely visible if you do a good tape job. paint black wait for it to be dry enought then , varnish and remove tape after a few minutes when the varnish is still a bit soft. then for the love of god get a case.

I'll give it a try. And I've had a unicorn beetle case on it since day 1. I also kept on the back protector that it comes with, put on a screen protector, and even put narrow strips of clear packing tape on the right left and top bezel/frame of the phone and then put it into the case. The camera/finger print area is the only unprotected area on my phone. I actually just now put a piece of scotch tape over the fingerprint reader to protect it from scratches and it still works perfectly.
must have been real unlucky to had it dinged just at the wrong place.
That's what happens when you get arrested for public intox and cops confiscate your phone and put it in a bag with your keys.
So should I paint the whole "bridge" or just the two nicks?

maybe the whole thing as it might be less apparent and more cimetric. you could also paint the whole thin bezel to. might protect against future alcohol related endeavours.
I might paint the whole thing. Could I actually make it look as good as it originally is? What do you think about taping it off and spray painting? Idk how to tape off the curved edges of the camera/finger print reader.

spray paint on such a small surface... i dont know. put at least 3 coats. each coat must be thin and uniform. spray at a far distance.
painting on smooth surfaces usualy requires an enameled paint. U need a paint that will resist chipping and that will cure hard.
https://plaidonline.com/brands/folkart/enamels
as for your taping skills then stick to first picture to keep things simple and straight lined.
you could also use a wide tape and cut out the sections with a sharp razor that you need to paint.
when using multiple coats you need to wait a bit between each so it dries enough. keep in mind you still need to have the total coats to be flexible enough so when you remove tape that it will be removed easily and not chip the section you just painted. maybe practice on a piece of glass before.
anyways just be sure surface is grease free before painting.

Zaggs tempered glass revision 2 has been on the money. I've placed this thing on twice. Once when I got it and, the second time, I removed it from my old unit after a screen burn-in replacement, and place it onto my new unit. No air bubbles and the glass feels high quality, comparable to Whitestone sans the complex installation. It sits on the screen only slightly curving to the edge, and it does sit flush without interfering with the edge tab if I choose to use it. It is quite expensive ($50) but imho, it's quite worth it after successful installation. Highly recommend it!

While I agree with you that it goes on nicely you didn't mention that since it doesn't cover as much screen as other protectors and also has black side bars you get a weird effect where there's screen, black bar, rest of the screen which is quite annoying.

yes there are black borders around SP which the top and bottom part aligns with the phone borders, so no issues there. Depending on an individual's taste, the side borders may be of concern. However, I made no mention of any weird effects as a result from the blk borders and / or the edges not being fully covered because I haven't experienced any negative effects thru general use of the phone. I must also mention, that in some apps, i.e. flipboard the first letters of words that display close to the edge of the screen may be partially blocked by the SP borders. But for me that's not a problem, as i don't experience this issue with most of the apps I use on a daily basis.

i have tried these, good product in terms of clarity and touch sensitivity. the issue i had was that the vertical edges would easily crack with a bit of pressure as they dont seat on the screen as well as they should.
my current solution for using these is to remove the adhesive backing and reapply with loca adhesiveand cure with uv light.

They at least have an all clear one here with no black bars if you go to the select page, still doesn't look like it goes all the way to the sides https://m.aliexpress.com/item/32852...00_0109&spm=a2g0n.search-amp.list.32852741886

Tested these a month ago. Cracked two working out bubbles. Glass quality is very bad. One cracked on the right side. The other on the bottom using a fingernail to work out a bubble. No chance that this is good 9h tempered glass. Opened a dispute and got both refunded. My opinion, not recommended.
Not recommended too, to narrow, covering edges with black bars completely.

Not recommended too, same bad glass like the one posted and cutting display on the bottom

ok so i purchased one and it arrived yesterday
while applying it i got some dust stuck under the protector, tried to take it out but it wouldnt move
applied it anyway and its pretty good except for the air bubbles near the curved sides of the screen (and the dust particles)
the protector is really fragile too, it chipped and cracked a corner while working out the bubbles - others have complained that theirs cracked for no reason
other than that it actually feels amazing and is compatible with the ringke fusion
ive contacted support, hopefully theyll send me out a new one
I wonder why they disabled comments in their video?
What's the best between this one and Dome Glas ?
I don't like the cut around speaker - face camera ...
A real full cover for front face is the most beautiful but may be not very good for quality of face camera ???
