The CB 3.5.4 is out
This update includes:
Added new App Lock feature
Fixed keyguard crashes when enabling sim card lock in multiple languages
Optimized accent colors in default themes
Optimized translations for certain languages
Improved the quality of expanded screenshots
Increased system stability
General bug fixes

If you’ve already flashed a previous community build, you will receive this update via OTA. If you haven’t, you will need to flash this build by ADB sideload. Your data my transfer, but there is always a possibility of losing personal data, so be sure to backup all of your important data before flashing this build. As stated before, once you flash the community build, you’ll continue getting community OTAs.

If you come from Official Build or CB Dirty Flash would work fine
Flash the Updated TWRP 3.0.2-22 either image flash via existing TWRP or via Fastboot Mode
1. Boot into Modified Recovery:
2. Wipe Dalvik & Cache
3. Flash the full 3.5.4 Zip
4. Wipe Dalvik and Cache
5. Flash SuperSu (Optional if you need to maintain root)
6. Flash Xposed, Kernel any other mods (Optional)
7. Flash Modified TWRP as image (even if you are already on it)
8. Reboot to into recovery directly to verify TWRP still functional (this will prevent recovery from being overwrite by the stock)
9. Reboot System & Profit
PS: System will reboot twice if you flashed SuperSU, Dont Panic
If you come from a custom rom, i recommend a clean flash.
After the recovery update by @eng.stk we no longer need to run the CB 3.5.4 with 3.2.X firmware and the latest Kernel is r137 which can be flashed.

If you come from a Custom Rom Factory Reset and Clean Flash
If you come from OOS based rom Dirty Flash as below:
1. Boot into Official TWRP
2. Wipe Dalvik cache + cache
3. Flash the Firmware zip
4. Flash OOS 3.5.4 zip
5. Wipe Dalvik and Cache
6. Flash official twrp as image (even if you are already on it)
7. Reboot to into recovery directly (this will prevent recovery from being overwrite by the stock)
7. Flash SuperSU Optional (If you need Root Access)
8. Reboot System & Profit
PS: System will reboot twice if you flashed SuperSU, Dont Panic

What I did for installing 3.5.4 :
I was on 3.5.3, using Twrp 3.0.2-19
I downloaded 3.5.4 and clean flashed using TWRP 3.0.2.19.
After installation,I pressed Reboot. I got a warning : No system installed, still I slided for reboot. I went black but I forced phone to restart again. after a few mins, It rebooted.
I went back to Recovery, but it cleared TWRP and installed Stock recovery, again I flashed TWRP 3.0.2.19, and installed SuperSu.
Now, everything is allright.

Is it still needed to use the modified TWRP?
What would happen if I install official TWRP after having installed and booted 3.5.4?
Would it break something or the system would boot normally?

if you haven't read on the oneplus community people are having an issue where if SIM lock is enabled they can't get past the initial PIN screen, just be aware

The update message also says Added option to adjust background colors and control default theme. But download.oneplus.net page doesn't mention this in their changelog. Weird.

Could anyone check if the changing DPI messes with the quick toggles?

Happened to me. I updated via OTA and then I cannot input my SIM PIN since lockscreen keeps popping up. Tried wiping cache, data, system recovery etc... and now I am downloading 3.5.3 to flash again since I still cannot use the phone.

GREAT NEW FEATURES.

Anyone managed to successfully dirty flash? I have root and Xposed, cant OTA and I'd like to have my data intact.

Ive noticed on first install it wont boot. So to fix this, wipe data in twrp, flash rom first than let it boot to system without flashing magisk. Than connect to pc and flash oreo twrp again because twrp replaced with stock recovery. Than follow below instructions.
Also I've noticed sometimes you need to flash magisk 14.5...2 times for it to boot.

install Oreo beta in twrp. Reboot back into twrp. Than flash magisk 14.5. it's the only one that will boot for me. Than reboot.

What is the procedure for installing these ROMs. I tried before to install twrp, format data, copy rom from PC, flash rom and magisk. But when I go to boot up it just reboots on the "mi" screen twice and goes to recovery.

try first boot without flashing magiskbefore, then it worked for me.

Haven't tried to flash without magisk, but would it make sense? Seems most people I have read are able to do so. Formatting data only with the Oreo twrp correct?

Yeah don't need to flash magisk but will loose Oreo recovery.

Regarding flashing them, an alternative to using twrp is flashing with fastboot -- If there is interest I might make a tool to help with that.

Just installed latest Build.
Runs super fluid, no major issues so far.
Just noticed that some settings in Chronos causing a force close, nothing too important.
And iphone X gestures are goddamn awessome!

FYI new build is up. 8.1.18 -- check link in original post for download link. Changelog just mentions stability fixes.

There is a fastboot application that works really well.

I am unable to alter the brightness on the Oreo TWRP. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks

is dirty flash possible? Or via update function in miui?
Or do I have to setup the mix2 new every time?

Treble ROMS/P20 Pro Stock Camera app

As we know we have a few treble Roms available for our device. But they are not stable at all in terms of the camera.they could be faster and smoother than the stock 7.0.
20 mpx Huawei mate 9 camera has a lot of features but those Roms lack that privilege.
Actually, we have a great Nougat Roms as well. Which I prefer - fromfuture-.

