[Q] Softbricked phone, only need to get data - Galaxy S I9000 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
recently I flashed a wrong recovery file to my i9000. So now I have the phone-triangle-computer logo on the phone....
I am able to get the phone into download mode, but everytime I try to flash a CWM of TWRP tar file via Odin (both 1.83 and 3.07), both fail:
Odin 1.83:
Code:
<OSM> Check MD5.. Do not unplug the cable..

I had installed CM10.1 before, and I would like to restore the data on the internal memory, potentially only via CWM, but preferably a little bit more
Anybody got an idea how to get the data or phone restored?

can get into download mode with 3 button and resistor 301k
Have you tried re-downloading all the EZbase files including the EZodin and EZpit, could be a corrupt file(maybe the pit)
I've not had a problem reverting back to the 2.2.1 EZBase firmware. I did get a lot of errors when trying to install the 2.3.3 version of EZBase though. Just make sure that you use the pit file that is in that thread and you should be good to go.
As far as the radio issue in MIUI goes, there are plenty of 3rd party fm radio apps on the market that you can use to get the radio feature back again.
Re download all the files but still no joy

Thanks
When using Odin to Flash, Open task manager and close these : Kies.exe , KiesTrayAgent.exe, and KiesPDLR.exe
try different USB ports on your comp (the ones at the back seem to work best), different USB cables, with the battery in and out, with the SD card removed if you have to. It'll work eventually, It just takes a lot of patience.

You can install the driver by switching on your phone and press the button to enable file transfer via USB.This usually triggers the computer to download the SamSung driver.

Hi!.
I have the same problem.
I can not flash my GT-S5570i, allway boot.img fail, bcmcp.img fail... ... ...
I have installed Kies + Odin 1.84 (GT-S5570i edition)
-------------------------
FIXED:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2484904
you must split it into 3 files. pda, modem and csc. just stick to 1.84. search for samsung usb drivers and unistall that kies then install samsung usb drivers.
---------- Post added at 06:50 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:45 PM ----------
here's the link for Samsung Usb Drivers
here's is the ODINATRIX for splitting that into 3 files (pda, modem (phone), csc)
if you having problem that you can splitFUS tool. it's like odinatrix too

GT-I9305 Bootloop? Odin Fail, wanting data back...

Hi all,
Samsung Galaxy S3 - GT-I9305. After the OS patch was getting a few issues like system randomly resting, security block popups on some apps when there never was before. One night however woke up and the phone was powered down. Now only powers up only into Samsung Logo bootloop. Cant enter recovery mode, just goes into the loop. I've got 2 ROMs from SAM mobile for my carrier, one older and one recent, as i'm unsure what my ROM is and cant check it now. Both however fail with Odin. Log listing below.
Have tried different ports, using original cable. Ideally would like to get my data back as pictures and contacts were not backed up.... Please help! Pretty desperate and haven't really found anything in forums for this situation.

Hello and thank you for using Q/A,
can you please try flashing TWRP via AP:

And then please try to boot into TWRP using the known combination. Tell me, if your I9305 is booting into TWRP then.

Anyone have any ideas at all? I have no way to get a replacement until next week so I'm gonna do what I can to get this working. Any additional info can be provided
what I've tried:
different ROM ( could be using the wrong one)
N920PVPU2BPC3_N920PSPT2BPC3_N920PVPU2BPC3_HOME.tar.md5
N920PVPU2BPD2_N920PSPT2BPD2_N920PVPU2BPD2_HOME.tar.md5
ALL_SPT_N920PVPU2BPC3_N920PSPT2BPC3_CL7231607_QB8832851_REV00_user_low_ship.tar.md5
all of these have the same problem. I am starting with a clean phone pretty much. system 0 bytes data 0 bytes
I have noticed that /system won't mount in TWRP when trying to repair the directory possibly this has something to do with it
Any advice at all is welcome. I have no clue where to go from here
EDIT: Just tried a new usb port and it worked after 7 hours of trying over and over
I would try to get my hands on an updated stock rom bundled with boot image and kernel and try that with odin. Also be sure you are using the right Odin.
