Hi,
I recently purchased a Chinese OnePlus 3t. I love the device but would like to switch from Hydrogen OS to Oxygen OS, do I just unlock the bootloader and flash their newest oxygen os rom ?
Any advice would be great.
Regards,
Rob
No need to unlock the bootloader. Just download the full package and flash.

very simple. just flash over in recovery.
there are a lot of tutorials on it, you may not even need to unlock bootloader. don't quote me on that though.
download the full zip for the stock oos.
then reboot into recovery, (hold volume down and power while the phone is off I believe) (might be volume up)
Then flash from file, (it's been a while since I used stock recovery) may have to adb the file.
But it shouldn't be different then flashing any other rom tutorial out there.
I found this for the oneplus one, does it also work on the 3T ?
Fastboot boot recovery.img
then install the su.zip file
MAKE SURE YOU BACKUP WHILE YOU ARE IN TWRP!!

edit: doesn't work on Oneplus 3T.
I accidentaly flashed oos 4.0.2 for oneplus 3 on a friends 3t. Zips are now missing but storage still shows 49.6 gb out of 53.6 gb. Should i just flash oos 4.0.2 for oneplus 3t and things will be fine? Please answer
Edit: its on tesla rom. I tried booting to twrp to flash the oos for op3t but twrp wont boot. And files in the internal storage keeps on getting deleted. Any recommendations on recovering the device?
Follow this guide to unbrick the phone. Do know that this will wipe internal storage.

Can you get into fastboot? If so, wipe all the partitions from there and flash.
If not, then you're probably going to have to use the unbrick guide.
Thanks for the answers, its fixed now
Hi everyone,
I need a link for th OP3T stock recovery. All old threads point to OnePlus website which does not provide the stock recovery anymore.
Currently on TWRP and want to return the phone to full stock.
TIA

If you install OOS and nothing else and reboot your phone, it will automatically install stock recovery and encrypt your phone (of its not encrypted).
So, you don't need to manually install stock recovery.

Hi, thank you very much for your reply.
I have installed the latest OOS 9.0.5 downloaded from OnePlus support site. Everything is working fine but TWRP remains installed as the default recovery. I want to go completely back to stock and get rid of the DM-VERITY messages at boot.

You're not using Magisk or a custom kernel or a patched boot image are you? Because any of those will prevent the stock recovery from being installed.

I wiped and formatted everything from TWRP and then installed the OOS zip. Phone is back to stock except for the recovery.

Very weird.
Here's a copy of the recovery https://www.dropbox.com/s/kvdtwt8gdxiu24s/recovery_op3t.img

Great! Thank you very much. I am finally back to stock recovery with the file you provided.
Cheers! :good:
Recently I tried to flash Realme UI to my device using the ofps provided in the forum on the realme forums.
This resulted in a bootloop but since I had bootloader unlocked, I tried to flash the fastboot images, provided here.
This did not solve the bootloop issue.
In the end what I did to fix it was:
Download the stock firmware.
Extract the firmware files using Oppo_ozip_decrypt tool.
Install the official TWRP.
Install the firmware zip files using TWRP.
Download Links to official firmware:
RMX1992EX_11.A.19
RMX1992EX_11.A.18
RMX1992EX_11.A.17
NOTE:
These firmware links are for RMX1992 only. Make sure to download the firmware for your respective devices.
Well done
Will it work on rmx 1991?
