I had installed CM10.1 before, and I would like to restore the data on the internal memory, potentially only via CWM, but preferably a little bit more
Anybody got an idea how to get the data or phone restored?

I had this problem.. You must have v3.10.6 and flash every file in the corresponding place, after that I still got a fail message but I tried un-checking the auto reboot option and that did the trick (this will make the phone stay in download mode even after you complete the flash, to quit download mode you must press the volume down button and the power button at the same time for about 10 seconds) hope that helps, let me know.

What do you mean with that? witch 4 files?
Hope you can help me.
After a factory swipe and installing vodafone wallet on my S6 it says that it doesn't work on a rooted Phone
You have to put each file in the corresponding place, when you download the stock rom after you've extracted the zip you're supposed to have a file called AP, BL, CSC, AND the other which I cannot remember, those are the files you're supposed to flash, if you try to flash just AP like on the screenshot it's not going to work.

I think you downloaded the wrong firmware for your phone, your phone is G920F and the firmware you are trying to flash is G925F.
@Neostatic17, it looks like you downloaded the wrong file. The file should be a tar.zip, not tar.md5. Once you download the correct tar.zip, extract the file and you will see 4 files within the one file you downloaded. Then flash all 4 files with odin.
Edit...Ok, I've checked my pc and the file is a tar.zip before you extract it and once it's extracted, there are 4 tar.md5 files. All you have to do is put the AP file in the AP slot, BL file in the BL slot and so on. I leave auto reboot checked, but that is up to you.

SM-G800F Flashing rom problems - hidden.img failed

I want to share with you my experiences from failed rom flashing. I have branded hungarian rom, and wanted to flash polish unbranded one.
I download polish rom G800FXXU1AOG2_G800FXEO1AOG1_XEO.zip from sammobile.com and flashed it via odin.
Unfortunatelly it freeze at hidden.img:

What to do next? After hour of searching and trying i found that roms from various regions can have different size of hidden.img and it can cause that error during flash.
All you have to do is rename your rom file *.tar.md5 to *.tar and then extract files using 7zip or winrar, or other unpacking soft.
Then:
1. Remove usb cable and battery from your phone which is still in download mode (frozzen)
2. Turn download mode again (hold vol down+home+power button for some seconds)
3. Add modem.bin from extracted archive to odin CP field (make sure that re-partition is not ticked)
4. Start flash
If you are lucky as me, everything will flash correctly and phone will boot up
Anyway, do anybody know how to repair it permanently (to flash next time as human )? I tried to repartition it with PIT file but it didnt make difference. Maybe bad pit file? or what?

What do you mean? Add the cp file with the ap file? or just the cp file?
So AP is only for .md5 and the CP field is for straight .bin components of a firmware rom?
Thanks bro! That saved me big time!
Thanks so match
great solution thank u !

Who is your carrier and which firmware are you trying to use? Are you trying to downgrade/Update or something? Has the phone ever been rooted? Did you enable oem unlock in developer settings? It's kind of hard to just guess or help you with the information you've given us.
T-mobile and im trying to use stock note 5 firmware. Yes i was rooted and with a custom rom. Im trying to unroot the phone and put it back to stock but now it wont get past samsung note 5 logo and im still getting the fail from odin when trying to install the firmware.

That's because you rooted the phone and it tripped your Knox counter so the only way to fix this is to reinstall TWRP and then flash the rom again and after it's working go into SU and select remove root or whatever and then you'll need to extract the firmware you downloaded from T-Mobile and you'll need to put the files in the correct spot in Odin so they flash one at a time I.E. Boot, CM, RECOVERY etc etc... You should also try unzipping the firmware and then delete only cache.img and then repack/rezip it and try flashing it like that before trying all the other stuff.

you are not trying hard enough. hurry up before the battery drains out or you are gonna have a really bad time
press power, vol - and home for 9 seconds. Nine. At the 10th second the phone WILL reboot, now you must enter recovery (power, vol + and home) to keep it off and after that you may try to get into download mode.
once the phone reboot, it would bring me back to the error page and wont let me get in to download mode.
Flash with repartition ticked and add pit file for firmware you are trying to flash
Where does the pit file go?
you have pit tab in odin, next to log and options
where can i find nougat pit file? only seen 5.1.1
is same pit for all android versions, make sure is for your csc
thank you guys for helping me out and replying back fast. i fixed the problem.