Hi! Yes,its Worth it tough. Is fast and smooth.and lineage as well.
Pretty much just a few bugs, but minors. Now we have 4g available on RR remix.the only issue is the twrp .still encrypted,if I want to flash any zip file from there I need to moved to my Sd card.
Also I can't flash the - Adaway Youtube-magisk module.I don't know why

I have RR and rooted though Magisk with SafetyNet passed.
All in all it's very nice, sometimes my phone makes noises even if it's in "Not disturb" Mode. But that only happened twice till now.
Everything else works! GPS, Wifi. 4g, Bluetooth etc. Only Android Auto doesnt work for me, but that's not that important.

How do you go about installing this rom? I'm worried Ill screw up my mate 9 but I hate emui so much. I'm using fromfuture with twrp atm

So fromfuture is Nougat based?
Then you need to upgrade to Oreo first. Just search the forum, there are several Guides.
After that extract the stock boot.img, kernel.img and recovery_ramdisk.img from your stock rom using Huawei Update Extractor (settings->uncheck checks)
Than simply flash the three Images through fastboot on your phone and do a Data Format + Cache Wip ein Stock Recovery.
Than flash RR Rom with fastboot flash system and Twrp if you want.

Then you can use HiSuite on your PC to create a backup of your data.
So if you are using EMUI 8 your phone is already on stock Oreo?

Is the front camera working in the stock huawei camera on RR? if it is might try updating tonight...

Yes it is on stock oreo I did a backup of the data but what about the system? Or update.app so I can back to stock again if I wanted to?

Normal Camera app works well for me with both cameras. I don't have Huawei Stock Camera installed.

If you have your data backup already you can easily go to RR and back to Stock if you want with this method.
First you need to unlock your bootloader with the code you will get/got from Huawei. See here.
1. Go to firmware database and find your stock firmware (which you are using atm)
2. Download the FullOTA-MF-PV (click on "update" to download) and unzip it.
3. Download Huawei Update Extractor
4. Open Huawei Update Extractor and go to settings --> Disable both checksum boxes
5. Import your update.app File
6. Mark kernel.img, ramdisk.img and recovery_ramdis.img and rightclick -> Extract Selected
7. Flash them trought fastboot

fastboot flash kernel kernel.img
fastboot flash ramdisk ramdisk.img
fastboot flash recovery_ramdisk recovery_ramdis.img
8. Go to Recovery and do a factory reset and cache wipe
9. Flash your RR rom system.img with

No Problem. For Step 1-7 I dont know, if it's meaningful for you, because you are already on Stock. Maybe @osk4rin, @ante0 or @ajsmsg78 knows it.
I would say Step 1-7 is useless for you and you don't need to do it, but yeah, i dont really know

Ok my friend but there are another thing I didn't get my model from the list my model is MHA_L29C158B370 so where should I look for it?

I'm in beta 39 of OP3, if I install this version will I lose my data? Will I have to give full wipe?

If you are on open beta, you have to do clean install, wipe everything except internal storage, so you will lose data

Been running 5.0.6 for a few days now and don't see any issues.

Try clean flash, I used this zip from day one till now. All good here.

First time with oneplus 3 I got 6 hrs SOT with OOS 5.0.6 +moderate use.

someone has the recovery Oxygen 5.0.6 stock? since one plus what has been deleted from the web and I can not install by adb sideload.

You can simply dirty flash OOS 5.0.6 if you have TWRP and you will have stock recovery.

I get installation error if I try to install by twrp, but in the end and got the recovery, I leave it here, in case someone needs it.

I don't think so, moreover, it will replace your twrp recovery so you'll need to flash it back.

Can I just flash it from twrp, with not encrypted data, obviously after cleaning just data and system, without formatting?
(I don't care if recovery gets overwritten).

One UI 2 Beta - Rooting and installing working TWRP after Upgrade

Hi!
After flashing the One UI Beta to your S9/S9+ you can flash the latest TWRP on the same way through Odin jow you did it on Android Pie.
After flashing TWRP you need to wipe data.
Next step is to flash the latest magisk zip 20.1.
Than you have to flash the zip from here. This will modify the TWRP and make it fully working.
No more bootloop after flashing TWRP.
All credits goes to @Alucard for this great tweak.

Wich unit and wich steps you are going?

Please try this older version. It works both on my G960F

Nope

This is the magisk patched kernel for the 960 Beta.
Flash it through twrp in "boot".
Flash the zip again and boot.
If it doesnt work than go back to twrp and flash the magisk uninstaller zip, than the patched kernel and it should boot.
IMPORTANT!
THE FIRST BOOT AFTER THE MILTI DISABLE ZIP NEEDS BETWEEN 3 TO 5 MINUTES!

Flash Stock Rom CSK1 (XEU)
Let it boot (Welcome screen)
Flash update.zip (via abd or sd card)
Let it boot (welcome screen)
Flash twrp.tar
Boot in twrp
Format data
Reboot in recovery
Flash multi.disable.samsung
Reboot
Finish setup
Reboot twrp
Flash magisk
Reboot
Install magisk manager apk
Open magisk
Install the update (it ask you when you open magisk manager)
Let it reboot
Finish
